Free art - pet portrait (closed)
General | Posted 12 years agoYes, it is already time for free art again :D I got to draw a gorgeous dog that belongs to 
and really loved it :) I thought I could offer pet portrait commissions, but I want to practice first. So I'll draw (at least) one free fullbody pet portrait. (And I REALLY should also draw my own pet ;-; I have such an awesome model for practice at home and don't use it...)
How to participate:
Post a photo of your pet (or domestic animal) in the comments. Only good photos, please (not blurry, not too dark or too bright etc). You can post multiple photos if you want. Preferably full body, but not necessary.
How will I chose:
Sorry, this one will not be random. I will chose photo/pet I like most and draw that. At least one (but might do more).
Deadline: I'll close this up after a day or two, so hurry :)

Why do you watch me? What do you want to see me draw (more)?
General | Posted 12 years agoHi! I got lots of new watchers in a month now - more than 100 new ones, which is a lot since I had less than 50 before. Most of you probably found me through ad I had, some of you probably because of all the art I was posting (I draw every day now and because of that I post much more).
So I was wondering - what made you watch me? My paintings? My lined art? My studies (those quick realism paintings I do)?
What would you want to see me draw (more)? Any specific animals? More realistic things? More fantasy things? More anthros? Anything else?
What don't (wouldn't) you like seeing?
And I have another question. Do you like that I'm one of the artists that doesn't draw adult art? Do you watch me also because you get lots of non-adult, non-fetish art from me? Or do you think my gallery seriously lacks something like this?
There is a conflict of interests in me... I would like to only draw tame art, but on the other hand, money is a serious issue for me right now. Would you order an adult commission from me, if I offered them? Would you have big enough wish for it even if I would offer them only at a raised price and have restrictions to it (meaning I wouldn't draw anything anyone would think of)?
If I chose to do that, I would make a new account for this kind of art. I don't want those who like tame art to have to watch things they don't like.

2013 was quite a boring year for me... I was trying to figure out which path to follow with my life. And I kinda possibly figured it out... At least for shorter period of time. And it's: DO MORE ART! That means drawing every day as much as I can, get more involved into art community and do more advertising. I have to try to get more commissions anyways. My "new" computer is dead, I work on my old one and I doubt it's going to live for much longer. It already has some problems.
I made myself tumblr not long ago and decided to post something there every day. I didn't stick to that 100% because of broken computer, but in future, I hope I will. I will be posting there daily, also probably some things I won't be posting here. So if you want to see everything, you can see it here: http://evriale.tumblr.com/

Nooooo... My computer :'(
General | Posted 12 years agoI was working on secret Santa drawing today for about 3 hours. I was really pleased with how it was going :)
I took a break, searched through internet... Then I went away from my computer and when I got back, I saw come weird colorful lines running across the screen on white background. Then the ventilator started to go faster and faster, like it wanted to take off. And then I heard scratching and held the button to shut it off. Luckily, it worked and now I'm afraid to turn it back on.
It's less than a year old. And it wasn't cheap. My husband talked me into buying a good, expensive computer, we had problems with it before - main is that for last couple of months it was constantly opened because the metal that was holding the joints wasn't good enough and pieces of it were constantly breaking. Maybe what happened is because of this.
I'm now on my old computer, Which is 5 or 6 years old and has some problems too (biggest is that backspace and enter are not working >:( ), but at least I have something.
I really hope I can at least get stuff from my old one back... :'(
My half-done secret Santa and a big Christmas gifts project is now stuck on my computer :(
Edit: I disassembled and reassembled computer, started it.. And it acts as nothing happened. Well, I hope this was a one-time thing (although I doubt that)

100 themes project
General | Posted 12 years agoIt was 1 year since I was drawing - and I'm determined to start again. I started with an art that was requested at forums and I need more to do - so I decided I'll try with 100 themes project (my imagination is my worst enemy). Goal: at least 1 per day, doesn't matter if sketch or fully colored. You can even join - have a character and an idea what would fit great with a certain theme? I may do it (for free) :) But I will be doing them in order as they are written - so it's best if you chose one near top :) And I will do the drawing of my choosing (from loose sketch to fully detailed drawing), when I decide to do it and will be done in spare time, when I will not have commissions to do.

Buried in work
General | Posted 13 years agoI have so much work right now that I would need 48 hours in a day for next few days to be able to do everything... I was really tired for last few days since I can't even get enough sleep because of work...
I have birthday in Sunday and the day after the exams start... So I should seriously study (won't have much time during the weekend because b-day and easter). But I am running REALLY late with my commissions... Especially with a big painting commissioned by friends for a friend... I seriously doubt I will even be able to finish it in time... And I have lots of work with wedding preparations-I have it in less than 4 months and this week was mostly spent making and delivering wedding invitations. I had no time doing commissions (I'm really sorry, commissioners :( ).
So I doubt I will pass any exam since I won't really study, but try to catch up on my delayed work... Luckily I don't have much drawings to finish at the time, so commissions are still open (I also have iron artist commissions opened).

General | Posted 14 years agoTo all that awaits new art from me (especially commissioners)-I'm really sorry I have been so inactive lately, I had exam period. Luckily, it's finally over and I am really happy that I have time to draw again :)
I will have to finish my commissions first (and yay for finally working on my traditional commission (it's been a LOOONG time since drawing last traditional commish...)), then it's time for art trades I owe (some are waiting for a really long time for that :/ ) and then I think I'll open iron artist commissions :)
