As you know, as with traditional art, its all physical media, but what do you do with that once its been scanned and processed? It goes into a locked and sealed folder that's inside a locked box that's inside a locked drawer that's inside a locked room, because God knows all hell break loose if any of it ever got out of the furry realm into reality.
So, point, if anyone wants anything from my gallery that's on traditional, physical media, let me know, because I'm willing to give most of it up now. I don't want to keep a locked drawer so full. I've thought about burning it, and am entertaining this idea, but figured I'd make a point to ask if anyone wants anything before it all gets chemically altered beyond recognition.

So yall, its been awhile since I was anykinda active on here, you may have noticed (..but probably not..). Partly, well, MOSTLY due to the summer semester of classes goin on. But my last final is this next monday and I'll be done with school for a little while. So maybe you'll get to see a little more of me in a bit. But speakin of school, I've decided to go onto Horseshoein school. Yeah you heard right, HORSESHOEIN, I'm gunna be a professionaly liscensed farrier, as well as an equine dental technician. Ok so I'm still goin back to school to get my degree, but since I'm kinda running low on funds, and horseshoein is something I'd love to do AND it pays well, its the best option I got, so I'll use that to help pay for the rest of my schooling. Now where I'm moving too, back down to old town, I don't think I'll be getting internet unfortunately, so that means you guys might not see me for quite awhile. But I'll still try to get on MSN through my phone, those of you who are on there with me. I've been tryin to hang around on there more recently, minus the four weeks when my laptop was bein replaced, good thing it was my birthday, the folks paid for half of it! woot! But anyways, that probably about cuts it for now. I'll hopefully talk with some of ya'll sooner or later maybe..

Hey guys, this is a link to a petition that will overturn the bill by congress to re-leagalize horse slaughter in the US for human consumption. We only need 204 signatures to get this thing sent, so please, help out your fellow horses and put your name down..

The horse has served mankind for thousands of years and they have helped advance us in our society like no other has. But having them sold off and killed in a meat house seems to be a pretty poor way to thank them..

This bill will do no good. Horse slaughter has been frowned upon here for many many years, and almost all of the slaughter houses were shut down before it became illeagal, and it will happen the same way again. Please, I urge all of you fellow horse lovers to take action against this bill. All you gotta do is put your name down..

Digital shading is harder than it is on paper, I've been havin a hay-day with it on one of the pictures i'm workin on. But anyways, things are coming along a bit faster, this new year wasn't such a hot start for me, but eh, I have high hopes it will get better! But a special horse who has been very kind to me,  Jadoube has helped me out quite a bit when I was feelin' down. Thanks there bud ;) Well I;m working on drawings and such. Have three in the works right now and am about to finish one tonight (if i ever get the dern shadin right).
So how was evryone's Christmas/New Years? Haven't heard from some of yall in awhile, hope everythings been good for everyone. I have some good news to uplift the new year, my old band is gettin back together to do a gig, so that will be fun. Had some good times with the guys in the band, nothin like gettin back together again with music =]. But, the bad news is.. Hostess is going out of business! No more twinkies and delicious sweet treats D= such a great loss, man I'm gunna miss em =( time to go to the store and stock up before they are all gone for good. Anyways, thats it for this journal, I know I know its pretty borin aint it? Heh, well, back to drawin I go, then its time to get some much needed sleep.

Well, the Fall semester has started once again. I must say I have a pretty good schedual. Class only on Tuesday and Thursday with Monday, Wednesday, and Friday off, along with the weekend. All I can think of to say is that this may mean the possibility of more doodles to be created during the next few months. Maybe, maybe not. My middle two classes are engineering and graphic design, so they are all in the computer lab so no paper there. Maybe I can bring my tablet along a few days and use it for "classwork" on the computer heheh. But anyways, things should not be as busy as usual, hence only two class days, so that is some good news. That means I'll have more time on my hands to waste, possibly drawing more. Okay well, I'll say more later, but thats it for now I spose.

Oh man you guys, I am sooo excited to see this new movie. Its been a play on broadway for awhile now. Steven Spielberg is directing it too. If you havn't seen the trailer for it yet you NEED to watch this:

It makes me glad to see a horse movie coming out thats not about horseracing. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE movies like Secretariat and Seabiscuit an all, but they are all based on the same thing practically. War Horse is about a boy and the love he has for his horse, and how it brings them back together through all obsticals. Can't wait for it to come out the end of December!

After being dreadfully sick this week and all work halting, I decided to let everybody know what’s going on. My last final for this semester is on May 12th. That’s 4 days from now. That’s when I will have my first year of college completed and be free for the summer! But in the meantime, I won’t be on much at all and will not be posting anything till the 12th. On that day however, I will be posting doodles, sketches, and yes, dare I say it, a poem I wrote in music class. So just hold out for four more days is all I ask! And that is pretty much it! Till then my furiends, stay in the saddle and keep on trekkin'. =)

Figured out how to scan my doodles into photoshop and omit all of those pesky lines you have on notebook paper. I'll be tryin to edit all of the files I have on here and take out those anoying lines and update them on here so they won't look as horrible XD.
But as an update, I am finally kinda gettin back into the swing of drawin stuff so thats good. =]

Alright, its come to this, I am actually going to officialy design my fursona and lay it out for everyone. Every detail, from the placement of every individual spot, to the shape of my eye pupils. From here on out I will draw myself out by this. So no more confusion as to what I really look like lol!
Something else that kinda goes along with that, I am considering changing my name. I thought up Eyurik awhile back, but it hasn't really been able to stick well. Its not a very horsey name to me anymore. What do you guys think eh?

When a ranch near Billings, Mont., was foreclosed upon last summer, 500 horses were left there, fenced in a pasture with limited food and water. By the time the Montana winter rolled in, the situation had gotten dire for the starving animals. Our Red Star Animal Emergency Services™ arrived on the scene in February to help distribute hay for the horses. They brought with them a check for $20,000 made out to the Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) Foundation to help pay for food for the recovering animals. “This is a tragic situation that required immediate action to save these horses, and American Humane Association wanted to help these animals,” said Debrah Schnackenberg, Senior Vice President, Emergency Services.

Please support these groups in their efforts.

Hey guys, sorry college is kinda the main priority right now and I really don't have time to do much outside of everything I have goin' on right now.
I make a lot of doodles when I take my notes, in the margins of course. But I was wondering if you guys wanted me to post some of them up here in the scraps bucket or something, whatever is best. There not much, just doodles after all, but its something for the time being.

I started carving my mask today. Gotta have it done by the end of the week so I can have it for Halloween! I've decided that I at least have to have the basic shape with the eye slits before then, all of the details can be addedd in later. I'm carving it out of a log that I found on my camping trip this last weekend, I saw it and knew it was perfect. Now what I would like to know is if anyone would like to see some pictures of the process? I'd be able to work it into one submission file so as not to clutter your inbox an such, I just need to know if people would care enough to see it. Lemme know what you think.

I realize that I kinda dropped off the face of existance for awhile there. And that I usually do this often on here. I started to try to pick my drawin pencil back up lately, and it worked, sorta. But despite the not so good attempted drawins, I feel that now I will become more active for some reason. So from now on I will try to stay here and not fall off of the earth's face again!
And now, I think I fancy an attempt of me making myself a fat bunny for fat bunny week.

Just got back from my camping trip in Palo Duro Texas. Its the 2nd largest canyon in the US. I had great time. Our campsite was in the middle of the canyon floor in front of a huge cliff ridge, we climbed it everymorning! Behind our camp was a mountain that was full of boulders and rocks. Every evening at sunset we climbed to the top and watched the sun fall over the canyon, It was beautiful. The sky was very clear at night and full of stars. We could here the coyotes howling not far from where we were, and the company of close friends around the fire was better than ever. It was an amazing trip for us all and one to remember!

Got home from the place today and slept for a couple of hours. I feel a lot better now, but I still hurt a little. Maybe the state of high this pain medication is putting me in will help yeild some interesting sketches hehe j/k. Hopefully I will be more productive after I'm all healed. But for right now, its apple sauce and strawberry milkshakes.

The other day(about a week ago) I bought this really awesome pencil. Its a "proffesional technical drafting pencil", so says the box. But its super sleek an precise. Quite frankly, it rocks! Everytime I draw with it I can't stop! But in summary, mechanical pencils rock, other pencils do too, but, not as much as mechanical pencils. You know what I mean.
