From Scales to Metal

After a couple of years of Slate the Mudwing being my main Fursona, i will temporary retire him and put more focus on Dire Machines in general, most primarily my plane PT-O, short for Prototype Oculus.
After Eurofurence, I kinda started to feel burned out and want to pursue new horizons. As an avid self taught mechanic and tech-enthusiast, I shifted my interest to the more unusual and niche area of the Fandom. Dire Machines. Vehicles that look as any other but are living beings.
Thanks to RatBat who created incredible lore to it i got pulled into it. My character is heavily influenced by their lore and design.
The important question is: Will Slate return? No... because he isn't gone. He is still a substantial part of me and will see a full return at some point. There will be still art and stuff of him.
In discord servers I will gradually change over and my FA page will be properly adjusted as well.
That's all I wanted to say for now to not worry those who are enamoured by Slate or just really like him.

Posted 8 months agoIt was quite the busy week. Had a lot of fun with friends and meeting new people.
Already post convention depression gnawing on me though.
But Eurofurence is not far!
In other news, my 1989 Chevrolet Silverado 7.4L V8 managed to make the trip of 1840 kilometres just fine.
... don't ask about the amount of gas it had to pay.
