A Little Pause

First off, thank you for all of the amazing feedback we've been getting! We're so glad that so many of you fine furs and not-so-furred folks have been supporting us! I am afraid, though, that we have some slightly sad news.
Some of you may not realize this but our ultimate purpose is forming a store. The art and stories we keep putting up, the characters we make, that's all sort of advertising (and because we love doing it!) but the store has taken longer than anticipated to get up. What this means is, for over a year we've been spending a lot of money on all of this art and writing you've been seeing but making no money.
This is not a complaint! If we could afford to we'd be giving you free art and stories every single day just because we love doing it and love seeing your reactions! But it does mean that if there's a real-life issue, this project gets effected. And that's happening at the moment.
Unless one of our artist friends does some charity I'm afraid the Askblog on tumblr is going to be paused. Those artists need to focus on paid work and for at least a month we won't be able to afford their time. We also won't be able to get any new commissions during this time, though we do have ones already in the works and some art built up that we haven't posted yet, which we will be dropping over time.
robur will still be writing and there should be another new story this month. In fact, one to two stories should be up each month from now on. Don't go away on us, folks! There's still stuff for us to share with you! And we're using this time to focus on getting our store set up, which should keep this from being an issue in the future. We just want to apologize in advance for the relative slow down we'll be experiencing.

So, we're starting an Ask Blog on that Tumblr thing. We'll be getting art for it done by akimoriaoi, whom you may remember was doing our daily sketches last year, once a week. We'll be starting, oh... next week probably. I'll give you all a link once it's up and running. And yes, we'll be reposting all of our responses right here.
But! The thing about an ask blog is we can only do half the work. For this to happen we need you to send us questions! If we don't get enough questions we'll just draw some crap or make up fake questions or something, I dunno, but holy crap do I want you guys to ask questions!
For now you can post questions right in here or send robur a note or e-mail, or whatever, really. We're not picky on how you ask just so long as you do ask. You can see our list of characters here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6743548/ and if there's someone you remember but you don't see them on that list, go ahead and ask anyway, we'll figure out who you meant!

We Will Be At Anthrocon

I know there's been some concern about Anthrocon. As many of you have probably heard, this year Anthrocon is not allowing any merchandise specifically made for sexual use. This doesn't impact pornography but it does impact things like dildos. There's been a lot of concern from people we've talked to that this rule would keep us from selling at the con. In fact, it's not even uncommon for our merchandise photos to get reported here due to a similar rule on photos.
First off, please stop reporting those photos. We've had permission from day one. First off, things like cuffs and collars aren't for sex only. People where that shit all the time. Even with things like floggers, those aren't really used for sex. Even if you disagree with this... well, we have permission. We're ok, guys.
Same with Anthrocon; while we will be sure not to push any lines of acceptability we are being allowed to sell our merchandise there. No worries! Come see us! We'll be in the dealer's room rocking our shit!

Back on the Horse (so to speak)

First, we'd like to apologize for the downtime. After Christmas we decided to take a bit of a break to get our affairs all in order ( robur's move across the country not helping any) but then we sort of... stayed on break a little too long. We did not intend to go dead this long.
Here's some good news, though: we haven't actually been idle during this time. Besides, conventions (you might have seen our table at FWA, for instance) we've still been commissioning artwork all this time and Robur will be posting a new story today or tomorrow. Starting today we'll be posting this backlogged art on and off.
We'll be starting akimoriaoi's daily sketches in a little while as well and there'll be two other big surprises in the near future. First, for a month we'll be having a very popular artist doing regular work for us on a special deal, and we'll be posting our first comic once it's all finished! So keep checking back, there'll be plenty to do!
