I am looking to take one of two possible projects.
1, Animated short. Looking for 4k+. Professional animation, trad style, in color, rendered, boarded, with sound. Max 1.5 minutes long.
May take up to a year to complete (though aiming for far sooner).
4k of payment required upfront. If longer or requiring with faster turnaround of within 3 months, 7k required with 4k upfront.
2. Chapter length comic. 15 pages, colored/shaded. 4k upfront for w/in 6 months, 7k upfront if w/in 3 months
YES NSFW is allowed, rate is the same.
No: copyrighted content, pedo/zoo, rape/non-con

Umbagog site update and CHARMS!
Posted 9 years agoThe website http://www.Umbagogcomic.com has been updated after some feedback to make it easier to navigate to specific chapters. There are now navigation options at the top menu bar, so you can automatically navigate to certain chapters without accessing the dropdown menus (which confused some folks). The dropdown and nav menus have also been added to to the top of the comic so you don't have to scroll down just to click next or previous.
There is also a new Store Page! From here you'll see what merchandise is available to help support the comic. Right now, we have a set of 4 charms (Kate, two ravens, and a zombie) up for 25 USD.

Posted 9 years agoAs you might've noticed, I've uploaded all the promos for http://www.umbagogcomic.com/ on to my furaffinity. I'm hoping to attract more viewers to my comic. I've been working on it for 5 years or so now. If you like birds, weird body horror, mutants, New England, and existential horror, you might like Umbagog.
And if you're not into any of those things, well it's a very pretty comic full of many colors. So you got some good eye candy.

Unfinished commissions: Roofscum and Whyrl
Posted 12 years agoAt some point I think it was...last year? Before? I somehow lost track of two commissions and now I'm need to know whether my prior clients would like a refund or for these commissions to be finished. I could get them done this week.
The commissions were for Roofscum, of a anthro wolf character turnaround.
And Whyrl, of a non-winged anthro gryphon character turnaround.
Apologies for the delay and unprofessionalism. That's seriously not cool of me and I'd like to make amends. Life was...complicated. Excuses really don't excuse that though and making sure work owed is work received, or money returned, is more important.

Posted 12 years agoTomorrow or the next day, I'll be returning to my wee home in Los Angeles and promptly churning out commissions ordered from moi at Anthrocon. It's been a LOOOONNNG vacation, much of which you can view at http://esdafable.tumblr.com/tagged/roadtrip
There's lots of photos and commentary to check out, especially gorgeous landscapes as we camped out in various states. Your commissions helped ease some of the cost of this and pay for hotels, cabins, and gas. So I thank you! And thank you so much for your patience waiting for me to return home.
There were no takers for popsicle stick badges, so I'm considering opening for these as mailable commissions in the future. But this will be dependent on how quick I can get my already substantial list of to dos out of the way.
Buds who I met at Anthrocon...y'all fucking rule. All of Clockwork Creatures, Toulouse and her fuzzy buds, Grind whereever you be, and dat sassy gurl (you know who you are!) I was so happy to see you again at the bus stop. Magnus you are a sweetheart, I'm sorry I was such a mopey table mate. All nighters at cons: bad idea. Never again. I'd rather take the work home than put myself through something like that again!! Cheetah honey, you rock. Thanks for the room. Them gay boys hanging out in the Zoo after hours, thanks for keeping me sane into the wee hours. You dudes are cute-hearts. I wish I could remember your names but a month of vague amounts of sleep is killing me. Anyone I'm missing, speak up so I can splurge at you. To the Gauntlet: ROCK ON! If only we was a regular thing. To the folks who wanted to commission me on Friday but the stupid registers were plugged up and you smacked yourself later for forgetting to come back to me: YOU HAVE AN AUTOMATIC SLOT. I WILL do some work for you should you come to me (unless it's of course something I find personally uncomfortable, but we can negotiate that). I'm so sorry things were getting fussy at Artist Alley, I felt very bad for all the folks who swung by first day only to have to be turned away due to broken registers :(

I'm offering several commission types: Large Painting, Large Full Body Badge, Popsicle Stick badge (full body, but tinier and glued on a stick), Colored Headshot Badge, Inked/Shaded Headshot Badge, and Quickie Headshot Badge.
I'll also be offering Character Design commissions, where you can give me information about yourself and leave it to me to design a fursona for you based on my knowledge of your physical appearance, your likes and dislikes, and personality quirks as well as my extensive knowledge of Kingdom Animalia. So if you never felt like your wolf/coyote hybrid with pink hair represented you, let me take a whirl. I might inspire or surprise you.

Posted 12 years agoHey folks! Un-Do was super nice and hooked me up with Cheetah so I got a room for Anthrocon. I've signed up for the Artist Alley lottery, but if you don't see me there, look for the blue-haired girl with the zebra-hat in the Art Lounge.
I'll be offering up badges drawn in ink or watercolor and/or giant sketch pages of your character.
Mostly I'm there to have fun and see old friends and make a little money to supplement my massive roadtrip I'm taking cross-country (which brings me to PA).

I guess if anyone was interested in a bunch of poopers occupying their hotel space for that time, maybe I might? Maybe?

Commission Refunds
Posted 13 years agoFor those who have been waiting on commissions from me for a long time, know that you're perfectly within your rights to request a refund. I know you've been waiting for a long time and my free time has been severely limited of late. I'd MUCH prefer you come forward requesting refund than have anyone be upset with me over the time I've taken. I will not be personally upset with you and am entirely sympathetic given my work ethic has not been great this year especially.
It's sad to say, but I'm not sure what my actual ability to accept commissions that aren't extremely quick and on the spot will be from now on. I've too much fulltime studio work to complete, freelance contracts to fulfill, and still have to make time for personal projects to avoid madness. Longterm non-contract projects like DA and FA commissions for various OCs are off the table atm. A lot of people still try to get in touch with me about commissions, and I appreciate the interest, but your best bet if you want art from me is to watch out for those livestream sessions and inquire there.
I'd much rather be honest about the reality I'm living than continue to mince about commissions I owe folks. And it's only going to get worse as I have more and more contracts offered to me. So please, if you've been waiting so long, DO contact me about refunds. I want to be sure we have a clean slate.

Inactivity
Posted 13 years agoI want to apologize for the latest spat of inactivity from me. I've been combatting a terrible cough and this, combined with allergies and a furious apartment search/approaching move, has me once again putting art on the backburner of my life. I'm hoping by April everything will recover, especially since my job should begin by then, and ultimately I'll be moving into a better thinking space with more personal time and privacy. A nice townhouse shared with my boyfriend. I can move even sooner and get a headstart on things if the townhouse remodeling finishes on time. My luck might be changing. Or at least, something different will be happening real soon.
