I've been getting a lot of questions this year about what rights creators have to use the species that I designed some decade or so ago known as the crux and I wanted to clarify your rights to use them in your own artistic works once and for all, hopefully. I suppose it's my fault for not doing this much sooner and I hope any artists who felt apprehensive about using them will forgive me! Artists, content creators and costume creators alike etc etc are at liberty to do what you will with the crux species IP. I appreciate nods for being the original designer but they should be considered an open source property at this point. I'm not sure how to put that in clearer terms. Please have fun with them, do what makes you feel creative and happy!
