Before you unwatch me
Posted 14 years agoSorry for no updates in a while. After the whole fiasco of being without a computer charger for several months, I finally have one again, but no longer have a tablet pen. D'oh. I will be ordering a new one when I come back from vacation in a week or so and will be submitting some more artwork then.
Until then, feel free to unwatch me if my art no longer suits your tastes, but please do not unwatch me thinking that I'm no longer submitting artwork.
I currently have one trade that needs to be digitalized, a large traditional WIP that's nearly complete, several smaller WIP's, and a few finished crafts that I plan on uploading soon.

Still no computer charger
Posted 14 years agoI don't really feel like getting fully into this right now, but basically if you've been one of the people waiting on a response from me in regards to art or are just wondering why the long hiatus, it's because I've been without a computer charger for around five weeks now. I can hop on my boyfriend's computer every so often, but I don't have any of my digital art software on it, nor would I feel comfortable working on his current set up. Essentially the computer I'm on now is hooked up to a huge plasma tv screen, so even just typing this out, I'm craning my neck. Anyways, since the new mac chargers run for around $80, I ended up ordering a refurbished one off of amazon. I figured since it was coming from the state next to mine, it wouldn't take that long to ship. The maximum delivery date came and passed so I emailed the company, only to find out that they had left amazon, taken my money, and presumably never sent out my charger. I filed a claim and should be receiving a refund, but on top of the time I've already wasted, I now have to wait up to ten days to receive my refund, then whatever time it takes for another one to be delivered.
Oh, and on top of all this, I lost my job, so I can't really afford clay or anything like I had hoped. But hey, I got a 3DS for my birthday and Ocarina of Time 3D so I'm not entirely unhappy.

Pokemon Munny and project updates
Posted 14 years agoFirst off, I'm finally employed again so I can afford supplies for projects I really want to do.
I've currently got a dress-up game underway, a painting, and a photography Mucha themed shoot that I'm going to be modeling for and making all of the props, including one of his signature backdrops.
I'm starting to get the itch to sculpt again though, so I was wondering what pokemon you guys would like to see? I'm aiming to make a series, possibly put them into a show, and then sell them. Also, if anyone has any interest in commissioning me for one, I will be 100% sure to make the pokemon you want and ship it out to you for around $40-$70, depending on the amount of detail. I'm also considering making casts and selling these cheaper, but I'm worried about legality issues with Nintendo. I'm not really concerned much about the Munny company because I really only use the dolls for their joints anyways.
Here's a picture of my Cubone Munny: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5283640/
Some ideas I have already are:
All of the Eevee evolutions
Whimsicott: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w.....ok%C3%A9mon%29
Totodile: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w.....ok%C3%A9mon%29
Mew: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w.....ok%C3%A9mon%29
Suggestions?

Making a dress-up game. Suggestions?
Posted 14 years ago1. What types of animals would you like to see? I've currently got a deer girl as a base, so I can add any species so long as they have a similar muzzle shape. Pose is slightly pin-upish and very feminine.
My current ideas are:
Okapi, wolf, goat/sheep, unicorn, zebra, fox, hyena, cow, horse...uhhh
2. What customization options and accessories would you like to see?
Eye color, body color, piercings, hooves-paws, make-up, markings, tails, hair color and styles, tattoos... Link me to hairstyles and clothing that you like and I'll consider adding them if they match my tastes.
3. Background suggestion? I can either do a few simple ones or one more complex one. I was thinking some sort of dressing room or runway.
4. Would you consider buying a personal dress-up game with your specific sona and whatever clothes/hair/background you want?
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a.....s/dress-up.jpg
Here is a super shitty .jpg of the base so far and one hairstyle. It's still got some proportional mistakes and a lot of shading to undergo, but you get the idea. Also note the muzzle shape if you want to make species suggestions.
On a personal note, I spilled hot grease on my drawing arm today. The marks it left sort of resemble a cat footprint...

Why can't I submit this damn picture...
Posted 14 years agoMy computer's been crashing/freezing all night. I've lost progress over and over again. And now I can't submit it after resizing it and other trouble shooting recommendations.
This is so disheartening...
Anyone know how to get around an error 505?

No Subject
Posted 14 years agoSo uhhh, I'm in DC right now.
Posted 14 years agoAnything interesting to do here other than look at architecture? I'm more of a natural history buff, so I'm somewhat wary of the museums here and I'm really trying to avoid any gung-ho americans. On the bright side, got a hotel room to myself and I'm old enough to get some booze. Yay!
Recommend me artists
Posted 14 years agoI would really appreciate having some good artists recommended to me so I can add them to my watch! Don't bother reading through anything below if you don't feel like it. I just put it for suggestions.
Things I like:
Natural, soft looking art. Mainly traditional.
Vibrant, cute digital art
Cervines, humanoids, sea life, cats, ferrets, birds, mythical creatures, pokemon
Emotive art, silly art
Street-like art, fun and poppy
Small breasted, classy women. Hips.
Psychedelic art
Watercolors and inks
Crafts, dolls, costume accessories
Ridiculously girly art
Gritty, gorey, or melancholy art
Comic strips (not ongoing stories)
Pin-ups (rockabilly, corsets, lingerie, garterbelts!)
Non-anthro animal art
Non-fetish based writing
Music?
Nudity
Things I don't like:
Heavily influenced by anime. I don't mind minor influences, but I don't like huge eyes, generic expressions, and huge tits.
Most porn. There are a few exceptions. I ironically like hentai, but nothing over the top.
Herm art. Nothing against them in real life, I just don't find it attractive.
Fursuiters (unless they've got realistic, really impressive stuff)
Fetish art (unless it's leaning more towards pin-up)
I feel like I'm making myself sound really prude considering I'm on FA. Trust me, I'm not. Just very specific to what I like :p

Snowglobe Commissions.
Posted 14 years agoJust throwing this out there because I realized it was something I wanted to try out. I would like to sculpt custom figures for putting inside a snowglobe, but I'd like to do a practice piece first. Keep in mind that I'll be posting this subject again once I have my latest sculpture done and have more impressive examples of my sculpting ability available.
Anyways, here's the scoop. Since I'd like an example piece, I will do one for only the price to cover supplies. I've estimated this out to be around $50-60. If you can find me cheaper, quality supplies, the final cost will be cheaper as well. Final piece will have a completely decorated, sculpted base, figure(s) of your choice, background figures, default snow or glitter/confetti pieces of your choice, small sculpted floating pieces if desired (IE little stars, hearts, lightning bolts, etc.), and possibly your choice of water color if I can find a way to do it without ill effects.
I would need an empty globe for around $20-25: http://www.amazon.com/Water-Everyth.....ef=pd_sim_ac_2 (or something even larger if you're willing to pay extra), a new box of sculpey for around $15, some sort of waterproof adhesive for around $5: http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-8005....._bxgy_ac_img_b, a finishing type of spray or glaze to protect figures for around $5, and finally the cost of shipping if applicable.
Just some ideas I would like to do:
-"Specimen" snowglobes http://www.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/.....AAAAAS2xoA.jpg
-Link figure with floating Navi(s)with sculpted Hyrule crest for the base. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4743547/
-Brightly colored unicorn with rainbow star confetti and sculpted cloud base (think Lisa Frank)
-Dark Crystal Castle with dyed black snow OR two or three of the characters interacting or possibly surrounding the crystal http://cgi.ebay.com/DEEP-PURPLE-AME.....item3f0856c8fb
-Or anything really : )

Emergency comissions and Cubone auction
Posted 14 years agoEDIT: CRISIS AVERTED. Boyfriend's parents found out and were of course pissed, but they covered the bill. We'll just be working our asses off to make it to them...
Excuse me for being highly stressed out here, but I've recently come into some financial issues.
Here's the deal, about two weeks ago, my boyfriend's mom deposited around $300 into his account to pay for a car repair, bringing his total balance up to $323. We made a $60 purchase later that day, unaware that the deposit had not gone through instantly as it usually does. From then on every purchase we've made has accrued a $30 overdraft fee plus some other fees I don't really understand yet.
In short, we're about $800 in the hole and we're both currently in between jobs.
What I'm offering is:
1) xbox 360 Elite with Dead Space 2, Battlefield 2: Bad Company, Left 4 Dead 2, 2 controllers and a headset for best offer.
2) Commissions (as usual, but with discounts, free extra characters, or anything else left to suggestion).
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2203498/ Ignore slot limits. I'll take as many of these as I can get.
3) I want to auction off my Cubone sculpture/toy for the highest value. His head is fully movable and the arms are positionable, although they are attached with wire and rubber bands and should be handled gently.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5283640/
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Posted 14 years agoTrying to recover from being MIA. Being jobless kind of puts me into a rut. On top of that I'm now a ferret mommy and I've been focusing a lot of my time into playing with them and getting them acquainted with their harnesses so I can take them outside this spring.

Commission information
Posted 14 years agoUPDATE:
Right now I'm kind of burnt out on making art so I'm taking a mini break to get some video game time in and find a new job. I'm still open for commissions, but I figured I'd let you guys know that I'm not going to be spitting out super immediate results. I have art alliance on tuesdays though, which is always helpful in motivating me to get my ass back to work.
If something is unaffordable for you, negotiate with me. I'm pretty poor myself, so I understand and will always do my best to make things affordable. I'm now offering discounts on my munny dolls, so see below for details.
