I have more than one major bone to pick with humanity these days. Those who see evil and do not stop it are worse than those performing the evil in the first place. But humans in america have no sense of unity or brotherhood- the smallest charity or kind act seems astounding and strange- a hand extended in friendship and kindness is looked upon with suspicion. We've had an opportunistic, "me first" mentality pounded into us by this culture.

Just like that, without saying a word, I've lost a dear friend- for something I cannot change, for a part of who I am.

The more i learn about mainstream religion, the more I am convinced that mankind has never worshiped anything but itself. Bitter? Maybe a little- but i have plenty of reason to be bitter towards religion.

Got a new job at a department store- usually the first 3-4 hours of my shift involve me running around like a headless chicken unloading a truck. Leaves me sore and a bit stiff- and my boots aren't too gentle on my feet- but the second half is easier.

Oddly enough, after every 7-8 hour shift, i'm still full of energy. Sore, a bit weary, but not tired. And with every day, i'm a little bit less sore than the last. Hopefully soon I'll become fully adapted to the work.

saw the line truck on my road, but power came back shortly after i went to bed. i had remembered to switch the lights off, but I heard the fridge turning on :3

Got to meet a lot of people and played some fun and completely crazy games, and realized that one of my favorite things about a furrycon is seeing the fursuiters and watching the fursuit parade- which included dozens of zombies and slenderman.

Had a blast- and somehow i'm not completely smashed afterwards- in part because I didn't have to drive for nine hours just to get home.

So my relatively new laptop blew its motherboard yesterday.

So I'm on a back from the dead desktop running windows XP... XP. The worst part is that Chrome's adblock won't work. Oh yeah, and I had to DRILL A HOLE IN MY FLOOR if i wanted internet.

the hard drive from my laptop is currently being ripped to an enternal drive by a squadron of geeks armed to the teeth with horn-rimmed glasses with tape on them. So I will get my artwork, incredibly pricey scanning program, and my titanic porn collection back in a few days.

Wait 50 minutes wading through menus and hold music to talk with a real person.

And in addition, there is a white out mark on the document that i discovered. as a government document, any modification renders it invalid. Thus, i will need to get a new one from them.

So i got laid off from work today :/ Make no mistake- I hated my job with a passion, the pay was crap, and I was actively looking for greener pastures. i just didn't expect them to do the hard part for me.

So I will be looking for new work, collecting unemployment, and trying to maker the most of my temporary freedom. luckily i have a comfy buffer in my bank account to tide me over.

I was gonna put this up last night, but I faceplanted into some pillows and stuff before i reached my computer.

So i finally got my tail from  Sarawrcat, and i am very pleased with it- I was told it was wagging behind me while I was eating dinner. The double belt loop idea really makes that tail wag with the slightest movement, which was what I was hoping for.

So  Sombra,  arlene,  Sarawrcat and  renoch went to Wal-mart after dinner- most of us had tails, and Sarah had her suit head on. This little kid, maybe ten or twelve years old, walked by and exclaimed, "Kitty people!" Had had the most adorable, excited expression on her face. I think we made someone's night :3

After a long day of suppressing the murder impulses- aka my job- I trudge up the stairs, into my room... and my little grey tabby jumps up on my bed, goes "MrRrRrRr?" And makes my day much, much better.
