time to finish up commissions!

School is killing me slowly and surely, and I've never been so stressed every single week. Good news is, this semester is drawing to a close, and the next semester and famous for being relatively relaxing. That is when I'll finish up the rest of my commissions. I'm at my 3rd week of college at RISD, and the amount of homework here is unimaginable. 9 hour studios, ten hours of homework for each studio, plus two liberal arts courses that are very demanding as well.. I'm barely getting enough sleep.

As for my commissioners, thank you so much for being patient. I know I sound like a parrot always saying the same thing, but I don't know what else to say. I still can't make promises, but I'm trying damn hard to make free time to sit and work on the computer for once. I hope you've all been doing well, and I hope to talk to you all soon

My tablet broke about two weeks ago, after I got home from vacation, so I've sent it in to have the battery replaced. Sorry for the really long delay, but I've finally gotten into my colleges, and I've chosen where I'm going, etc. (: There have been some financial issues at home, so I had to find a job -- and I got one (lucky me) -- it's not full time and it isn't extremely time consuming, but I /do/ have to balance it with school. I also have a theatre production coming up that I have to prepare for, as well as my 4 AP tests.

This next week is spring break, though, and I'm definitely going to get some things done. I'll be visiting RISD for about two/three days, but I'll have 4 days to work on commissions. They're slowly but surely getting along.

Unfortunately, since I'm a harsh self-critic, I miiight end up re-doing some commissions, just because they're old, and I think I've improved a lot since the last time I've had time to work on them. I don't know, we will see. (:

If you'd like an update on your commission, please note me! If you want me to hurry the hell up, let me know!!!

Well, I got in trouble for staying up too late the other night, so my dad raged and took away my laptop, and then it shut down, and then I lost work I was doing for 3 commissioners (those 3 who have contacted me pretty recently, you know who you are). I'm grounded from doing any work on the computer besides college and homework for two weeks. -sigh- And then, of COURSE, that's when the holidays roll around.
I hate applying to colleges.

Anyway, I'll let everybody know when I'm back and running again. Asian parents can be so strict. ;_;

So I've been grappling to get that ready. >.< I'm sorry for lack of updates, commissioners - in all honesty, I haven't even been able to open up Photoshop. I've been really working with other mediums that I haven't touched before - pastels, charcoal, etc. I've been doing figure drawing, still-lifes, working on my technique.. I can't promise anything, but I should be back in the business by around the wintertime. So, if I don't update before then, I hope to see you soon, and I hope everyone's been well!

I'm really, really sorry for this bad news. But my mother has been reigning hell upon me, because she's realized that I have been putting my commission work before my college application portfolios. This is a problem. ): She raged at me the other day for not starting the application process, and I have 8 schools to apply to (both art, and liberal arts schools).

In short, I'll have to delay all my commissions for a few months, until about January, unfortunately. All applications are due January 15th, so I have a few months to do hundreds of figure drawings, polish up some original work, write essays, visit schools, get recommendations, etc. That is a LOT of work. Paired with being a section leader for marching band, and 5 AP classes. I'm not sure how well I'd hold up, anyway. I might work on commissions on the side, but my mom warned me that if I didn't get a better headstart on my work for this next school year, she'll.. punish me. >.< Somehow, she didn't know how yet, lol. But it doesn't sound very fun.

So! If anyone would like a refund, feel free to note me. However, I can guarantee you 100% - THE WORK WILL GET DONE. Believe me, I've been scammed before, and it's not fun. I won't do it to you. And, by all means, you can message me if you'd like an update on how much work I'm getting done.

Hey guys, just a really quick update to let you know I'm not dead (again, not yet xP) been going through some very rough personal and family issues, and I've recently gotten employed so that takes precedence. I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel though, and spring break is coming up, so I hope to get working again and talk to you all soon!

-comes back to life- Hi, guys! Holiday break just started, so y'know what that means. I'm going to pick up commissions again - except I'll be working on the short headshot commissions first to get them out of the way and get my creativity juices flowing again. Then I'll do more involved stuff after.

I'm so sorry for being slow with everything. I'll send approval sketches to my commissioners, and if you don't have the money/don't want the picture anymore, just tell me and I'll gladly take you off the list. Thank you!

Life has been so, so so hectic for me lately. It's a huge effort to even get up in the morning, and even a huge effort to make myself go to bed. I barely even have time to write this.
I'm so sorry, but commissions are going to be a tad delayed for the time being - at least for the next two weeks. Band has been draining all my energy, as well as personal things that have been threatening to destroy me completely. School is my top priority right now, and it's been slipping lately, so I really have to pull up my grades before anything else.

I'm so, so sorry. I feel absolutely horrible. I'll try my best. If any of you have any problems/concerns regarding your commissions, feel free to note me. My AIM/email/internet in general has been odd lately, so I wouldn't suggest contacting me there.

It basically drains life of happiness. For the most part, anyway.

A really quick update; sorry, commissioners, for taking so long. I haven't learned how to balance my time yet, but I'm definitely getting there. Junior year seems pretty frightening so far... but isn't it scary to pretty much everyone? :P

So yeah, just wanted to give everyone a headsup that I'm still here and makin artstuffs in the little free time I have between extensive AP classes, honors classes, marching band, and play. I'll keep you guys posted. <3

Fur affinity's a little confusing. D: I wish it were easier to navigate around. I'm so used to deviantArt that joining a new site just confuses the crap out of me. xD But I already like the vibe here. It's great.

Commissions are open to be discussed. c: To start, I'll keep them cheap. Sketches are 1$ - 2$ depending on complexity.
Flats are 5$, shaded pieces 8$, and full pictures 10$ - 15$. I'll see what happens these next few days. ;D
