Posted 4 years agoSo Mercury just gave me a heart attack, saw my bird on the bottom of the cage acting weird and making weird sounds, I thought "OMG ARE YOU DYING??" I started googling nearest avian vets- then it's over. Mercury laid an egg.
My little birdie is a girl after all.
And yes I've been babying her extra because that was awful, poor baby <3

Birthday
Posted 4 years agoToday was pretty awesome, definitely one of my favorite birthdays so far. Our students were super cute, we had some cheesecake, it was great. Then after work we ran off to eat and gossip X'D. Haha! I also finally ordered myself a gift, carnivorous plants....... FINALLY. B'D But yeah, it was nice and simple, the way I like it ;u;
But that being said, I feel like in such a good mood :D I want to offer some free doodles, so post a ref of your OC and I'll probably draw our OCs interacting X'D But I might just draw your OC alone, I dunno. It's random haha! And feel free to post even if I drew for you before.
(I'm cross posting on other sites too so if a lot of people post I might not draw everyone's, just gonna doodle a couple of them for fun.)

I'm posting this really early so I have enough time to work on them before Halloween. But basically, 10 slots. 5 treats, 5 tricks.
All you need to do is pick whether you want trick or treat, post a link to your OC, let me know if you're ok with gore or candy gore (I'm not actually sure that will even be part of this but juuuust in case haha. I'm still brainstorming.) I'll start posting the results nearer to Halloween :D

Help choosing a name?
Posted 5 years agoSo I decided I am going to get another birdie companion. I already got a set-up for them and I know a breeder. BUT NOW- I need names. Haha!
I'm having a hard time choosing a name, I kind of want to name them something that has a song with their name in it? XD Like I had a bird named Sunshine and Clementine, ect. But I'm having trouble choosing one this time? Do you guys have any suggestions?
Also I don't name my birds according to gender so it doesn't matter what kind of name it is. XD.
HAHA Was kind of considering Jolene because then I could just yell their name at them "Jolene, Jolene- Jolene JOOOLEEEENNNNEEE" Bwahhaa. But I still want more suggestions. X'D...

Posted 6 years agoHey guys sorry I've slowed down a bit, but I'm almost caught up now :D! I just wanted to say though, that I plan to be out of town for most of this week. I'm celebrating pretty much all this week and going to hang out with family on the coast. But when I get back I plan to come back full force, hopefully! I think the little break will help me recharge haha.

Posted 7 years agoWell, I've finally finished a very large commission. But my work isn't over just yet, I guess I'm going to try selling at this little local craft fair. They accepted my application, so I've been trying to get some things ready for it. After that, it's mostly just the prepping for Califur that I need to do.
Which, I love my printer. It makes such beautiful quality prints. But does anyone know a printer with a slightly better ink life? Because I can't seem to do much before my ink is just all gone. I dunno though, that might just be the print for the good quality haha. I'm looking just in case though!
