Power has been stable for more than 24 ours now so I finally plugged my computer back in. And this means I can return to working on digital art again!
Expect to see some new stuff including the completed YCH soon!

I am currently at  pigbat07's apartment charging my devices and taking in the A/C as long as I can while typing this.

The hurricane has mostly passed me by now. There's only a few wind gusts left so all that is left is dealing with all the damage it left behind.

Luckily by the time it hit my area it's power was greatly diminished so my house is structurally sound. But due to the many hours of rain and wind many tree limbs have scattered along the yard and roof of the house. And several trees have fallen. I have spent most of the day trying to clear out the space but there is so much to clean!

Also thanks to all the rain and wind we have lost power last night and we do not expect power back until later this week. That is as long as Jose stays away. This will mean that commissions will continue to be on hold until then.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Is freaking enormous and even if the eye misses Florida entirely (which is unlikely at this point) I will still be hit by it. Fortunately I am not in a flood zone, but I am expecting myself to lose power... And maybe a window. This will mean I will be going quiet for some time until power can be restored.

I am currently pushing to get as much of the Snaketember YCH done and sent out to the winners before the tropical storm level winds hit me. And all commissions will unfortunately be put on hold until the storm has passed.
Once the winds pick up I will be unplugging my desktop and moving it to a more secure area of the house along with my gaming systems just in case a tree decides it wants to try and fall into my room again. As such I will only be able to sketch during that time.

I am very sorry to make those on my queue wait. I shall endeavor to make it up once my computer is back up and running after the storm.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. It has been fairly busy over here.

The new bi-monthly theme for August and September is going to be macro/micro characters. All art containing this theme will receive a 15% discount.

I have returned from my family reunion and it was soooo busy! I clearly underestimated how large my family is and what we were going to do this past week.
As such I unfortunately did not get any arting done. But I have such a need to draw now! If nothing comes up I plan to stream and work on a few commissions and the last couple of trades I owe on Sunday~

Thanks to my awesome friend  pigbat07 I have a job interview tomorrow. I really hope it goes well & I get the job! Even though it will make my already slow arting slower, the steady income will be awesome!

Also, I have decided on the next sale theme for the months of August and September. Instead of a single species, the sale will focus on the macro/micro themes! I've been itching to dive into a macro/micro piece for a while now and what better way than make a sale out of it.
However this will mean that the piece would need a detailed background and/or multiple characters to be applicable for the sale. Depending on demand I may open up the sale theme to include the hyper fetish so those that only wish to commission one character may have a chance to participate. But that part is still up in the air at this moment. I shall decide for sure if it will be a part of the sale by Tuesday.


Since I have not finished anything during the week I was out and I feel guilty about it, I'll be putting up a couple images that have been sitting in my hard drive for at least half a year to make up for it~
One of which will be another adopt of a character design I created a while back but never got too attached to. I hope it finds good use with someone else.
Also on the subject of adoptables, I am lowering the price of the sea snake naga girl I posted last month as seen here from $50 USD to $40 USD. If she still doesn't sell I'll try again to fit her in with my other characters as her design is very lovely.

SO MUCH STUFF HAPPENED

A heads up to my commissioners, owed trades and active watchers. I'm gonna be out for a week for a family thing starting Friday. I will bring an old surface I was given, so with that and my sketchbook I will continue to work on my owed art. However I would not be able to work on any of the more colorful pieces while I'm there for obvious reasons.

Also I cannot promise how far I can get with any given piece while over there. I've only played around with the surface for a few hours & I'm still trying to get a hang of the way it works & all it's little bugs. Like not wanting to calibrate itself after a dozen attempts at using the onboard calibration tools. I also do not know if I will have internet connection up there so I may not be able to post any art during that time. If anyone has any suggestions to work around that, it would be much appreciated.

So this is a bit late, all entirely my fault. With working on a surprise thing for a friend's birthday, being with friend for said birthday and lots of shenanigans I sadly did not get to writing this up sooner.

So it's is a very weird experience going through a tropical storm and not losing power for at least a day, but I am not complaining.

Luckily the hurricane veered East before the brunt of the bands hit Central Florida, lowering the strength of them. So there isn't much damage here aside from lots of fallen tree branches and flooding in low-lying areas.

As per usual I'm expecting power to go out and cell towers to go haywire for a day or two so I will not likely be able to work on commissions or contact clients during this time.

Hurricanes are nothing new to me. I've been through them my entire life down in Miami and Orlando is much more inland so the storm's strength will be greatly diminished compared to there.
I'm only sad that this will seriously hinder my ability to watch all them superhero shows on Netflix if power does go out. That and kill any chances of finding a Charizard in Pokémon Go.
