Wait...let me rephrase that...I feel that parents have a responsibility to spank their children if those children refuse to respond to all other forms of discipline. Really, the point of raising children is to teach them how to act in the current society they have to live in and if there is no intolerable, or at least unpleasant, consequence to refusing to learn how to properly act, there is no real impetus to learn.
