Some news - near death exp. I guess.
Posted 13 years agoThis past Saturday I went for a ride on my Suzuki. Nothing out of the normal. Went to get my hair did, then decided, rather then head home, to enjoy myself a bit and take a cruise since it was a Saturday evening. Nice out, not really hot. Perfect time to ride with a touch of breeze and that rainy chill here and there. This, was possibly the first mistake of the night, I should have gone home and enjoyed the time I did have already on my bike.
Well, I end up going down the highway to Salt Lake City to cruise the State Street strip. Going around here and there I finally decided it was time to go home. That chill air and feeling of rain had me a bit uneasy as I was not in the mood to ride in the rain, for my first time, at night. Let alone with my return home being 25miles away or so.
Heading northbound on State, I had a couple of sly bastards get up on my ass, quickly pass me, then abruptly slow down. Caught off guard by the sudden change in speed I reacted, slowed down and down shifted, backing off from them. The one in front of me was a brand new white Challenger. The one to my left was a white Dodge 3500 Megacab. I keenly remember the exhaust on the Challenger looking retarded and typical of spoiled brats, with it being over-sized and obnoxiously loud and shitty sounding. What a way to ruin an already good sounding ride. Descriptions and distaste aside, I was doing my best to avoid being up on their tail ends, but they continued to slow down, going from an easy 45mph+ to more like 20mph. I started to figure they were intentionally messing with me, so I chose to make a merge to my left and try to get around. Shoulder check, hit blinker, start to move, the truck hits his brakes. Swerving back into my lane, I realize my distinct disadvantage and danger. The truck slowed so much so that with me being back in the far right lane, I had an opening in front of him.
Downshift, shoulder check, gun it. Took my chance, got in front of him, and started to slow as I got back to 45mph. The start of fuzzy memory and adrenaline are apparent as even in typing this my heartbeat throbs in my neck, my temples, my hands shake uneasily. My right mirror lights up and before I can react I jerk, my bike wobbles and I swerve to the right lane. The truck at whatever speed we were at gave me a nice friendly Hi-ho neighbor love tap. Having released my throttle in the action and my foot applying itself unwantingly to the rear brake, I had slowed down. The heart sinking, gut wrenching pain that went through me was only amplified as I thought - "fuck... the Challenger..." A glance into my mirror again, headlights changing angle, the annoying pitch of exhaust being forced out from the power of a throttled engine heard.
I made my choice again, take another hit, or take the curb. Moments seem slowed and obscure in my memory. I know at the time it happened faster then I can possibly describe. My body reacted, my foot let off my brake, clutch in, throttle applied, I tried to get out of the way and do my best to pop the curb. Lifting up as I let off the clutch, I don't know what happened. Hit again, wheelie, or what. I made it over the curb, I jumped to my right as my bike gets laid out. It didn't go far. My bike may have been dead before I even hit the curb. I don't know. My speed, my location, my health, nothing was registering, and still is a blank thought for me at the moment of sitting up and seeing the two vehicles stopped just ahead of me.
Doors opened, people got out. My vision is hazy, my heart pounding, I reacted again. I picked up my bike. Let me inform you now this is a Suzuki GSX750 F Katana. The listed weight, with all fluids is 231.0 kg. (Pardon my jest at the fact that the three numbers always appearing in my life. Some of you know what I mean about this...) For you not familiar with what that is in pounds, its just over 500lbs. I grabbed the bike, hands gripped to the throttle and clutch, and lifted it up. My thoughts at the time? Well I'm sure something along the lines of fuck me, these guys want me dead. Thoughts now? Fuck adrenaline can cause some strange shit to happen. Bike lifted, I held in the clutch, started it up, tapped my foot until the neutral light had blinked and I was in first, and opened her up. Off the sidewalk, into the street, my memory is fuzzed again for this. I didn't look back. I didn't want to. Twice I did, the result was ...well.. I got several blocks down, hit a light to go left to get on the highway and get the fuck home.
Smoke swirled around me. Thoughts came to a halt and I looked to the left side frame, then leaning the bike to the left, I looked at my right. Seeing nothing, I leaned it further, and the site was borderline as scary to me as what just happened. The lifeblood of a vehicle, that slick and expensive black blood was starting to pool under my bike. I panic. I'm on State still, they might be behind me and I now have a dying bike. My chance opens, and slowly guiding my bike through the intersection, I nearly lay her down several times. A slicked up rear tire making my stress greater. Several blocks down, I get lucky. A Maverick with a spot open to park. I make the uneasy lane changes and two short turns, hitting the kill switch the moment my bike leaves the main road, fearful of destroying my engine with the flow of liquid leaving it.
I called some friends who came to wait with me until a tow truck could arrive. There was a 30-45m gap in that time where I was certainly in shock, hands shaking, walking back and forth, trying to get a hold of people with a dying phone. I had looked at the damage, thought it was a loose oil pan plug... and with it covered in fresh, painfully hot oil, I tried to turn it with my gloves on. Don't do this. I know I was in shock, because I did it fucking twice. It didn't register what was going on. Just that I needed to stop the flow and save my bike from losing all its blood, should I need to get the fuck out of there.
To shorten this last half. The tow truck driver is a fellow rider. Owns a Ducati in fact. His brother is a member of the SLCPD Gang Unit. Over the short time of loading my bike and getting in for the drive home, he called his brother and told him what happened. I had not called the cops. Why? Well, stupid reasons. But needless to say, his brother was sitting behind a vehicle....a Dodge truck...a white, 3500, megacab. Hearing the story, while on the phone, a white obnoxious Challenger revs up past the pulled over truck and officer, window down taunting the Dodge driver with laughs. Cop hangs up. Short time later, both vehicles pulled over together, the cop gets my story on the phone, approaches the Challenge and with us on speaker phone:
Cop- "I heard you had an altercation with a black street bike tonight?"
Challenger- "No officer, was no problem, nothing happened."
Cop- "Oh really? You sure? Because I happen to know for a fact, that street bike is sitting on the back of a tow truck right now."
Challenge - "Oh....FUCK!"

A call back shortly after, the truck and car drivers admitted to it. Both them and passengers were arrested. Drivers were arrested for attempted vehicular homicide. Both rides impounded. The cop during this call thanked his brother for this. Both vehicles had been causing issues, numerous calls about them made that night. Had he not made the call for me, they would have gotten away with some misdemeanors. Free to cause harm to others as they did to me. Both were, from what he made it sound like, gang affiliated. Also, told me I was lucky to have gotten away.
150$ in towing, I am in the negative with my account, unable to afford shit now. But, I am alive. No damage to me. Thanks to Quixx, who from his experience made me remember to always ride with safety gear. I'm sure that saved me some serious pain when I laid out the bike. My bike however, is damaged. Front to back, mirror is scuffed to shit, right side panel busted in and scuffed up, front peg has been sheered off a bit, passenger peg as well, muffler is scuffed and dented up. Badly damaged front right fork, smashed exhaust (manifold?) right where it curves under the front of the bike. Throttle assembly is fucked up, still works, but not like it should. Lastly, the killer that prevented her from making it home - the exhaust when hit (I assume the curb nailed it) smashed in, causing it, in turn, to crush against the oil pan. A hairline rupture of the pan along the exhaust brackets is what did it.
So there. I'm alive, all the money I had left, now gone, the fucking pieces of shit who did this are in jail, and I twice now have had difficulty fucking sleeping. I know I will get over it but fuck. Close my eyes and I see the lights in my mirror, the jarring of my body as I was jerked around... Anyways, I said I'd make a journal. Its nice and long but I feel kinda better spewing out my night that I should have just gone the fuck home. Bleh..
As one last thing to add... I never realized how much I loved someone until this all- when you really think you are gunna die. I don't fear death... but I fear not being able to say good-bye to the ones I love. You know who you are and for all my friends here, thanks for being in my life. You guys keep me going and mean a great deal to me. Why? Because I have made an impact on your lives, in turn, you all have done the same for me. So for me, for yourselves, keep smiling, love those around you, and tell those you love, you love them. You never know when one simple choice can be the last simple choice you make.

The 90 Day Challenge
Posted 13 years agoSo, recently, I found out about the 90 Day Challenge. I spent some time in Miami, at an event called Vitality. An overpoweringly awesome event that just amazed me, moved me, and inspired me.
I've been wanting to lose weight, get back in shape for awhile. But didn't have a reason to. Well, I found it. Something that motivated me out of the depression I have been going through with divorce and losing everything of mine. I can not express how down and out I have been.
But, what could possibly bring a folf from wanting to quit entirely, to giving him more energy then he has in fursuit? Simple. ViSalus.
The 90 Day Challenge.
The opportunity to change my life around, make an income with having to be my job for hours, heck, the chance to never have to work again. Something that gives me the chance to even get a free BMW! Nothing makes me more excited then helping others. Changing their lives. Well, now I have something that is changing mine, in ways I never thought possible.

How about an update?
Posted 13 years agoSo, check it out everyone. I have been pretty busy. I got a new job that keeps me busy for every day but one, in which I try to jam together all kinds of things to do, but end up sleeping through most it.
This is why no new videos, or many pics, or any journals have been made. Here you have an nice update though!
So for starters, my job is blowing insulation. Mostly stuff to help people get rebates on their energy bills (gas/electric) and other similar stuff. I don't really like my job, in fact I typically hate it. The company I work with is possibly the most unorganized pack of chickens I have ever seen. This all aside, its a job, its paying my bills....annnnddd....
I also ended up having enough money, combined with my tax return, to get my new sexy machine....

It is my very own 1989 Suzuki GSX750 F Katana. I plan to add some things to her over time, but mostly, its my first bike and I will not do much to it, as I am sure wrecks shall be had eventually with it. Such is life. But, it has been the best decision I have made in a great while and I look forward to using it as much as I can!!
As for other updates, well, I am playing COD:MW3 and BF3 on and off. But not much, again, thanks to work I end up with an hour usually to come home, shower, eat, and get to bed.
I still plan to attend AC 2012, as well as MFF, and RMFC. Past those, I am not sure. Those be the only ones I have a room and/or plane tickets for.
So, thats everything in a nutshell.
I do plan to have some videos up soon that I need to get around to making. But, its hard to do that when working....or sleeping.... all the time XD

FC 2012 Review! And more!

FC was a blast, though it had its ups and downs. I can't say enough that my friends are what made the con for me. From new friends, to old, to finally getting to meet some in person! It was totally worth it ^.^ Thank you everyone who made my first FC awesome! <3

I am also about to upload my 100th submission. I have made something special for it ^.^ But, I hope you all like it! Thank you to all my watchers, my friends, and those who have helped me out. I have been in the fandom now for just over 1 year. Literally. I joined FA Feb 7th last year. Since then, my life has changed completely, and for the best. It's all thanks to you guys! I look forward to my future and all the good times to be had in the furry fandom!

Some of you got to see it, and I got a lotta comments AND helpful tips on how to make my next one better! This first body suit was a big learning lesson, but Thay and myself have plans for another very soon! We will apply what we learned, and see what happens! :D

A Con To Remember - FC2012!
Posted 13 years agoAlright. This is guna be a short one, if I can manage that. But, I plan to make a vid report soon. Its in the process of being made. So give it time. This time I have help :3
Let me give the fine point rundown here though.
I spent a damn good deal of time with the lovely
tsukikitsunetanuki which was honestly one of the best parts of my con. Even if it was just worshiping her or being by her side XD Got to have fun with her regardless and had many a meals with her and the lads from the Tavern whom I RP with on occasion. So this was the highlight.
Now then I had a blast rooming with some people. Big shout out to those peeps. ThayRustback for she really helped me out a bunch at the con. The others are:

pawz2010 leonicninja 
wolfbro86 and two others, Trux and a friend of Pawz, Zen. (God what is his FA, I FERGOTTED RIGHT NOW) Most the con it was just me, Thay, Lutris (wolfbro) and Trux though. Was hella cool meeting other peeps though! Was awesome!!!!
My con was also filled with suiting, meeting Raket (fa?), seeing Skroy a few times, and running into
syber and 
balto_woof too! Though at one point, rolling around on the floor, me and Syber litterally collided XD Then we played with Balto's tail for awhile while he ignored us both lol
I ate all over the place, enjoyed some parkour fun when I could, ran around the con in suit, and had just tons of fun. HOWEVER this con as the most unfriendly to suits. From the headless lounge in the farthest corner of the con space, to crappy set ups for everything else. The panels were no where NEAR suit-friendly.
AND THE ELEVATORS. FUCK TO YOU PLEASE those who kept filling them as much as possible. Fucking up the elevators. GRRRR. Thankfully I was on the 3rd floor :P
Next up.... Friends. They made this con for me. If I go back, it is just to see others again, not as enjoyable as other cons where I could do more. Buuuuuut I guess, its not all cake for me. Was still nice. BUT, it was much better to have so many friends. Quix, Kiva Roo, all the Tavern folk, and all those cool peeps I have met there. Forgive me for not linking names and such, but yea, you guys all made FC the best con ever for me!!
ALSO....doing something totally new.... them swaggapups and ninja time :3 Watching Bolt with Doryuu, Blue, Pawz, Monk-A, Thay, Zen and me..... that night, Monday night....was just god damn awesome. Seriously, it was hella fun, cool, and worth it! Even though it was so....different to me. Still had fun. ^.^ <3 hugs to you all!
The drive there, cost me 1600$ in repairs. FUCK THAT SUCKED. Almost had a damn blow-out on the highway. But we made it ok. Just costly is all. :( The ride back was nice and fast! Made it home faster then going to FC. Which was cool. Seriously!
I can't express how cool it was seeing old friends, making new ones, finally meeting some people in person, and more! FC2012 was a win for me, but 'convention wise' a fail. I would have had more fun if it was more suiter friendly. And if the hotels were not so ..damn....ugh...a pain in my ass.
Lastly then! This convention was not going to be possible, because of room complications....however, because of two fucking amazing people, leonicninja who helped fund me for the room, and 
Tek_roo who had a room he was sadly unable to use, thus making it possible for me to have a double bed room :D You two made this whole con possible. I can not thank you both enough! There is one however, who went out of his way, to help me. To make it possible for me to see my closest friends and enjoy my convention, 
red-paladin He went well out of his way to help me out, giving me the first funds needed to go to FC when I was well short and tight on money. Without him, FC honestly would never have been possible, Tek and Monk-A being a close second for it. Thank you Seppy, my smexi lil 'yote, I can't thank you enough!
To those I met, I hope to see you all again soon, to those who I made laugh, YAY! LAUGHTER!, and to the one person who made this whole convention one I wanted to actually attend, tsukikitsunetanuki .... The dealer who I assisted when I could, and whom made FC something worthwhile, right down to me using my fingers alone to repair her car's fender....when I should have been using pliers or something XD Thank you for convincing me to go Hoshi....though you never do read journals anyways.... <3 *hugs*

Just know that it was honestly one of the best con's yet for me. I think FC will beat it, but only time will tell. There WILL BE a recap of FC. I will not have much going on after the con, so I will get it done. Thanks for your understanding in this, if you were looking forward to seeing the vid. :)
Lastly to add to this here post, tomorrow is my B-day. A whole 26 years old. ^.^ You wouldn't think it by the way I am at a con or by my level of hyper-active insanity, but its true. :D Going to celebrate at FC. (thus the possible party) ^.^

In the meantime. I am scouring the world that is FA and seeking out some other Utah furs. Hang out, chill, whatever. Hell just chat online. IDC. I'm usually pretty social, I don't care if you have a suit or not, nor who/what you are. To each their own! I just enjoy meeting new people and having fun in life. Age usually dont matter either, though being 21+ makes things easier for me, because I do love drinking with friends and getting to go out to clubs n shite. But, anyways...
I now go back to searching..... So many furs on the three Utah Furs sites here, yet a ton I dont know *_* Must fix this!! mwuahhaha

Posted 14 years agoSo check it. The Recap vid is going to be delayed. BUT IT WILL GET DONE! I have a great plan for it, and I don't want to let it go on by.
HOWEVER. The big news. The Folfy is making a huge change in his life!! I am going to be moving about 3 hours away from where I live currently! I am going to move from Wyoming (sadly, because I love Wyoming and being the only fur from there at cons lol) and will be moving to Ogden, Utah. Job opportunities and a chance to start fresh await me.
So, I will be around, but I am going to be very busy packing. This whole thing came to fruition in just a few days honestly. So I am a bit nervous. But, the move is going to be good for me and help me in the end.
So for all of you around the northern Utah area, I shall see you all soon as Utah will be getting itself one mean, green, folfy party animal!
Uhmm I think thats it for now... So I will keep you all posted!

Aight. I'm guna make this short, sweet, and Monster covered.
I plan to have my MFF recap up soon. I actually got a nice number of requests to do another vid-recap. I have plans for a pretty amusing one... Its guna take me all day to film, so prolly doing that Sunday...errr... later today? XD
But, for starters, MFF was my best con to date. From the friends, the memories, trying Absinthe for the first time, to just chillin with some cool peeps, down to only sleeping twice in a 8 day time frame. I love cons. I LOVE THEM SOO MUCH.
Thanks needs to be given for a day of turkey slaughtering and land thieving, and I am thankful for many things. Especially the only person whom I actually gave thanks to that day: tsukikitsunetanuki Because, well god damn it, she means a lot to me, and has helped me more then anyone this year.
BUT ---- all of you who are my friends, I give thanks to having you, because for a Folfy who never had many friends, I am truly blessed and honored to have so many who care about me now! ILU ALL! <33

Posted 14 years agoSo, because the time is closing in and many have been asking....mostly because I spread the word that I was... weelllllllllll I do not know if I am going still.
I have some money saved, but am not wanting to fly. Just...not really. Mostly because I do not want to buy tickets.. on the 15th when I get a paycheck, so that I can leave two days later. Tickets would be nice and costly I am sure.
So, as it stands... I am going to plan on going still. But I will be driving.. probably. Unless tickets are like...400$ still. Right now I am very tight on funds, and may not even have enough. It all depends on getting money I am owed before then, and still seeing if anyone I know in the area, is able to go with me.
So, hope I get the money, hope I have the time, and hope I get to drive so I can pack Monster and Vodka for the ride! :D

Posted 14 years agoYep, it happened. snapshotsquirrel finally convinced me to get off my tail and go down to his studio. The end result? Like 250+ pics. So, he has sorted through some, but here soon, expect a submission spam from me as I am going to be uploading a bunch.
There are a few in there....taken...with the utmost humor in mind, but ill certainly have a mature rating. I love getting a good laugh out of making myself out to be a fool.
