I am opening myself for Audio production or background/gaming/film score commissions.
Simply note me for a list of prices.

General | Posted 9 years agoSo my employers are letting me go cause they "Cant afford me" seems their definition of cant afford me is that I am not worth the money they are spending because they don't have enough for me to do, if you ask me those are two different things.
And they did in november, so I am hunting for a job at the worst possible time.
Starmade decided to not go with me cause they already had a composer WTF.
Then why did he say he was okay hearing my portfolio.
In any case, my life has been turned upside down once again.
If any of you know of someone who needs a guy with a Bachelors degree in marketing and Two 3 month internships from Dell let me know.

Better Days.
General | Posted 9 years agoSo, I got a new job as a personal assistant that pays way better, and gives me better hours.
The work is far more rewarding than my retail job and I am happy to have left that behind
As a result I will be posting the commissions i have gotten, starting with the ones I have gotten from my close friend
Zoru_Fox
Along with that I may end up doing the score for StarMade a video game currently in Early Release on Steam.
Think space minecraft. It's Awesome.
I will also be focusing on how to rework my recording process to produce better harmonies.
Thanks for all the new watches, you guys are great :3

Ignored.
General | Posted 10 years agoSo about a year ago I graduated college. I don't have a spectacular GPA, in fact you could say I have a crappy one. I so far have been able to get a total of 2 job offers, one of which I currently work, the other I turned down because my father told me I should, given the median range for the position I was offered.
The one I work is part time and is retail.
A year later I am still working retail, and my job search has yielded many interviews but no offers from any legitimate company.
I wonder if I am just terrible at interviewing, or if my experience looks good on paper but on further investigation my mind and it's capabilities are simply not worth investing money into.
My music career, after the formation of several failed bands, is yielding no results as it seems despite my best efforts, I cant get any of the songs I record to sound anywhere near radio ready, the worst part is that the thing that may be the problem may be one of the two things I've invested the most time and effort into when it comes to my musical skills; my voice.
I am also troubled by the fact that it feels like I can get very very few other talented musicians to take me seriously or even acknowledge me .
I have trouble singing harmonies it sounds like, or the songs when finally recorded, though nice, never live up to my vision.
I will be honest, I feel like my life is circling the drain.
My parents have had to subsidize my living expenses because I can't seem to land a decent job to save my life.
Also, one of the two things I love the most I may never be good enough at to make any money.
I need advice, encouragement, something, cause I don't know what to do anymore.

So, a friend let me borrow a book.
General | Posted 11 years agoI dont normally write book reviews on here, but
PepperCoyote did and although I am probably not as good at reviewing things, after reading this book I feel...compelled to write one.
The book was the novelization of the long awaited conclusion to what could be considered Andrew French, Scott Fabianek, Steve Domanski's masterpiece, Circles.
For those that don't know Circles was a Slice of Life comic about 6 gay men/furries living in a house together, what could be considered the lead character,( though equal panel time was given to almost all the characters),Paulie, has HIV.
From that point, the story is already interesting, and those that haven't read it yet shouldn't have it spoiled in some review. So I wont.
I will freely admit I am a fan of Circles' story, I admire stories that deal with subjects that are terrifying but neither vilify nor canonize the characters that deal with them. In the book and comics each character grows and fails in their own way, but enough about the story as a whole, the comics set a good base so let's leave it there.
The book concludes the story, and what shocked me was that I had been waiting over 5 years for the conclusion, and like many fans I built it up in my head expecting something extraordinary, what I was really doing was setting myself up for disappointment....
And it never came. I read the book with all the hype I had built up in my head and somehow, the book exceeded it.
A comment I read about the book said that the book dealt with such difficult subjects such as HIV with all the dignity and seriousness it deserves. This book dealt with almost everything with dignity. No character in the story was used as a one dimensional villain. No character was some cardboard cutout to be used and thrown away to illustrate a point. Perhaps that, among all the other things, the careful way the characters have a reason for the way they are, the way each character falls and gets back up like the rising and falling of a chest while breathing, is why I am singing the praises of this book so much.
The characters still felt real, the words and images placed upon those pages, which the comics used to bring those names and faces to such an animated life so vivid, that I can safely say I cannot ever forget them continued in the book even though it was mostly text.
Most importantly it concluded illustrating, perhaps not for the first time, that every life is as precious as the next, with or without STD's.
If you read the book on its own, you will probably like the characters a lot.
If you read the comics, then the book you will probably fall in love with them.
I did.

General | Posted 13 years agoMaybe I am crazy
Maybe I've lost my mind
Maybe its all for nothing
But you have touched me
you have changed my life
yes you of all the ones
have left a scar
an indelible mark
an unforgettable gash
that has cut me through and though
a blemish that I love
because it reminds me of you
because it reminds me of you
I have watched the years pass
With a simple careless air
Pretending I didn’t care
But then there was you
How you touched all of me
You crept into my life
So that I started to define
In a way I never knew
yes you of all the ones
have left a scar
an indelible mark
an unforgettable gash
that has cut me through and though
a blemish that I love
because it reminds me of you
because it reminds me of you
I tried to pretend to move on
I tried not to miss you
But I failed in every way
You crossed my mind every day

General | Posted 15 years agoOk this is a status update, for those of you that care.
Lesse, well my Sl avatar has been updated to its semi final version, possible minor upgrades later.
I have recently acquired ministry of rock by quantum leap and the lyrics to Just Another Day as well as the title will be updated soon, as well as the audio file.
I have been added to the roster of volunteers on the yiffthis site for those of you that know what that is
I have a new mate.
With the hiring of several new members to TasteFurr the SL company might finally get somewhere.
and i may possibly be the escort manager at the SL club The Cheshire.
I am also currently working on an SL porn Comic endeavor with my friend (possible name mention later if permission given)

General | Posted 16 years agoSo, let me preface by saying, this is a journal; it will not be censored or polite, it will be the blunt outpouring of thought, as a journal should be. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT.
So I was thinking about how I tie my shoes, or what it means.
"One string over the other, pull one through."
Ive always wondered if you can tell what someone is like by how they tie their shoes. Probably not.
"Make a loop with one end"
I know what is means for me, the reason why i do it the way I do it is simple, when I was younger I couldn't do the two loop method, too hard.
"Then taking the other end while still holding the loop"
I wonder what everyone else thinks about while tying their shoes.
"cross the end and the loop over each other"
Stupid corrupted FA audio....
"Take the middle of the end and pull through the hole just below where the loop and the end crossed, pull tight"
