Holy hell. Update time. Short and sweet yea? KAY. Lets do it:
1) Had to get rid of my G.Shep. I am near traumatized and just wanna *rage/quit* Life happens. FML.
2) Got new truck, traded in old car. MPG is now like 9 in town vs 18. FML my wallet is crying. BUT, i needed a reliable ride. Ford F-150 XLT 39k miles. Seen the pics? Its awesome. But I still hate Fords.
3) Marriage. It sucks. At least when the person you thought you loved for nearly 6 years, admits to being a cheating, lying whore. Who, hasn't loved you for the past 3 years, only marrying you for the added income the Military gives.
4) RMFC was so awesome, I will always go. I loved it. WAY fun. TONS of memories. God I miss you furrballs. <3 Thank you so many times over for a god damn amazing weekend.
5) My knee!!! Its still not healed proper. Doc swears its 'stamina' but he is also telling me I don't need therapy for it now. So, work-comp stopped paying for it. Dumb twit. I can't kneel down STILL! GAAAHHHH. I hate doctors more now.

madefuryou God damnit you guys are awesome. Thank you for the shirt. For you not in the know, it got taken at RMFC when in the headless lounge. Was under my mask, then was gone. Who steals a shirt, SRSLY? Man thats messed. But Balto is so damn cool. He replaced it. <3 Thank you.
7) Work. I can haz PLEASE? My job put me off working...I dont know why. I tried to go back. But he pushed my 'return date' back more. I am applying to other places....JUST IN CASE. I'd prefer to work with my brother anyways. More money.
8) Drama is such a pain. Why does it surround me? I care about some, yes. Only because it involves me in someway. But other drama that I am drug into...not cool. I hate drama. *UGH* Oh well. Its life. /dealswith

RMFC and such
Posted 14 years agoYes, two days later. Because sleeping and trying to have the whole con go over and over in your mind all day and night, makes putting it onto key and screen a bit hard.
Lets try though. I might miss stuff, may even skip entire chunks of time, but I shall make it seem like I know what I am doing.
Day 1: The drive.
Left a bit late, hoping my new suit would arrive. It didn't so at 1pm, I was finally on the road with
snapshotsquirrel and 
rikko. We made it to Denver with ease, no speeding tickets, and talked a majority of the way. Stop in Laramie for noms, and FoCo for fuel. We passed 
hayride near Rawlins, then he caught up to us at FoCo at a light, when I needed to get fuel...then we passed him again after that, when we were going into Denver XD Small world.. Got to the hotel, unpacked, chilled for the night. It was me, snappy and rikko, plus 
akegata sharing a room, and once we got there, 
dragonssecretlovechild slept in the room too. Fun was had, drinking was done, and later we went to the pool... It felt like we drove hundreds of miles, so all us good friends could chill in a hot tub and BS. It was awesome. I met several peeps that night, but one, who I must mention, is now like a brother. 
pawz2010 . This dude is from Texas, first time to RMFC, and my god, I hung out with him so much throughout the con. Most certainly a friendship to last. Turns out we have some stuff in common too ;P
Day 2: OMG ITS FRIDAY
Not many showed up Thursday. The number of people on Friday was impressive. The line for Pre-Reg was HUGE. And the the normal registration line was moving faster XD HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! Regardless, registration went smooth, but they pushed opening ceremonies back an hour. Not many were there still :( I was though! If I say the rest of the day is a blur of friends, hanging out, running around in suit, more swimming and hot tub fun, it is true. Because sitting here thinking, well, my whole time from Friday on was a blur. So lets change this up...
I will make some key note on things that really stand out in my mind!
1) Meeting lyulf one of my favorite artists, suit maker, and very good friend. She is so shy, but soooo cute :P If anyone in my life can get away with saying 'sorry' all the time, she might be it ^.^
2) Meeting
spinningpeanut finally! A fun and cool girl, i loved her suit and she was really fun to hang with when I wasn't bouncing around the con walls
3) I found a dog bowl at a pet store, bought it, and handed out TONS of candy with it!!!! A bunch of people thought it cute and funny and I loved seeing people smile and laugh about it.
4) My squeaker skills got put to the test. From 'Twinkle twinkle little star' to 'How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?' and even 'I'm never guna give you up, Im never gunna let you down' were all thrown at me. Each I performed like a boss XD Thanks to all those who filmed it, I hope to see the footage, and thanks to
SlayerTheLynx letting Ruby wear the suit, because she was the one who grabbed me into the crowd and got me really squeaking ^.^
5) OMG my friend, snapshotsquirrel went to the con, just for pics. He left a furry!!! He has a tail, fursona plans, and a nick name, Asian Snappy, or just Snapshot. The first nick given by Lyulf, the other was from the awesome pawz2010!!
6) I drank a lot, but a friend, she got sick :( made me really worried and upset cause like, I really care about my friends. But elevation goto her, and she had to go to the ER. I was glad to see her back and doing ok.
--It was hella funny so many people 'warning' me and others in my lil group to be careful drinking. Denver is like 5280ft.... My hometown is 7200+ft ^.^ Thank you for the warning, but down there, I be drinking anyone under the table!
7) I can make this list last! But I am trying not too.... Fursuit parade was hella fun, but painful on my knee as I was in the front row, *derp* kneeling with my bad knee... after the parade I got RIGHT up outta suit. Heat + knee = pain I do not want
8) Late nights chilling with friends. Every night was shared eating out with friends, chilling in the little commons area of the hotel, the hot tub or headless lounge. All those I met in those places, from DJ Fennec to Ruby in Gold's suit, Balto, Syber, and more, my god... some amazing memories. Those are the reasons I love conventions ^.^
9) Time flies. I didn't get to spend enough time with those I wanted to. But I hope they all know, I am just a bouncy, off the wall suiter who is always on the move. If I wasn't trying to regain my brain in my room and cool off, I was in the hot tub. Only times I was not out and running around it seems. So next time, expect me in those two places, and I will gladly hang out!
10) Going out to eat and just walk around. This turned out fun, because I got to spend -some- time with my closest friends. I am also glad Famous Daves was soooo cool about our tails and such. We got to talk to the owner about them :D
11) I am so forgetting stuff, but this window has been up for three days now, so its time to post it I think.... Sorry, but this con, my camera was busted. So no footage :( But I brought my own Pro Asian Snappy for pics :D And he did a great job getting plenty of shots! 800 some i think XD Thanks Snappy!!

shadow-da-wolf This guy! A dance judge, and cool guy to chill with. Shadow, you know i didn't mean to forget you XD I've been soooooo busy last few days. Was cool chillin with you, though I hope we can hang out more another time. Not enough time it seems at these dang con's!
Aight, posting this now. To those I missed, you know I love you all like family, because going to a con for me, is all about hanging with friends and family. You know who you are.
~Also meeting two friends, a Mr. Collies, and Kolmeck, was FUCKING COOL!!! Just awesome to meet people online and then in person. Thanks for making it guys! You were both hella cool!

I squeak. I squeak reeeeal good. But I also talk when needed. I dont bark, I dont do yips, or meows. Someone asked me to once.... o.0 I will talk, but squeak, is my preferred choice.
Can I touch you?
Sure, be gentle. My knee hurts still from surgery. NO jumping on my back (Zeo!!!) :P But also, dont sneak up on me... I am not liable for pain-induced 'BOO!'

I do have a tail squeaker. Please, unless you know me, do not run up and just tug my tail or squeak it. My squeaker. Not yours. Ask...then maybe. :)

I am wild, crazy, and will likely be drunk. I don't get rough and mean, but I can seem off my rocker. So yes. If you can tolerate a delusional lush folfy.

Depends. I may be hungry, might not. But do not expect to 'buy' me any noms. I can do that, and if you don't mind me bringing others, then all the better. I love fine dining, down to dollar menu. Hope you don't mind me going in suit too ~

Today's journal is one that has been waiting to get posted for awhile, because, well, I have been busy as I can with life in general.
The last month has been filled with surgery, relationship issues, me getting stuck in a pathetic emotional rut, getting a speeding ticket (91 in a 75 = 160$), and then finally coming to the point where I need to find a new home for my G.shep, Ky'zer. Had him for near 3 years, but, with the wife gone and me soon to be working a bunch, I can not give him the love and attention he needs, and used to get. This, above all else really has me down.
--Regardless, I got to do some fun things recently. Last month, there was the Orem Summerfest (pics in my submissions) and at the end of this journal I will be linking the video made from that awesome outing.
--I did a fun photo shoot of sorts with my friend who is a pro photographer. He will also be coming to RMFC with me, and since I wanted some fun pics and he some experience photographing furries, it worked out well.
I have a few of those pics [u][So expect a photo dump here shortly!!/u]
--My knee is doing better. Still can't bend it fully, much less kneel down right now. But therapy is making it better. So, that is nice,I guess. It still has some of the same issues as before surgery though, which rather upsets me.
--RMFC = Yes I am going. I was going to do a meme thingy, but this journal will prolly be up awhile, seeing as I am lazy. But I might yet do one. I will show up Thursday, leaving Monday. Bringing a couple friends from my town, one is a fury, the other the pro-photographer. Staying at the main hotel. Yes, I am suiting. Yes, I should have my new suit. =^.^=
--I am also getting a new reference sheet done up. Being colored as we speak, hopefully done today. If not, well I hope soon. So far its looking pretty good, and I am excited to see it completed.

pawsthewolf made me, got ruined..BUT... I spent a lot of time with a bleach pen, and some hand washing... Happy to say, I got all the color-bleeding stains out, and it looks alright. The color -really- faded on the first wash, but its still looking cool as hell, and I have gotten several compliments ^.^ Big thanks to Paws for the awesomeness :D
--Ok,so, lets see.. putting everything in one long journal rather then 10 little ones every other day.. But, I am looking at moving. I love my job, and if I can keep it, coolness. But right now, if I do lose my job... moving is probably going to occur. Where you ask? Well... Utah. Why? Because I love Wyoming, I do. I would be hard pressed in fact to leave. But I enjoy having friends, especially furry ones, that I can go hang out with and do stuff with, ya know? So yea. This is in the background of things, as I may still go to Hawaii. NOT really sure.

Recovery From Surgery N' Stuff

So, surgery is over. The doc claimed that he didn't find anything wrong with my knee, in the joint or the bones around it. But he said nothing about my tissue around it. WTF. This is why I hate doctors, hospitals, etc, etc etc...
So now I am in 'recovery' and my knee hurts more then it did when it first got hurt. Nothing major I suppose is going on with it, past me just kinda being in a snappy mood. I do have a high pain threshold, but I have been know to get pissed off easy... should I snap anyone's neck, forgive me <.<;;

Next on m list of things to journal about... I have no life. So much so, I actually have an 85 in WoW now. Yea... nothing better to do sitting here in pain. BUT. In my defense, I am on a server with cool friends, and I am being 'online social', talking with new people more and shite. So, I guess it is kinda good for me? Whatever... wish I could play Eve Online, but my wife spent so much money in Hawaii that I am broke XD God akdnxfa;ksjdf;kasjd rammit all.

WELL NOW! My new partial should be nearing completion. I will have pics I hope here soon.. Lyulf is such a busy person :P But I am so damn excited for this new suit. I have plans for it ^.^ Should be fun as hell! Plus I have two LED collar's (red and white) I bought from her. Those will ship with my suit! So, I am just waiting.....nail biting.....edge of my seat nervous like =3

Knee Surgery & More!
Posted 14 years agoAight check it. The Folfy is getting his knee all surgery'd upon July 6th. I hate doctors, I hate hospitals, and yea... this is going to be interesting.
Next up, RMFC, Yea. I will be there. Surgery-rehabilitation allowing, I will be there if I have to be on crutches! EVEN IN SUIT!!
Friday I buy my room/reg and plan. So anyone watching me expect me there, say hi and what not!
Continuing on the list of notable things, I have been drawing more. Nothing makes you feel better then drawing something, feeling like you suck at it, but did ok, then someone else shows you their art, and your e-peen drops to the negatives. AKHSDFLKASHDFPOIWHPNV >< i SUCK at drawing.... But whatever. Expect something to be posted shortly. I am actually kinda proud of it? Idk.
Moving along, I have my new suit mask. Went to a parade (FIRST EVER!!!) was hella epic. Had tons of fun, even with a back injury ontop of my knee injury. <3 I love suiting. Expect me to have some pics going up of me at July 4th events soon too!!!
August is RMFC, and at the end of August, is my county fair thing. I plan to suit. Expect pics of that, because I have NEVER seen a mascot/furry there before. I know most security and such, but....might get...furry if you know what I mean XD
Lastly, my knee hurts. My back is better, my art is still done by the Failboat Captain himself (this guy!) And I wish I had never punched so many people/things, then my hand/fingers would never have broken XD

Posted 14 years agoI will throw up pics I've taken when I get home, but I thought, since I finally got to sit and relax, I'd make a quick journal shout.
I leave Monday still, been having a blast with my wife, and been to the top of the Arch, the Zoo, bunch of malls, drove around to some riverside eatin places, ate at Poppy's Smokehouse (best fucking bbq EVAR) and a bunch of odd ended things! Even Six Flags!!!
Its been a blast so far, and tomorrow we go back to Ft. Leonard Wood to grab some stuff, then we drive back to STL to crash for the night, then we fly out Monday.
Was hoping to find some STL Furs, but alas, not a one has replied to me, nor can I find much online to help that out. Shame. Wish more groups were like the Utah furs I have met, way more outgoing, and not afraid to meet new furs in the area! Maybe I get lucky, meet one before the trips end? I dunno. I wear my tail EVERYWHERE though, and its gotten me free stuff XD From food, to smiles, drinks, and laughs, the tail is win!
Aight, off to browse more interwebs, then bed, then more driving! My rental... a Charger SXT, so I love to drive it ^.^

The Great Trip Begins!
Posted 14 years agoYup, today I drove to SLC. Tonight I shall rest up, then tomorrow, 1030 my flight takes me to Denver. A nice 40m wait or so, I catch another flight to St. Louis. Arrival time of 1530. Pick up my car rental, and start my drive to Ft. Leonard Wood. Check into the hotel, and rest up.
June 1st is Family Day at the base, and I get to meet all the wife's Battle Buddies. Dunno how long it will be, probably all day. When done, return to hotel.
June 2nd, Graduation Day. 0800 it starts. (or 0900?)... I take pics, or the mum kills me. After grad, spend time with her, and her family. Once this is accomplished, we drive to St. Louis. She wants to go to Six Flags... we shall see how things pan out. Eating and having fun are in order.
June 3rd till June 6th, I have the best possible time I can with my wife, and we enjoy everything that St. Louis has to offer. Basically, this is our honeymoon XD I expect a large amount of time to be spent...well.. *ahem* in the hotel room.... =3
June 6th, we fly out of St Louis at 1417, to Denver, another 40m some wait, then off to SLC again, arriving at 1944. May stay the night, may just go home. Not sure yet, depends on funds on hand really.
All times of course, subject to change, as I am sure we all know how delays are just part of flying...
So yea, things are looking good so far. I found out, just now, that United Airlines has this SWEET feature you can do. It's called Mobile Boarding Pass. A bar code link is sent to my phone. When I go to check in through security and boarding, I show them my phone, they scan it, and boom, done. A bit of stress is off my shoulders! Did everything online, checked in, got my seats (windows, oh yea!) and paid for my luggage too! Simple, stress free, and man does it feel nice to know I am that much further ahead of the game ^.^
Yay for long journals! I had 10 journals show up today, and 9 of them had been deleted already... seriously...wtf? XD Aight, I am going to kick it for the rest of the night, and try to put my mind at ease. I will prolly post up random journals during my trip, let everyone know whats going on, plus I will be taking lotsa video footage :D
Forgot to mention... I will be wearing my tail when fly. Should be interesting... Imagine, standing there, arms up, security guy running his little detector over me, lifting the tail up and running it along the tail XD OMG... I need to commission someone for that... XD

FCN 2011 Montage (yea, finally)
Posted 14 years agoSo here it is. The video that I honestly have been working on, but been swamped with other things. Now, sure, you seen so many others put up their vids of FCN the next week. Well, I am new with vid editing still, and I spent nearly 20hours of total time sorting footage. I found out I had 28hours of total footage to use. Some of me driving, me out of suit and on my cam, footage of me drunk and stupid, which better never hit youtube... and more.
But, after all that time, here you go watchers. My FCN Montage, as best I could manage, and as close to how it is in my memory :P
I hope you all enjoy my 22minute vid, and find it worth the wait...though some bits are smashed, mushed, and fast, honestly, its like that in my memory lol. There may be another vid of stuff...like a WTF FCN vid, of the other footage I have, that was too wobbly or out of focus, just for the lol's of things. Again, enjoy. I can't wait to go to FCN next year!

Time for Wife News
Posted 14 years agoWell, I figure that since I have been kinda keeping it in, but yet not...I would finally make a journal dedicated to just one thing, what is going on with my wife.
Yea, I am married, for those of you that didn't see that right off the bat at the top of my profile... My wife is an Army MP. who graduates from AIT June 2nd. I have all my tickets, and fun stuff.
Now, here is the big fun point. She is being stationed in Hawaii as her Duty Base. Sounds great right?!??! Well, she will be deploying to Afghanistan in September.
So, I get to spend 7 days, for sure (I hope) with her, only 3 of which will she be with JUST me, and then she leaves. Possibly not seeing her for 15 months.
Why 15months? Why not follow her to Hawaii? Pretty simple reasons really. I have a job, making hella big bucks (once my fucking knee is in proper working order) and everything I know/love is here in Wyoming, or nearby. I love my wife with all my soul, heart, and fur, but I can not justify moving to Hawaii, just to be with her for 3 months, then struggle to make ends meet for a year, with no one around me aside from TWO friends of mine. One is a Marine (WHO I FOUND OUT IS A FURRY! IVE KNOWN HIM FOR YEARS!!) and his wife, who live on base. He is in Afghan as well.
I have done my research. Give up a job I could very quickly make $10k a month, move with her, enjoy 3 months of Hawaii, then be alone for a year, working at Subway, or some $9/hr job doing basic labor.... I'm sorry to say it, but moving is not the logical choice. Love her or not. This way when she does get out, I have monies saved up, and we can request a transfer to Colorado, or something similar.

Yea, I am married, for those of you that didn't see that right off the bat at the top of my profile... My wife is an Army MP. who graduates from AIT June 2nd. I have all my tickets, and fun stuff.
Now, here is the big fun point. She is being stationed in Hawaii as her Duty Base. Sounds great right?!??! Well, she will be deploying to Afghanistan in September.
So, I get to spend 7 days, for sure (I hope) with her, only 3 of which will she be with JUST me, and then she leaves. Possibly not seeing her for 15 months.
Why 15months? Why not follow her to Hawaii? Pretty simple reasons really. I have a job, making hella big bucks (once my fucking knee is in proper working order) and everything I know/love is here in Wyoming, or nearby. I love my wife with all my soul, heart, and fur, but I can not justify moving to Hawaii, just to be with her for 3 months, then struggle to make ends meet for a year, with no one around me aside from TWO friends of mine. One is a Marine (WHO I FOUND OUT IS A FURRY! IVE KNOWN HIM FOR YEARS!!) and his wife, who live on base. He is in Afghan as well.
I have done my research. Give up a job I could very quickly make $10k a month, move with her, enjoy 3 months of Hawaii, then be alone for a year, working at Subway, or some $9/hr job doing basic labor.... I'm sorry to say it, but moving is not the logical choice. Love her or not. This way when she does get out, I have monies saved up, and we can request a transfer to Colorado, or something similar.

They look a bit bulky, but holy crap this look cool XD I doubt they have much good use at a con right now, but someday, knowing the company it wont be long, but ears like this could be incorporated into a suit!! Just an update (FCN footage, and more)

So, quick rundown of things, in no particular order:
--My wife gets out of AIT on June 2nd. I just spent my morning buying air tickets, car reservations, and hotel reservations. I can only say that I am honestly a bit intimidated. For some of you, these things may be normal. This is the first time in my life have done any of those things. I don't usually make reservations, and I haven't flown since I was a weee lad. So really, I am just a tad put off by it all. Oh well. I wonder what airport security will say when I show up for check in with a tail..... <////< I will be leaving May 31st to catch a plane at 1:30pm-ish. Stopping in Denver for an hour, then catching another flight to St. Louis, MO. From there, I am going to hop in my car rental (Ok, I splurged... and if its there....well I reserved a Camaro SS...but the lady said they may not have on in. So I will have to settle with a Mazda 6) then drive to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Got a cheap hotel for the time. June 1st, Kerri has this Family Day bit, then June 2nd, at 0800, she graduates!!! \o/ am so happy!!! Then we stay in St. Louis until June 6th. Fly back to SLC (with a plane switch in Denver again) and then back home! Man I can not express how nervous I am.... >.<

Alright, so as some of you may have seen, I am in fact uploading Who's Lion Is It Anyways? slowly and not at all steadily. But It is getting put on youtube regardless. Right now I am uploading Part 4. Expect me to post a journal when I have every part of it posted, a total of what looks to be 1.5hrs worth, spread across, possibly 7 parts, hell maybe 8. I don't know, I am just putting them together as I go. So, check out my youtube for the Parts I have up, watch for more to come!
--For those who know, I injured my knee real bad awhile back. I have been going to knee therapy and all that. But, the doc expects another 4 weeks of no work, which friggin suuuuuhhhhkks. Doing some new electrode therapy on it, feels weird, but hope it works... Past that, it still huts to walk, and I only regret FCN's antics a little, because i know that did -nothing- to help my recovery XD

--I am having a new suit partial commissioned from my amazing friend Lyulf via 
multicanidstudios ! The suit is going to have all sortsa cool and nifty new features for my 'sona. Should prove to be a really sweet outfit. It will be my night-suit you might say...due to those special ... lights... being made into it ^.^ I am so excited !!Make sure you check out her pages! She doesn't just make amazing suits, but does FANTASTIC artwork!
--Also, shadycreations is making a new mask for me, with some refined stuff, and what looks to be an awesome new moving jaw design he is working on! Check out his profile for the vid!

bladespark is making me a new fluffy tail! I love the first one I bought from her, so this next one I am really excited for! It's another green and black like my fursona's, but this one will be for more daily use, as I like to keep my suit separate and stuff so it doesn't get as beat up or dirty.
--Also commissioned her to make a tail for a friend I met, in the town I live in! He has been a furry for years! We have been getting to know each other more and hanging out a bunch. I have actually known him, but we never knew each other to be furries! \o/ So, it kinda sucks I will be leaving the state soon...depending on where my wife gets stationed....
--Long journals still suck. So I will end here, on the note that my Wal-Mart just became 24/7. Yea, after years and years of closing at midnight,they are open always now! So sad isn't it? I went there a few days back at 3am, in suit, and bought a movie, chips, and dip. XD I loved some of the looks i got. *priceless* The guy at the registered wouldn't even talk to me lol

The audio may get killed because you tube loves fucking people over with any reason they can to delete a video or mute the audio...due to copyright crap. If you suddenly can not hear audio, this may have happened.
The music is Basshunter: 'Professional Party People' and 'I'm Your Bass Creator'. I bought the damn CD so if they don't like me using music I damn well payed for, they can kiss my furry folf butt.
Anyways, enjoy the vid! I am at 1:09 or so in btw.

The footage....of FCN
Posted 14 years agoSo. I never did get around to posting another journal. The first one I think does it justice enough as to all the awesomesauce that was FCN 2011, my first con!
That having been said, I have been spending many hours watching all my film footage, tying to find tidbits of friends for them, and sort the unusable from the usable. Monster makes for a shaky cam, so does a furry running around 90% of the con, most of that, with a cam in hand... So lots of footage, of me literally running down hallways and cam shakin failness.
This all aside... I did manage to pick out several prime and juicy little vid bits. Starting with this one:

I am going to be editing up the Whos Lion Is It Anyways video footage next. I recorded it all from a side angle, and later, my battery died. So I missed another 30m or so of the show....that and the Forum it was held in was pushing temp's that I could not keep dealing with in suit >< Tried to go back to record more, but yea...was still soooo hot in there :(
Anyways. Watch the Old Retired Fur's. Enjoy it. Then, expect more soon. 1080p uploads take forever, you know that? o\

Wow.
Holy crap.
First con, first con in fursuit.... first time I drove a total of 47 hours (round trip) to spend 3 days in a hotel with, at the time, was a bunch of random peoples.
So, I am home. Took me awhile, got a lot to tell. But, I havn't slept .... in a long time. I drove again, one continuous drive from Novi MI to Wyoming. Now, the return drive I stopped and walked around a few malls, one in Des Moines, another in Omaha, and other places I passed through on I-80. But, I had so much god damn fun, I can not wait to go to another con!!
Oh, the Post-Con Disorder..Syndrome...whatever... sucks. Enough that StarFest is in Denver...this coming weekend...I know people who live there...and....I may now be going to that just to suit!!!
Recap? Well, there is so much, that it will be in another journal, after I get a full, sober nights sleep. But, here is a quick run down:
I met a chunk of suiters, who I was sooo determined to meet 'someday', but lucky for me, they showed up at FCN! I can not give a big enough thanks to these guys for making my firs con, so worth it, that I am nearly in tears from happiness!
skroy I met him right off the bat outside, making sure to give him a Monster Khaos before I did anything else! BTW: Vodka +Khaos = one intoxicated Evauk.
coopertom Seriously. I can't say how cool it was to meet you man. I know, seems like nothing much to some, but I admire you and I love your vids. You're so damn funny on cam, and off :P
yummers Dude. King Gourd. Just thinking back on the con and every time I ran into you, makes me laugh and smile. I'm glad to have finally met the furry who knows how to make a good mixed liquor drink!
kironeem I was so surprised you showed up to FCN! I didn't even know you were going, then BAM! You showed up and holy hell, I was so excited!! SQUEAK! Plus, you gave me a bunch of stickers!!! Was totally not expecting to meet you my first con, but damn did it just make it better!

Oh man... meeting Uncle Kage... Fender!!!....Abraham the (not-yet he says) pro photographer :P and many more... so many more!
Thank you. Every single person there. Thank you for making me feel at home being a furry, helping me enjoy my first con, making every painful driving minute worth it! OH... Iowa cops, can blow me. I got a 130$ ticket for no seatbelt...long story for another journal..but I had it on, he was just a d*ck. My phone got stolen...well lost then stolen I suppose. I had hoped it was just lost, but seems someone felt like trying to use it for other things... To that person, fuck you. Verizon said any charges occured get refunded. I already got my new phone, but I will call the Hotel and check FCN forums to see if anyone 'finds' my phone... grrrrr.... I will pay a reward for it..just to have it. It has a ton of info I don't wish to lose on it.
So, again, lastly, for this no longer 'quick' recap post... thank you to all the suiters who made this con so much fun! I have around 40-45gb of video and pics! All HD and man will it take me forever to sort through. But it is worth it! Great fun, great memories, and great new friends made!!

I am leaving Wednesday, showing up Thursday, will look for a place to crash (if not then my car) and staying till Monday!

How much fun can one furry have? I have all sorts of things I want to do, places to check out and other fur's to meet! I will be going all over to everywhere I can! Already making plans to meet up with some, and have fun with others. Will be fun to meet so many new people, and since this is my first Furry Con, I'm soooo nervous! But I am sure all will work out! Expect to see some footage, because I plan to carry my cam around with me everywhere I go!

SLC Trip!!
Posted 14 years agoSo, my trip to SLC started out needing to go to Hill AFB. Well, thank to some twit, I showed up, at 1632. This is because I was told, they close at 1700. Guess what. They closed at 1630 sharp. They don't get paid overtime it seems, so with that in mind, when it hits 1630, they don't answer the phone, open their doors, nothin. Now, I will come back to this, but first, let me recap what gone down...
Well, I planned to stay Fri and Sat in SLC so I could attend the meet. As well as do some other activities with some old friends. So, Friday I have the base issue, which means I can either drive back home, or I can stay till Monday, and go back at 0730 to the base when they open. I looked at the weather, thought about the drive, then the people around here that I can hang out with..... I chose to stay. Sure, I had to pay more for a hotel, since I don't know any furs really (nor wish to impose for several days ><) but, this way I can take a break from home, relax some, and just enjoy it. Along with the fun snow storm we had...finished hanging out with my friends, then spent two hours looking for a damn hotel. That was not fun.
So, here I am, in a decent little place, and just relaxing. Wishing it wasn't snowing, so I could go suiting... maybe try to on Monday before I leave. Take a little walk around Liberty Park with my bro... all depends on if the ground is soaking wet or snowy still :(
But, good news. Wife called!!! She is doing ok, going in for an MRI on her pelvis for an injury she got. May result in a 30 day leave to heal some. We will see. Plus, the big, rather intimidating moment is coming. This week she finds out where we are moving. This, is the thing that worries me, because they have ideas, as to where she is going... The list was: ColoSprings, Co - Ft. Drum, upstate NY - Korea - Japan - Greenland. Then the earthquake. Korea and Japan were no longer on the list. Well... The list is now: Germany, Colorado, Korea. Sounds good, sure. But it's looking a lot like it will be Germany. I don't know what to really say for that. I thought leaving the country would be cool. But two years in Germany... *ugh*
I will post up what will happen. But it seems this furry might be needing to look into making some friends in Germany. I would go nuts not being near other furs.
Also, I am looking to have a suit made...again :P Mainly because a good friend of mine is going to start making them, this may be the last year she makes them. So I want to get one from her. I do have some good ideas for it, and I will keep things updated on that too.
Alright, long journal. But one long is better then 10 short, right? :P I am going to head out now, and see what other trouble I can cause atm.

Trip to SLC, New art pad, and then some!
Posted 14 years agoThats right! Plenty of good news today.
Starters: Went on a trip to SLC and took along the suit. Was a lot of fun. Walked around in front of Gateway mall, as well as a few other places. HOLY CRAP a lot of pics got taken!!!! I only got a weeee bit of footage at Gateway mall, they got upset ...even though I was across the street. End result? No suiting allowed at -any- of the malls in SLC. I went to Fashion Place too, and asked management. I was told I can get permission, but need a better reason then 'I want to come in and shop, make people smile, make kids laugh, and bring more business to your mall.' Think about it, if you saw a suit running around at a mall, wouldn't you wanna go check him out and stuff? I didn't think like that till I had one guy ask me if I could wait like 10m for his friend to get there so they could see me XD
Anyways, Park City, went to their strip mall thing, with GAP and the Levi store and all that. That was fun as I did some parkour stuff.. which ended with my knee killing me. *DERP* Lesson of the day, just because it doesn't hurt then, does NOT mean its ok to train or practice...

Well, while in Park City we stopped at the Best Buy...and....I found my new little gizmo of awesome bliss... Intuos4. Picked it up, opened it and checked it out, compared it to a few others, finally choosing to stick with it as its what I have been really wanting. I also got a set of Skull Candy Skullcrushers. These little beasts are sick when used to listen to ....well hell...anything. Especially some dubstep!
So, two sweet new little gifts for myself. Combined with a great time, makes for a good week!

Wal-Mart anyone?
Posted 14 years agoSo, because going out fursuiting is fun...and everyone has to go shopping... Why not go shopping in suit, to try and just be -normal- about it? :D
Here you go! I took my fursuit to Wal-Mart and had a great time. 30ish minutes of of good times and getting to enjoy my suit. Now, I am ever so anxious to do more with it! Check it out, Wyoming actually has a sci-fi con!!!! I happen to know the one helping it get going, nestor2k. He saw my suit and was really excited and wanted me to go. So, in turn, I gladly said yes! This Con is just starting out so the more that come, the better!!
So, any other furries wish to join in? Short notice, its a week away, but I didn't even know till several hours ago myself.
I am going to get more info from nestor2k later tomor--- today, and then edit this one to be up to date. I hope someone can go! Would be -alot- of fun to have another suit running around with me :D

LAN party tonight, and the Wal-Mart trip were both nuts. Wal-Mart was such a crazy blast, I can't wait to do it again! Went shopping and >tried< to act normal, but so many waves, hellos, hugs, and high fives, it was difficult. Yet again though, even after having gotten permission to fill, the manage of the store was....rather upset I did not have a signed and authorized scrap of paypeh saying I could in fact film. But, oddly, again, they didn't say anything until we were about to leave, for this trip it was after about 5minutes of waiting in the check-out. Maybe they are hiding something at the front of the store.....hmm....
Went to LAN after taking foodstuffs home, got all fluffed up, walked in, and people were like, -wow-. More interaction as many knew it was me, but some didn't....some even demanded I take my suit off to see who I was. I said....'no' and they got pissed. One kid walked up and punched my nose...another tried to rip my tail off lol. Seriously parents, teach your kid manners. jeez. Both later apologized to avoid getting in trouble though ....but still. Also, showed off my noobish skills and ate a bit of a taco, and drank a Mt. Dew in suit. Everyone got a good laugh though.
So, another 2~ hours of photo to edits my way through, then I shall post my videos. I'm pretty excited to do it all.
I had fun. Made people laugh, smile, and have a good day. Several photos taken, several hugs.
I made people happy.

P.S. Little things do make me happy. Sometimes, the little things are actually pretty significant to me. Like a suit-idol shouting back, and/or subscribing to your youtube. Thank you coopertom for making my night even better!!!! <3

Anyways, this is the vid of my suit. Just got it yesterday, put it all on, then later put it back on after a shower and prep for St. Patty's Day.
Today we will be taking it out again...to a LAN party and more! Oh boy \o/ Wonder if my brother will be willing to record or not..hmmm

What makes a great day better? When you green fursuit shows up..and you take it to Wal-Mart...
Then you take just the sleeves and handpaws to a bar (smoke free!!!) and make 20 new friends..whom you know will totally forget you in the morning. Hahahahha
Tonight/yesterday was a lot of fun! I got to wear my suit, my first ever, during a time when the store wasn't horribly busy, so I was able to have a good time, and made a lot of people smile. Even had a few pics taken!
I am going to a LAN party tomorrow, and Wal-Mart....when its busier :D I can't wait ^_^
