March Update

I hope everybody has been hanging in there and taking care of yourselves! Unfortunately, even outside of the obvious ever-present state of things, March has not been an amazing month art-wise. I have one piece that I finished up, and will be putting out mid-April. A lot of work certainly went into it, but I'm still left with a feeling that I could have / should have done more. Ah well!
One reason for the slowdown is that I'm going to be attempting to pivot towards actively making comics (outside of any commissions I might land). Art, and TF/Furry art especially, is a "Create what you want to exist" sort of field, and I've been itching to get some long-form TF comic work done. I just have to get over my own anxieties and start working lol! I'm *hoping* that I can start releasing pages pretty regularly starting in May.
Once again, I want to thank everybody who has been supporting me and my work! I'm still struggling with promoting and marketing myself, so please know that I appreciate everybody who favs, boosts, shares, etc.! Again, take care of yourselves these coming days. Every day is a victory!

December Update

December is nearly over, and gosh it wasn't the best of months. To be fair, 2024 wasn't a great year either!
Schedule-wise, there is one more November piece that's coming out next week, but only one small sketch is scheduled for release in January.
During December, I attended MFF, which was more of a social thing than a professional artist thing. Right after that I started working on some holiday gifts that I still have yet to finish. Between all of that, general Holiday stuff, and some personal issues, I haven't been able to get as much done this month as I wanted to, and I want to apologize for that.
I'm not sure what else can be done, but I for sure want to "do more" in January.
I want to thank everybody who has supported me this month and this year in general. I honestly couldn't do any of this without your help!

Rest in Peace, Dragoneer

He died struggling against the US health care system that viewed him as a nuisance. He was actively denied the help he needed. Help that could have meant he'd be alive now.

In mourning, we owe it to him to share his story, and do whatever we can to make sure this never happens again.
At the very least, make sure that people pay attention.

Posted 2 years agoSomething I've noticed in the TF community: A real desire to turn into one's fursona, and (ymmv), feelings of affirmation when referred to as their fursona.
To which a thought arises: If others identifying you as your fursona (or any non-human identity, really) brings you affirmation and joy, then maybe you should be kind to yourself and do the same ;3

As a bit of an explanation for things happening on this account: I am following a bit of advice I heard a while back: Draw the same thing, every day, for a year.
So get used to seeing a bunch of art featuring the same character turning into an anthropomorphic orca! <3
