The Year of the Rabbit is upon us. So, from now until January 7th, any rabbit themed commission (bunny suits or full bunny characters) are $10. Just note me a request, as I only take 4 commissions at a time.

No, I do not use an airbrush on any models I build. I use spray cans and hand painting. I tried using an airbrush once, and broke it (the needle tip snapped off, and the spring was lost when I tried to clean it out). Pretty clear I'm not cut out for using an airbrush, and went back to methods that worked best for me. Sad thing is that the airbrush was a Christmas gift from last year.

This isn't the first time a gift went to waste on me either. The earliest one I remember was when my sister got me an easel... one size for small paintings. It was too big for any sketch pad I used, and eventually got thrown out after a leg broke when my door slammed into it. Another time was when I got a Monoprice drawing tablet. Never got comfortable using it at all (there was just too much of a disconnect for me), and it now just collects dust on my work shelf. Third time was when someone gave me a painting set. And we're talking canvas painting set, with a small canvas included. Not a medium I use, and although I thought I could possibly use the paints and brushes for models, it ended up going to the thrift store after a few months.

Recently, I got a full manga art set at a Christmas party, complete with colored pens, sketch book, and such. While the paper may be useful, and possibly the black pens, I don't know if I will use the colored pens at all, since the last time I used markers and colored pencils was over 15 years ago.

I guess I should ask. Have any of you ever got something as a gift that seemed useful at first, but ended up just being useless and/or unused in the end? I'm not talking like tone deft gifts here (gifts you never wanted to begin with, and ended up getting rid of or regifting). I'm talking stuff you thought would be useful when you got it, but turned out you never used it at all, or only once and never again.

This weekend is Anime Fargo, which I will be attending. As such, I will not be taking any more commission requests after Wednesday the 21st, and will not open up again until the evening of Sunday the 25th. This also included the Monster Girl Factory Sale, which has one slot left, but will be opening more slots after the 25th.

I'm currently finishing up my current projects (including a custom adopt with a complex outfit), and have some new pictures coming soon, as well as two more custom figures (one awaiting parts, and one awaiting paint). As we are now entering Halloween, I'm going to offer something fun here. For $10, I will make monster girl reference sheets using one of the templates I have on hand, based on an AI generated image from sites like Waifu Labs or Make Girls Moe. I'll pick a monster girl species that I feel fits the character, or pick a random one, so this is going to be you rolling the dice here. You will get a flat colored nude, and either a underwear, swimsuit, or pasties version (depending on preference). There are going to be simple outfits, nothing overly complex. If you want shaded, it's an extra $5.
