I'm still trying to track down someone from my commissions at confuzzled after a mistake!

If anybody knows anyone who goes by the name "Shiroe" or something close to it, who was at CFZ and is waiting to hear about a commission, please let them know - I took the name as their telegram, but forgot to check it at the table, and it's coming up with nothing fruitful. Either I made a typo and it didn't get caught or some wires got crossed somewhere.

I really hate to leave someone hanging so I want to find them if I can!

Going through my commissions queue from confuzzled and it seems a couple of people gave incorrect/incomplete contact details. If anybody knows anyone who goes by:

It's been a while since I've felt comfortable thinking about the furry fandom again -It used to give me some bad anxiety because of several personal reasons. - it's nice, I miss you lot.

Maybe new art sometime in the future, maybe a handful of smaller comms/ychs? Considering it.

Hey guys! I'm going to be focusing on my art career as my primary objectives starting after EF! I'm really excited to be able to get more art done and put out there, so expect more content from me starting next month!

One thing I've been thinking about doing is tutorials/critiques, either here on FA, or on Youtube, or something similar, would that be something you guys were interested in, and if so...what kind of stuff would you like me to cover?

SO I'm currently in a big adult job and stuff, which starts off with 2 months work in retail, which was about an hours commute each way, which left me feeling so drained that I just could not sit down and draw for long periods of time, or spend much ime doing anything on my own really, as I wanted to spend my free time with my girlfriend a lot, too.

So yeah that's that. those two months are over now and I'll be moving into an office job thats about 20 minutes away from my new flat, and is generally a little more relaxed on timings, so I hope I'll have a bit more time then, don't expect me to be active for at least a couple more weeks, as I have to actually move and get settled in my new job!
It's all very stressful and un-fun but hopefully worth it in the end! :)

So something went wrong and the file I keep all my commission list on got corrupted a little while back, and I thought I re-built it already, but I think I might have missed a couple of people??

If you're waiting on a commission from me and I havn't updated you in over a week, please send me a note asap so I can sort this out! I'd hate to completely forget to give someone art they've paid for!

(Sorry if this journal is a bit meandering. I'm writing this just to get out my thoughts and look for raw feedback, so feel free to respond)

So, backstory: I did my dissertation this year, and for it I used a google forms survey. This has gotten me thinking about using them for commissions, as I've seen other artists do.

I've always thought that google forms have some strange mechanised feeling to them. It's like making commissions kind of corporate in a way?
At least that's what I worry. The more I think about it and the more commissions I do, the more I realise that the way an artist interprets a character on a ref sheet might be completely different to the owner of the character does. There's so little information truly shared between artist and their clients.

In an ideal world I'd love to ask commissioners each time:
What's your favourite part of your character?
Choose a piece of art for your character, what in that picture worked best for your character, what did they maybe misinterpret, or get wrong?

That way I can avoid making a mistake that a shyer commissioner may not wish to point out in case it cause me trouble? And then I hand them back a piece which they take and love but sigh because maybe I got one little thing wrong that wasn't worth asking to correct but it each time you look at it you notice it a little more.

I dunno I do that a lot, am I just neurotic?

Plus Google Forms is convenient bc if a certain person commissions you multiple times, you have a full document with all of their preferences already in a system.

What do you guys think? do you know any artists who have a good form for commissions?
