Posted a year agoHi, guys! I haven't visited in a while, and there are a lot to catch up to. Tell me, is it now not possible to reupload art? I may have missed it, but can't see a button to replace an image anywhere.

Posted 4 years agoClimate have been shitty for some more than to others this year. Vicious floods stroke Western Europe. Many lost their homes, and even their lives. In attempt to help flood victims, East India Company made a charity stream on twitch, aimed at gathering funds and help people to get through these challenging times.
Please, help if you can. Watch the stream, donate or spread the word. Even a tiny little bit may help!
The following quote will describe situation better than I ever will:
East India Company, in conjunction with Radio Sidewinder, Diamond Frogs, GalCop, and Simbad, are proud to present Elite Aid. This is to be a 24 hour long event starting at 12:00(Noon) UTC on 9/4/2021 (08:00 EST on 09/04/2021). During the event we will host a continuous live stream staffed by members from each gaming group. All proceeds will be donated to Global Giving Western Europe Flood Relief Fund. While we expect the stream to be heavily filled with Elite Dangerous content, streamers will be allowed to stream any games they choose (you must operate within the Twitch streaming guidelines).
Our goal is to raise $2,000 or more to aid in the flood recovery efforts in Western Europe. We will collect donations via Just Giving for the Global Giving Western Europe Flood Relief Fund. We ask that all participants help promote the stream internally and across any other platforms they see fit.
You can sign up for a time slot by contacting EIC directly at our email (EliteAid@eicgaming.com) or on the Elite Aid discord. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the Twitch streaming service. During your streaming time please mention the charity several times and thank viewers who donate! Unstable internet connection
Posted 5 years agoI have quite unstable internet right now. It took me several days to write this message. Until I can fix it (or call for another provider), I won't be able to post art or answer people here. Some people are waiting for news from me, and I am afraid, these are the news :(

Posted 8 years agoAlthough I completely messed up with time in my "dragon week" action. I find it successful. Drawing them showed me some of my weak points which I hope to fix in the nearest future. I will also have more request actions soon, but this time with no deadlines.
And whoah! A couple of months offline, and I have more than 2k unread messages! I didn't even know I watch so much people.
By the way, I do not draw complicated things lately as I just have no time for it. But I do tonns of sketches, some of which are not so bad.
Would you be interested in me posting them here?

Very short news.
Posted 9 years agoFirst, I need to apologise for all the unanswered comments, watches and shouts. I am utterly busy now, and I can't be online more often than once a week. The main reason is a regular job. The job is hard for me and requires additional training, it takes most of my time. Also, it is damn far from home.
Lack of time also means that instead of taking regular commissions, I need to stop doing them at all. This is temporary, but I have no idea, how long it will last. I will make a lournal when they are open again.

omegalioness is back on FA! She may be not very well-known here, but in Russian community she is very popular - and I hope, you will like too her sweet style with soft shadows and tender lines. Just give her gallery a look!
Also if you like her art, she does YCHes and will open commissions very soon.
And about my own gallery:
I'm going to open my commissions after the rusfurrence, including everything from cheap sketch to complex painting. Besides regular commissions I'm going to start the Iron Artist challenge. But here comes a question:
This will be the very first official round. Although I did a lot of commissions in the past years, I may not know what do you want, but I would like to do my best.

You know, I've started posting my art online from deviantart. It was, as statistics says, five years ago. I was posting where for 3 years, then I've had a sort of crysis and stopped it, but not so long ago I've started to post my art on DA again.
Aaaand....

Here, on FA, I never was really active, I've posted art from time to time, and I could be offline for months. But however inactive I am here, however quet I may be in groups, forums and journals, I'm getting here FAR more feedback than I'm having on Deviantart now!
I've posted every day.
I've joined 198713761387 groups. Some are turned out dead despite the amount of members(I've met a dead group with deactivated founder having 5000+ members).
I've tried to be as active as only possible without turning into a DA bot.
I've been there for such a long time now.
And I still have more feedback here on each new submissions than on summary there! Actually I have more feedback on weasyl where I am active for three(!) days now!
What is going on?
And it seems like it not only me who having such a problem. I am faaar not the best artist and most of the time I am an artshadow. But I've noticed that a lot of good artists have made FA their main gallery and abandoned or made their DA secondary. /incert slowpoke here/
I hope I am just being paranoid, or maybe I'm doing something wrong. If I was a PR manager, I'd starved to death. Everything I see about DA is that the whole site is turning into a big adotable-wolfaboo-fanart commercial platform, nothingless. My friend gave me premium there, and an ability to use DA wayback machine. And you know what? "popular for all time" in 2006-2008 is so much cooler than what we can see there now!
So I will use my FA as my main gallery, as I did for these "hiatus" two years. Just because group fagging is not my way=\

Tablet fixed+funny thing
Posted 12 years agoMy tablet is now officially fixed! I'm now ready to continue working on my delayed (should I say "as always"? =\ ) commissions and etc. I'll write to everybody who asked me for art in the nearest time.

Tablet Issue
Posted 12 years agoWell,it finally happened. After five years of reliable work my tablet is now broken. I can't use it even as a mouse. Sadly, where were a few of artworks I've promised to people, but now I have to turn down all my digital work.
I will post some art from may and june, and maybe after it I will not post art at all for a couple of months.
Итак, так случилось, что мой замученный старичок-планшет таки отдал концы. Это было отличное сотрудничество и пять лет безупречной работы, но все хорошее когда-нибудь кончается. Теперь мне нужен новый планшет, и так как большую часть времени я рисовала в цифре (в первую очередь это касается рисунков для других, так как это намного быстрее традиционки), то выложу я только рисунки с мая и июня, когда планш еще был рабочим.
Очень извиняюсь перед людьми, которые ждали что-то от меня. Я обязательно свяжусь с вами, когда куплю себе новый планшет.

Does anybody know why some artworks here on FA can't be fully downloaded? I click "full view" or "download" - and the picture downloads only for a half! I can press F5 untill I get sick - and the only thing I'll have is the error message.
Is it normal and what can I do?
Кто-нибудь сталкивался с такой проблемой, что хочешь увидеть картинку в полном размере- а она догрузится до середины - и усе? Рисует недостающую часть серым фоном и на стыке ставит какой-то кривой квадратик с яркими точками. Обновляешь - выдает ошибку, типа "изображение не может быть показано, бла-бла". Что с этим сделать вообще можно?
