Posted 10 years agoyeah im sorry guys.. this semester has been a nightmare. I know i say that ever semester but still. this one has invoked depression, isolation and a lot of mixed emotions about my life success, and if i will fail and bring dishonor to my family

Just got horriable abused in class today by a teacher
Posted 10 years agosorry if ive been very depressed latly but been talking college for close to 8 years at this point and today was perhaps the worse day ive ever had, with a teacher full on humiliating and insulting students, all to make them work harder and much much worse. leaving students in tears, and other leaving.
i want to cry... i just feel horrible... and i am trapped. made worse knowing i have to go back for the next 12 weeks

Posted 11 years agoyeah been rather quiet as of late, been having a very time consuming semester with 3 animation classes, and with there only being 3 weeks left of class... might be a bit quiet for a little bit...
but I am sorry to not respond to notes as quickly, comments, and providing slightly less art. but will be back full times soon, with plenty to show you

Posted 11 years agoWell.. i guess I can just chop this one up to the college experience but my cot finally broke and em now sleeping on the floor.. on a pile of various blankets and such and all i can say... you would think things you slept on would be more comfertable.. i hope my shoulder will finally stop throbing now
Family Stresses *Mini Rant*
Posted 11 years agoUgg... it seems no matter what people always get mad at me. I just cant do right.
that despite working as hard as I can during the summar making money the way I wanted. my grands and tuition covereing like 95% of my cost of school. and finding free healthcare so I only had to pay 400 dollars out of pocket for classes... which I was able to pay for...
Im still being criticized by my grandma, being told horrible things that Im not making enough and i didnt try hard enough to get a oppressive minimum wage job. that what I have achived is not good enough and that i need to pay my own way.
that asking if she might want to aide in paying for a bus pass that would make it so im Essentially 100% self reliant, when in the past shes has told me she would be happy to help me with school supply's.then just attacks me on a personal lvl about not trying hard enough to get store jobs instead of commissions.
its really frustrating to me i suppose.. I try my best to treat her like a person to be a good grand child to her, that she compliments me, tells me all these nice things to my face how she is proud of me and is excited for what Im doing, but then in a split second just turns into a monster.. and just tears my soul apart and make me feel like everything Ive done is shit.
that the fact im in a respectable 4 year art college, using every resource i can to be successful. that at the moment em more successful than most people of my family.being thrifty with every dollar i own. that my hard work to get here earning scholarships that pay all but 400 of 19,000 dollars tuition...and that working as hard as I have.. the fact i dont have left over money to buy a bus pass is offensive to her. that who I am is wrong.
that the way I see the world is wrong. that my ideas of trying to make money are incorrect.
*sighs*.... just makes me want to curl up and never speak again.

Posted 11 years agoyeah sorry for being so vacant the last couple of weeks, been rather busy with my school due to its shortend semester BS as well as final. but being this is an art school and several of my classes are project based my finals are 5 weeks long so yeah.. drawing more complex and detailed pictures has been something a little hard for me.
school projects
a stop motion piece featuring the largest puppet my school has seen
a min 5 page comic (really need to get started on that)
completing my first 3d model character
writing an additional paper and studying for the final for art history
finishing my web page for web and multimedia
so yeah.. been kinda busy, and sorry for the lack of updates and delay in commisisons.
but as soon as school is out for summer both comic commisisons will continue faster than ever as well as sneaking in smaller commissions on the side.

Posted 11 years agowell.. I loved through my first week of my new set of classes and from what I can tell.. Im terrified of whats to come.
from having to learn new programs and techniques such as 3d modeling and stop motion, to having to learn precise dates and times from my art history class. All while being bogged down with incredibly inane strict procedures from my wed design teacher.
plus with 2 animation classes on my plate this semester Im going to be strapped for time in essentually every way... getting kinda scared of the future.. I really hope I didnt doom myself to failure here
