Blender Fur/Scales
Posted 5 years agoAnybody got some good hints or links for fur/scales in Blender? I know there's older stuff, but it would help if there were anything post 2.80.

Posted 17 years agoSo one day I spawn and there's this MySpacey looking dude selling his Gateway FX4710 for $800 on eBay-b-bay. I'm not so sure I want to "buy it now" because in MySpace, no one can hear you scream. But $800 is a total score, so I totally dollar-sign-eyeball myself that suckafoo. But it turns out that he is a spy and he starts sappin' and the whole thing goes bust. So I pick up the parts (my $800 back) and hunt for some more metal on newegg so I can try it again. No more spies this time, okay?
So even though newegg has this terrible symbol for a "Blazing Deal!":

I assemble some miscellaneous parts that I'm hoping will all work together and start banging on everything with my wrench. I eventually get something that turns on briefly, but the fan that keeps the processor from looking like that blazing deal logo kicks the whole thing in the blazing deal logo (I reach 212°F). I wrench it a few more times and eventually the plastic fan screws feel abused enough that they go into place.
...and now I have a fully assembled rig built so long as there aren't any proficient spies or Überrushes.

3.16 GHz fan frustration device
8 GB click-into-place memory
2 GB Radeon HD 4870 X2 room heating unit (and space occupier)
Creative SB X-Fi XtremeGamer neighbor waker
1000w energy crisis contributor

Pokemon and Brawl Numbers

Why are they "one" instead of '1'? Maybe I just did it to bother you. Maybe because it makes that T shape. Maybe because I get spam from wherever else I put a number like that someplace were anyone can see it (I'm looking at you ICQspammans). Maybe I haven't steaʍrollered ʍy ʍeatloaf in tiʍe.
In addition to the usual Pokémon stuff, I'm also looking for specific trainer ID digits for lottery purposes (because 376 Power Point Ups apparently isn't enough). If you have any of the following last 2 digits, I'm trying to get a complete set of ???00-???99:
--00's are complete--
--10's are complete--
--20's are complete--
--30's are complete--
--40's are complete--
--50's are complete--

No hacks, masterballed commons, or clones please. Although it is sometimes tedious, I run a clean game. A night time duskball always works on most full HP commons such as Bidoof.
Until then, I guess I'll be in Team Fortress 2.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl DOESN'T come out today!
Posted 18 years agoDecember 3rd? Oh boy! Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out NOT today! I'm so NOT excited, I'm NOT going to have trouble sleeping tonight. This morning, I decided to NOT go out to the store and make sure I get a copy immediately. I DIDN'T have to make sure I had a copy to play for the release tournament I was about to NOT have and invited 15 friends over to months in advance. I spent all day NOT playing it. Its the most awesome game I DON'T own. I sure am glad I got the day off of work for the special event I WON'T. I've already beaten the single player mode ZERO times and unlocked NONE of the secret characters because of how fanatically I HAVEN'T been playing it! The only thing that DIDN'T stop me was when the power was out for 3 hours at about the time the tournament was scheduled for. Heh. Guess I win?
Hopefully, I WON'T get to do it all over again on Feb. 10th. 2 months, 6 days, 10 hours, 20 minutes, 55 seconds and falling...
