Since I don't have the hands of an artist, perhaps I should try writing. I've done some RP campaigns in the past and have been told that I do a really good job coming up with the story.

Now if only I could stop being lazy...

Well, I need to update my journal so it doesn't say that I have a broken laptop. Don't get me wrong, it's still broken and it's impossible to fix it. I'm just going to have to deal with the bad graphics card.

The good news is that I now have a new (old) desktop computer. It's certainly not the best, but it at least gets the job done. The hardware is very minimal, but since I can easily take it apart, it's going to be easy to upgrade! The first thing I'd change is the video card because it is literally the bare minimum that can run Windows XP. It's so old that ATI doesn't support it anymore, so it's at its peak performance level as it is.

I'm still going to be saving up for that iMac because I want a machine that can take on beastly tasks :3 But for now, this will do.

Well, the graphics card in my laptop suddenly went haywire and now my screen is full of strangely-colored pixels that distort pretty much everything. It looks so bad... This laptop is 4 years old now, so it's lived a good life. As soon as I save up the money, I'll get an iMac and see how those fare.

So my drawing class ended about 4 and a half months ago and I did OK in it... OK being a B- >.> But that's what I got in my high school art class as well, so I guess it was destiny that I would do the same in college.

The critiques I received from the prof were that my outlines were too heavy. "But that's unique to the way *I* draw! What's wrong with deviating from the way YOU want me to draw??" Oh well, I guess not everyone can draw realistically. It's not like a letter grade determines how well I draw anyway :P
