It took about two weeks to upgrade my office between the new computer rig and furniture, but it should be aaaaaawesome. I'm super excited. This was the first time I bought a new computer just to upgrade and not because the old one exploded/melted/caught fire/etc. Totally underestimated how long it takes to migrate data, since I actually had data to migrate this time.

Haha... plague looks like plaque.

A quick update while I'm slowly getting back on my feet:

- Had a month of medical emergencies. It was super fun times.
- I'm finishing up commissions for SpinCollie and wolfyswim.
- I'll start working through the backup in my Notes.
- There will be no more commissions until my medical fun times mellow out. If you were planning on getting a slot for a holiday gift for someone, I recommend shopping elsewhere (though thank you for thinking of me!).
- There is a small chance that if I get better, I may post 3 slots for the derpy shirt styled chibis, but don't hold your breath.

The current theory is that after this long year of physical and mental stress, my hardware is just giving me a big NOPE. Best case scenario: Getting lots of rest and eliminating all stress (hah!) will fix things as soon as possible. And I'm gonna leave it at that, because I don't like the other scenarios lol.

I really enjoy doing Christmas commissions and adoptables and such, but I wouldn't be able to guarantee delivery by the 25th. Sorry about that!

Commission Status: All of those standard shirt styled chibi slots have been completed. There were two special cases left over. One is in progress, one in queue. Beyond that I am doing some app work for someone and illustrating a children's book for my aunt - provided she gets a publishing plan. I'll open up commissions again once those two "special cases" are finished though. Only 5 slots next time, so keep an eye out.

I will also start rotating where I open commissions - 5 slots here, then 5 on FB the next time, 5 on DA after that. This is to give everyone a chance, regardless of wherever they follow my stuff and things. FA is next though. ;)

Silly shirt things always seem to happen when I'm out of town lol...

It's been a few weeks, but I'm finally getting around to cleaning up the last bit from Wonder NW. It was a fun! It was also the first convention I had a table at - a vendor table at that. I had a week to prepare for it, which was a little hectic but good experience overall. Hopefully I can hit a few more cons by the end of the year! Maybe some of the following:

I got in the 2nd to last night of Open Beta and I am on the fence about whether to sign up for launch. This could partly be because I only made it to lvl 10 and that was after much running around in Astrub, looking for what the hell I was supposed to do next and wondering why Astrub ore didn't do squat for leveling. Boring (and frustrating in relation to the ore). At the very end I figured out that I should just hit more of Sufokia and theeeeeeen... it started to make a little more sense.

So...

Will you be a paying customer at Wakfu launch? I'm on the fence. I played a lot of WoW. (In fact I still need to cancel my WoW account. Oops. Loyal paying WoW fan since 2004, sadly. FOR THE HORDE!) However, it got to the point where I didn't like how players who had a life could never really enjoy endgame - without a good guild that is. My server was lacking on good guilds since the LFG tools were released.

Wakfu's cute and compact (and works great on my Macbook!), but the bit I played was a little boring. Does it get better and more engaging? Can you play and enjoy it while still having a life? Does guilding matter or are people just running around individually killing sheep and planting trees all the way to the level cap?

SRS BSNS! For cereal.

It's only $5/month so that's not too bad, but I like to be a little more informed before I get sucked into a launch (if it is in fact, engaging enough to get sucked into).
