was kind enough to not only request but get permission for us lucky Crux to get a really nice template for a Crux headset to be used as an avatar image by ourselves
All thanks to the Artist
for the superb artwork and to quote their rules of use from the image entry:
-Anyone can use it, you have my permission. No need to ask beforehand.
-Edit it any way you want, feel free to add longer hair or eyelashes or whatever!
-Please credit me for the base even if you heavily edit it.

Posted 13 years agoWell some of you might have noticed the change on the profile already, but yes Enkai asked me if I would like to look after the group for them, and I said I would do my best to keep it going.
So yeah I'm here now, just gotta sort out what's going on and what to do and will get some updates going as soon as I can do, have to ask around for who was still waiting/wanting things to be submitted here and such.
Feel free to leave general insanity and messages in the comments for me and I'll get right back to you as soon as I figure out the clasp on this straight jacket.

Posted 13 years agoThat's right fellow cruxes, it's time for another contest on your creative ability not by art this time, but by Story. So we have 2 way's your story can go. A crux was secretly hiding in your home and you found it one day due to it being clumsy. It tells you to keep it a secret because they are rarely to be seen, how would you do this as if it were real life. The other choice is if you had become a crux in real life, how would your life be as your new self? Your story can be as long as you like it to be and will be judged by jasirilion and EnkaiXiomasa

Enkai and I have looked over all the entries, and it wasn't an easy decision. Everyone who entered did a wonderful job, and that's no lie. I'd like to personally thank all of you who participated, you made this groups first contest a huge success in my opinion! It makes me sad that I can't give more to this group and the contestants. <3s to you all!
Anyways, with that, I have to stop dragging my feet and announce the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place winners...

The possibility and details of future contests will depend more heavily on YOU, the members of the group. First off, I'd like to try to have people have a little more of a heads up of an upcoming contest, or a longer contest run time. This first contest was sort of a experiment in itself for not only the group but for me as well as I've never hosted one before. (I hope I did a decent job for you guys!)
If future contests have as many entries as this one did I'd like to open up the voting to the group. Or would you rather have the voting be restricted to group leaders/designated personnel? Let us know your thoughts/suggestions!
Now, as for specific future contest details, what do you guys think would be fun to have as a contest?! I already have one idea that I'm still thinking on (but I won't tell because that'd be cheating!) but I was wondering if anyone wanted to share an idea or something!? Also, would you like a certain amount of warning before a contest is started, etc. Any general feedback would be appreciated!
And once more, if you'd like to offer some of your time/talent/money/organs/1st born sons to the group for contest fodder or something we'd love you for it!
