so I AM still here, but I injured my drawing wrist and my obliques on the right side of my torso, so drawing has been a no-go. medication doesn't help, but I've just started some physio, so I might be okay to try drawing again in a few more weeks, who knows.

yes I know it's been a long time, like a couple of years. sorry if you've tried to contact me. my job and personal life have kept me busy and I genuinely haven't been drawing anything (except a bit during artfight month each year). I'm so tired. really tired

I've never really felt like a furry, so I've always had a hard time interacting with folks. but I want to try to maintain a presence somewhere, just to see how people are doing and maybe try some art. where are the people nowadays? bluesky? here? I have a personal tumblr but I could have a furry tumblr if that's where the people are

I'll be honest, I do have an ulterior motive, that being my car needs repairs which I can't afford, so I'm thinking about doing a YCH or something maybe. but I also miss having an internet community to lurk in. idk, my brain is all over the place these days

so, big news: I am officially launching a patreon! drawing is my full-time job now and patreon can offer a bit of financial stability, so I gotta go for it. the lowest payment tier is $2 a month and even that tier grants you access to all my future art at full size, several updates a week, and looks at my various WIPs as I work on stuff.

don't worry, I will NEVER stop posting finished art for free, here or on twitter. I see patreon as a way for people to show their support on a more financially manageable level than getting a full commission, while also having the chance to participate in deciding some of my content output, or (at higher tiers) to get deals on regular commissions. I would like to price things as fairly as possible while also being able to afford staying alive!

hey guys! first of all, thanks to everyone who's followed me and liked my art and *especially* those who have commissioned me! you made it possible to quit the job that was killing me and focus on art and I am so appreciative. I can finally start to heal and be a person again

unfortunately a few days ago my ulnar nerve in my arm was badly pinched from using my new tablet so I've had to take some time off from drawing to recover. I'm feeling better but am still queasy and it's really tender, it's a big problem. in the meantime I'm back to my old tablet and am only able to put in a couple hours of work a day but am slowly working away on the 3 commissions I owe. thanks so much for your patience!
