General | Posted 12 years agoSorry if this is too rarified but I'm wondering if there's any information about this, since a lot of furries watch streamed artwork using Livestream.
I don't like ads so I always redirect a ton of hostnames using my hosts file. When I do this, if I go to a livestream URL (http://www.livestream.com/redsilver for example) I can see the chat and I can see an image, but it updates only once per minute and keeps the spinning circle metaphor in the middle. I figured this was Livestream being an ass and blocking me from normal viewing because they couldn't air ads to me.
I recently discovered that if I add a hash at the end of the URL (http://www.livestream.com/redsilver#) then the livestream session loads and acts normally. I'm not into web development but I am guessing that livestream is using ajax and that I am telling it to do something weird by passing it a hash with no anchor. Does anyone have a better guess or know what's going on?

General | Posted 13 years agoI'm a homeowner! Moved in last week, been busy putting the place in order. The last dude who lived here set the bar pretty low for home improvement, evidenced by the state of the closets and a few oddities; I'm hoping I can set it higher! I've got a large upstairs and finished basement perfect for renting out, and in my dreams I have some frequently traveling associate who needs a place to crash when he's in town every few weeks paying my mortgage.
At any rate I'm thrilled with the place, it's close to my gym and my workplace. More art will come when I have a computer desk.

General | Posted 13 years agoHey all! I didn't want to vanish and leave folks wondering, so here it is: I'm going to leave FA for a year or so, and there won't be any updates or responses from this account. I might make an unrelated account later to browse, but I haven't decided that yet.
My reasons are personal, but for those who are curious I've recently moved to a new place and started a career that looks very promising. I'm finding myself more interested in hobbies I used to do before college and some new ones, and I'd like to give them a chance at developing rather than spending my time on FA or drawing furry porn.
So yes! No dramatic goodbye. Expect to see more work from me in the future, especially my contributions in an upcoming adult comic with
myenia and 
rukis.
