An Empty Village
General | Posted 8 months agoThis is a small and s̵͙̩̒̊̕p̴̡̈́̈́̋͌̀͜ͅͅơ̴͙̼͊̔o̸͍͖̙͖̗͌͗͗̆k̸̨̲̲̠̲̓ẏ̵̧̟͓̙̰̈̏̌͝ update on my Minecraft adventure.
Things were going rather well up until recently - progress on the mansion (a project I now regret pursuing before the fortification of the village) was going well, and I'd learned that you could peel the bark from trees/wood blocks, which resulted in some experimental interior design. The village was also doing well - there had been no major monster attacks, and the villagers were breeding, resulting in a handful of children who I'd often see wandering around the outskirts of the village proper as I gathered wood and the like for my project.
And then, without any warning, all but one of the villagers vanished.
I'd like to say that this is the part where Herobrine started to appear to me in dreams or that one of the villagers' homes was built upon the entrance to a deep, dark mine where something terrible had finally awoken from its hibernation and fed upon the poor souls that had so foolishly built their home atop its resting place... but after some brief research, it's more likely that a fairly common bug caused the mass vanishing, and that no fiend or spectre was involved in the matter. I admit that, at first, I was unsettled - the village was on the larger side, and suddenly finding it empty, save for a single farmer who continued to tend his crop, had my mind cooking up all sorts of eerie ideas. But as I continued to build my home, which faced the village itself, I became increasingly disheartened - the whole reason I'd decided to build my home (or base, I suppose) so close to the village was so that I could improve and fortify the village later, but now that all but one of its residents are gone, including the iron golem, the endeavour feels pointless.
I will mourn for my Squidwardian friends.
Anyway - my mansion will remain unfinished, and I will search for another village - and this time, I will prioritise its fortification before building my own home, which I will place some distance away to hopefully prevent another 'vanishing'.
So yeah, that is how my Minecraft journey is going so far. It's honestly quite a bit of fun, and I'm pleased to see that, despite the many changes, Minecraft still retains that slightly unsettling vibe.
Unrelated, but I found this video this morning and 'ME WANT BITE' has been stuck in my head - now, I share the curse with YOU: https://youtu.be/Kbjvb9t3_yU?si=bGI7mG4SJdAgTcmh

Assignment Risk
General | Posted 9 months agoSo, after a few friends recommended it to me, I started reading Assignment Risk by Alephkeller.
I'm ten or so chapters in, and though I do find the story interesting and well-written, I've come to hate the Daxy.
I started out thinking they were interesting, but as more and more information was revealed about them (specifically what happened during the final few months of the war between humanity and the Daxy), I've come to hate them, at least most of them. What is written below will contain spoilers, so beware.
So, in the final months of the war, the Daxy soldiers under the command of Colonel Axla began to rape the men they captured during battles, and these men are described as crying out for God's mercy as it happened to them. It's then implied that these men were FORCED to marry (or rather, were claimed or assigned) to their rapists and presumably became OK with the arrangement after prolonged exposure to the Daxy propaganda and pheromones or after undergoing reeducation (I am still not sure exactly what this entails, as I stated - I've not yet finished the first story), and that's not even mentioning that the men who had wives were gas lit (if we are to assume the viewpoint held by Administrator Pax is the norm) into believing that their previous relationships were abusive and wrong and that human men are better off with Daxy partners while the women are left to die out on Mars.
So far, the prison on Mars has only been mentioned, not shown, but the way it's been discussed presents it as unpleasant, or at the very least, a gilded cage.
And let's not even talk about the pheromone injector thing - it has only been mentioned once, but the fact that it makes men have suicidal tendencies if they're separated from their new mate after being injected and that it more or less permanently alters their personality/brain and is only seen as being TABOO rather than outright detestable says a lot about how Daxy view things.
Honestly, so far the only character I've connected with is Finn - he literally attempted to kill himself after being assigned to a Daxy mate and continues to point out the shady nature of Daxy society/their hypocritical shit, but Miles and Rax keep blowing him off/treating him as if he's stupid for not just going with the flow, with Rax going as far as to taunt him by stating that he must secretly WANT to be raped by a Daxy because the 'loudest males want it the most' or something to that effect.
Also, while homosexuality was mentioned once as a joke in an earlier chapter, I am curious to see if that topic rears its head again and how the Daxy deal with it. At this point, I'd not be surprised if they simply state that gay men are 'confused' and then proceed to have them undertake reeducation or expose them to pheromones to be 'fixed' before assigning them to a Daxy partner.
Maybe my view of the Daxy will change as the story progresses. I am enjoying it and want to see how it ends, but I'm struggling to understand why people LIKE the Daxy rather than REVILE them. Of course, not ALL Daxy are responsible for what happened in the war, or the relocation/possible genocide of human women, but MOST of them seem OK with it as if it was just something that HAD to be done and that there was no other option.
Am I just a grumpy contrarian bitch taking the (very well-written) fetish story too seriously? - Maybe...
But yeah, again—I am enjoying the fic; I just don't see Daxy in the same light as seemingly everyone else, lmao.

Minecraft
General | Posted 9 months agoI recently started playing Minecraft again.
I played it a long time ago on the Xbox 360, and it has changed a lot. I knew about some things, like the bees and that they'd tweaked the Nether, but there is SO much that I knew nothing about. Though I am enjoying the game, I can't help but feel a tad overwhelmed and out of the loop.
Currently, I'm in the process of building a mansion (we'll see how that goes) near a village, which I plan to fix as there are a few broken paths/wonky farm placement, and once I have things running smoothly, I'll fortify it to protect against the weird hostile villagers/terrible creatures of the night. I was surprised at how the villages look now - back when I played, they looked like a small spattering of houses that looked more like a squatter's camp than a settlement, but this time around, the villages actually look like... well, villages! They're actually quite cosy, too, and I can't help but feel protective (or perhaps possessive?) of the squidwardian natives.
They even have little outfits that change depending on their job, which is adorable.
Anyway, in the creative spirit of Minecraft, I might save for some Minecraft-themed commissions after my current projects are finished up and posted (I am VERY excited to share the Predator piece - it's coming along wonderfully), maybe something featuring an Enderman, as they're my favourite of the 'old' mobs, I love how alien they are, and that they're aren't explicitly evil like the zombies, skeletons, etc. They're just doing their own weird thing.
If not them, it'll likely be some sort of spider-themed piece. I've always thought the Minecraft spiders were cute, despite how often they seem to jumpscare me by dropping from trees.
Bleh - Sorry for the long and rambly journal, I am very tired and plan to sleep soon after posting this. Just shooting my thoughts out of my brain and into the void that if the FA journal system lmao
But yeh, Minecraft is pretty good. Got me feeling all nostalgic and cosy.

Birthday + Predator Project
General | Posted 10 months agoOioi
I am one year closer to the forever box - hurray!
I don't really have anything planned - I might have some drinks later and watch Alien: Romulus again, which is streaming now. I liked it quite a bit when I went to see it at the cinema, despite the atrocious Marvel-esque references to the previous movies scattered throughout an otherwise fantastic movie. I might order pizza, too.
My creeping closer to blissful non-existence aside, I'm working on a Predator-themed project that should be ready to go a little later this month. I am once again working with Sketchy Joe, a wonderful artist I've worked with often in the past, so I'm very excited to see how things turn out. This will (hopefully) be the first part of multiple Predator-themed pieces, as I intend for the character to be my mascot or 'sona' for the time being.
I've never considered myself a part of the furry fandom itself; I'm really just here because I have some good friends who are furries, and I enjoy the artwork (both SFW and NSFW), and I've always leant more into the sci-fi/monster-y side of things, so a big grumpy hung Yautja bitch seems like a good fit for me lol
Having a Yautja (that name really is rather silly) character also means I get to create a skull wall/trophy room, and you can bet your sweet bippy I'm going to do that at some point, so look forward to that.
Anyway, that's really all I wanted to say. I have some other things in the works, too, which should be ready to share before the end of the month.

Scary DOOM
General | Posted 10 months agoMaybe I'm just being a grumpy bitch, but does anyone else miss when DOOM was scary?
I know that 'scary' is a subjective term, but the original games had a spooky atmosphere, at least as much as the primitive graphics could allow. - And DOOM 3, for all its faults, was pretty frightening at times, especially in the later levels/Hell segments.
The new DOOM games, however, feel more like fantasy action games with sci-fi elements, especially the latest entry.
I'm not saying that the new games are bad, of course, or that the original games are better - we're all into different shit, and I'm not going to tell people that they shouldn't be having fun, lol; I just miss when DOOM had a more overt horror theme to it.
Anyway, my 'hot take' aside, I should have some more art to post soon-ish, some inspired by an old game I've been playing quite a bit (not DOOM) and another that leans into the spooky/body horror side of things, so keep your peepers peeled for those!

Baldur's Gate 3
General | Posted 11 months agoA close friend recently convinced me to buy Baldur's Gate 3, and I've been playing it a lot.
Been playing as a Lolth-sworn Drow, and I'm having a good time being an evil/snarky spider-loving bitch. I was also surprised at how graphic some of the romance scenes are, and I can only imagine how the pearl clutchers who cried about Mass Effect 1's tame romance scenes would have reacted had this game been released back then.
Once I finish this playthrough, which may take me forever because I play these sorts of games like a snail with kleptomania, I plan to go back and play a loveable scoundrel pirate half-orc, who you may see pop up in artwork eventually, as she's a character I've been using elsewhere for a while.
I may also get some Lolth art, because scary spider women are hot.
But yeah, playing some Baldur's Gate. Good shit.

Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie
General | Posted 12 months agoGod, what a great game that was back on the original Xbox. I remember being so enamoured with it that I beat it in a single night and re-played it numerous times, exploring every inch of every level and exploring all the various bonus features, like the in-game museums, the alternate ending, and even the mirrored (I'm not sure how else to put it) mode. I also watched the hell out of the movie, which, for all its faults (and there are a few), I still love to this day.
I was quite excited to re-play the game, but I found that it is no longer sold digitally, which is a shame. I might pick up a physical copy soon; I have that itch.
Anyway, I'm thinking about getting some King Kong-themed art after the holidays, specifically of the Venatosaurus and Vastatosaurus rex, two severely underrated dinosaurs from the movie and game that deserve far more love. I might also get a piece featuring the 'queen' Terapusmordax from the game, which terrified me as a kid, lol.
Random journal is random. I had an exhausting weekend/start to the week, and I kind of want to crawl into a hole and sleep until Christmas.
Bleh.

Blade II Spoilers + System Message...
General | Posted a year ago"You cannot favorite a submission by someone who has blocked you."
Well, dang! That's one way to find out you've been blocked.
I'm not upset by this, and I respect that others have the right to block people for any reason. I suppose I'm more confused than anything else.
I don't talk to people on here much, if at all, due to being a bit of a recluse and not having the best social skills. My infrequent journals are usually quite brief and little more than status updates/idea dumps, so I can't imagine it's something I've said. My only guess is that it has something to do with my previous uploads, the fantastic Mars Attacks! pieces I got last month, which were a little gorier/darker than the stuff I usually upload, and thus might've spooked some people who aren't keen on that sort of content.
I think a proper blacklist feature or some way to mark uploads with a warning, like how Twitter sometimes automatically blurs NSFW images and only shows them after you click on the 'view anyway' button, or whatever it's actually called, would prevent stuff like this from happening.
Anyway, this was just something that caught me off-guard, so I figured I'd do a journal.
Unrelated to this, I'll be uploading some Rick and Morty-themed stuff soon, and my current icon can give you a hint as to what you can expect to see!
I also have plans for some Oldhammer Tyranid stuff, though I'm still getting all the details written up, as it's proving to be a large project.
Speaking about bugs, I recently bought and started playing Gears of War on my Xbox, a series of games I've played in parts over the years but never actually sat down and played from start to finish. I kind of love it. I'm playing it on hardcore, which is proving to be a fun challenge. The designs of the Locust and their creatures are a LOT of fun. Maybe after I've beaten the first game, I'll get some GoW-themed art; I was disappointed to find that there's a severe shortage of hot BDSM-themed Locust gals/beasties on the internet, so I may have to take matters into my own perverted hands to mend this injustice.
I'm coming to realise that if hot aliens ever invade Earth (whether they be from space or the vast network of underground tunnels that the government insists aren't actually full of hot lizard people), I'd pull a Norman Reedus from Blade II and sell out my own species in a heartbeat.
It's late, so I will post this and get something to eat before going to sleep or maybe play some more GoW until I pass out; we'll see.
Ciao~

Alien: Romulus - Tiny Spoilers?
General | Posted a year agoI went to see Alien: Romulus recently, and while I think it was FAR better than Covenant, a movie that rustled my jimmies something fierce, there's one thing about it that I hate.
All of the callbacks and references.
I wouldn't have cared if it'd been one or two cheeky little callbacks, but it felt as if there were one every ten or fifteen minutes, with the most egregious and out-of-place example being when one character uses Ripley's famous 'Get away from her, you bitch!' line, but it feels so out of place and is delivered in such an awkward way that it ends up being comical and nonsensical.
Bleh.
Callbacks aside, I did enjoy the rest of the movie, and I thought the way they tied it into Prometheus was interesting. Honestly, at this point, I think the Alien movies should be anthological instead of focusing on a single storyline, with different directors giving us their take on things or exploring other aspects of the universe that aren't focused on the xenomorphs, such as life on a Weyland-Yutani colony (as the brief glimpse we got in Romulus was fantastic) or the exploits of the Colonial Marines as they go around kicking ass.
Anyway, I guess that's my 'review' of the movie lmao, and totally not just my dumbass ramblings.
I'm feeling much better now, too. I'm not sure what I had, but it seems to be out of my system. I should also have more art to share soon, something very niche (and somewhat gruesome) that fans of old trading cards and Tim Burton movies might appreciate!

ALIENs...
General | Posted a year agoI've got a small collection of ALIEN-related commissions that I've been meaning to share, so I'll be posting them later today.
Not feeling as terrible as I have been either, so that's nice.

Bad Habits + The Hackening
General | Posted a year agoBad Habits
I've come to realise that I have a bad habit of reaching out to an artist regarding commissions, only to then forget I've done that. I was going through my Twitter (I refuse to call it 'X' because that's a dumb fucking name) messages and noticed that I'd reached out to a couple of artists some time ago regarding projects. Granted, these conversations didn't progress beyond me asking for details regarding prices and such, so no actual work had begun, and no money had exchanged hands, but I know that it can still be frustrating for the artists and I can't help but feel bad about it. This is certainly a bad habit and one that I need to work on breaking sooner rather than later.
Just know that if I've reached out to you and have not responded for a while, it's not deliberate; my memory is atrocious, and I am easily distracted.
So yeah, that's my bad habit. I figured I'd speak about it here because the only other option was the local church's confessional booth, and I'm sure the priest has better things to do than listen to my goofy ass.
The Hackening
I'll admit that I don't really consider myself a member of the 'furry fandom' proper, and I've never really understood the hubbub that happens when FA is hacked, as it happens relatively often, but I agree that this most recent ordeal was in very poor taste, given the passing of the site's owner. I'm pleased that the site wasn't down for too long, however, and I find it hilarious that the perpetrator managed to get themselves doxxed and also piss off Kiwi Farms after attempting to flex the size of their e-dick despite being little more than a script kiddie with too much free time on their hands.
I've also heard rumours that they lost a lot of money, which would only make it funnier if that's true.

Project Updates + Ideas
General | Posted a year agoHello!
I'm pleased to announce that I'll have some art featuring a super underrated character coming out soon. I am very excited to share it with you all, as the artist working on the project has done an amazing job so far. I may also have some more Serious Sam-related pieces to share, so look out for those!
The DOOM project is still something I intend to pursue SOON - I've just not gotten around to collecting all the required reference material yet, but hopefully, I'll get everything sorted out soon. I've had far less free time than I'd like, and between IRL obligations and other projects, it's been difficult to juggle everything.
There are also ongoing projects from earlier this year/late last year that will hopefully be finished soon.
But yeah, that's all for this update!
Ideas
These are some VERY basic ideas for future projects. I figured I'd share them here to get some feedback and see which ideas you'd like to see.
Note that these aren't ideas I'd be ready to pursue in the near future, but later in the year when things aren't so hectic.
I am also open to suggestions, so if you have any kinky/strange ideas of your own, feel free to share them with me!
Idea 1: An idea inspired by the Terminator movies featuring a line-up of skeletal femme fatales. A strong 80s/90s vibe.
Idea 2: More Tyranids, because space bugs are hawt. Alternatively, a line-up of Terminids from Helldivers, because why the hell not?
Idea 3: A set of Jurassic Park-themed pieces featuring some VERY inaccurate portrayals of dinosaurs because making palaeontologists cry is fun.
Idea 4: A set of Cloverfield-themed pieces featuring the titular monster and its gnarly little parasites, who make the BEST monster sounds EVER: https://youtu.be/gRzjSsXw9PU?si=QPQZRAVPpd_atqDW&t=100
Idea 5: A project featuring more of the Xenomorphs from the Kenner line of toys.
Idea 6: A set featuring some of the Chimera from Resistance: Fall of Man.
Idea 7: Half-Life-themed commission featuring some sexed-up Combine. Also maybe an Antlion-themed piece?
Idea 8: Cyberpunk 2077-inspired piece because I've been enjoying that game quite a bit.
Idea 9: Metro 2033-inspired project featuring a line-up of mutants.
Idea 10: A line-up of creatures featured in the online stick figure series 'Castle', which I watched a ton.
Idea 11: An X-Com/Xenonauts-inspired line-up of various alien babes with a strong femdom theme.
Idea 12: Sexy gray aliens, because X-Files is a hell of a drug.
Annnnd that's it, or rather, that's all I'm willing to write here, as this journal is already awfully long lmao. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Xbox
General | Posted 2 years agoI bought an Xbox X recently, and I've been enjoying it quite a bit. I've not owned a console in years, and I am predominantly a PC user when it comes to games, but I forgot how nice it is to buy a game without stressing about specs and other bullshit. I've been playing 'ALIENs Dark Descent', which is a good bit of fun, and I plan to try Cyberpunk soon, too, so I'm looking forward to that.
Anyway, Xbox aside, I have some art projects lined up for March! One is Half-Life focused, and the other is a DOOM project!
I am still collecting reference material and writing up details for the DOOM project. I honestly should have sent them out sooner, but between my B-Day break and life being generally busy, I've not had much time lmao.
I may have other stuff to share before those projects get off the ground, but we'll see how it goes.
So yeah, that's what's going on at the moment.
Ciao for now!

But seriously, I am back from my B-Day break!
I spent the last week unplugged and vibing; it was a good time. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

Cult of the Lamb
General | Posted 2 years agoI picked up Cult of the Lamb as it's currently on sale, and I've been having a lot of fun with it despite roguelike games not usually being my favourite.
The trailers are super cute too - makes me wish they'd make a show about adorable woodland animals doing blasphemous acts: https://youtu.be/U8Mo1tHKYX0?si=F0yh7FGJBO14G-pW
After my current projects are finished, I might get some Cult of the Lamb-themed art.
~ANYWAY~
Lambs and their cults aside, I won't be around much early to mid-February, as my birthday is coming up. I'll be back later in the month.
I have a few projects in the works at the moment and a few more planned for March, so keep an eye out for those!

Merry Christmas + 1300 Favourites
General | Posted 2 years agoI hope you all have/are having a good Christmas!
I'd also like to thank everyone who has favourited the pieces I upload here. It's nice to know that other people enjoy the things I upload, and though I do not thank everyone who does, know that I truly appreciate it.
That's all for now, ciao!

Unexpected Expenses
General | Posted 2 years agoMinor update: I had an unexpected expense crop up.
It's nothing serious; it just means a minor delay in payments. I will be ready to resume after Christmas/the holidays.

Artist Spotlight: SmuttyW
General | Posted 2 years agoI've not done this before, but I want to bring attention to a fantastic artist who deserves far more attention.
recently started posting art here again, and as I now have a modest number of watchers (which I very much appreciate, despite my not being super sociable) I wanted to draw some attention to their works. I personally like their BoJack Horseman pieces, as I'm a BIG fan of that show.
I hope this journal will drive some watchers their way and help them develop a following, allowing them to continue their artistic endeavours.
They also have a Patreon, where you can see more of their artwork: https://www.patreon.com/SmuttyW/posts

What Is Goblins?
General | Posted 2 years agohttps://youtu.be/raD2kxzhJbU?si=dz-8F-NKizU4ZCmK
While the Serious Sam project is underway and going VERY well, I'm also toying with the idea of creating a goblin character inspired by the works of a fantastic artist who makes wonderfully creative pieces featuring dwarven groin beards and kinky gobbos. You can find their work here:
I have nothing concrete at the moment, but I'm leaning towards an ooky spooky fungal-themed necromancer, maybe even a follower of Gurmgh, the Mother of all Goblindom! She'll likely have a dong because that's just how I roll. This likely won't happen for a while, but it's a future project that I'm quite excited about and figured I'd share my idea in an effort to be a tad more social on here.
That's pretty much it. Just sharing my thoughts.

More ALIENs
General | Posted 2 years agoI will be posting the second batch of 'ALIENs: Armageddon' art tonight!
After that, there'll be one last piece of ALIENs art to come before I start on the Serious Sam project, which I'm awfully excited about.
Also, it's crazy that almost three hundred peeps are watching my page. I'm glad others enjoy the artwork I commission.

Serious Refs!
General | Posted 2 years agoI'm not at home at the moment, taking some time to de-stress and figure out a few things, so I'm making this journal from my OLD ASS laptop that overheats like a bitch and makes a horrible ticking noise.
I'll be posting a handful of Serious Sam reference images tonight, with more to come over the next few days as I get to them.
The images will feature the following creatures:
Aludran Reptiloid (Common & Highlander)
Witch Harpy
Werebull
Marsh Hopper
Electro-Fish
Beheaded Firecracker (Xbox)
Arachnoid (Juvenile & Adult)
I hope you (and those who eventually stumble across them!) will find these images helpful for your Serious Sam projects.
And sorry to those of you trying to reach me on Twitter, Discord, or via notes here. I'm not in the right headspace for social stuff at the moment. If things go well, I'll be back to my regular schedule next week!
