Well, FA got hit. Badly, from sounds of it.
This makes no never mind to me, most if not all my newest submissions go onto SoFurry (I like the interface and fact stories aren't "Click to download" format. Plus they do constant maintenance, which is nice.) anyways.
The lack of traffic I see here on FA versus my FA also is a factor that disappoints me. I'm probably gunna start looking at FA less as this year progresses. I'll probably keep it, just not bother with anything new. Adding new software security after you get kicked in the proverbial goodies is hardly an endearing trait.
But, don't get me wrong! The trouble is as much the do-ers fault as FA. People fail realize, that some folks out there are gifted enough, if they want "In"? They are gunna get in. Think of the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie, where Stark comments about his capacity breach a government database.
Same thing, different source/entity.
Love it, hate it, it's a part of the modern worlds woes.

Well, I figured I'd take a go and see what comes of making a friendly inquiry. (Not that anybody reads journals anyways, right?! Lol)
I'm offering let folks have done in any art they might be willing get done with me as an extra. Few stipulation of course:
First, if ya do, lemme know ahead of time to get my permission. This should be obvious.
Second, if it's something of a certain kink, ask me if I DO that kinda thing. I don't wanna get drawn (literal and figurative) a scene I'd never condone or participate in! Hard-Vore is a prime example. That is off limits for me.
Third, I'm a shapeshifter, so I DO turn into other species/stuff. So (if anybody does this, anyways) if ya wanna see me as something else, inquire if I'd permit it.
Well... I guess that covers everything I can immediately think of, aside from the final obvious.

I went see it yesterday, when it came out. Oh my gawd, what a great movie! I enjoyed every moment of it!
The team worked on it, did an absolutely excellent job, rendering and doing the little details of the characters, from Judy the bunny, to Wilde the fox and all the other characters.

How many Original Characters (OC) do you have?: Presently? Either 2-4 depending. Two "adoptable" ones and myself.

Of those OC's, do you have a Fursona (a representation of yourself)?: Of course I do. One used publicly that everyfur can see and (maybe) romp with. The other is my "secret" self I share only with my most cherished friends and lovers.

For your Fursona, what Species did you pick?: Well, that's gunna be a long answer! Originally, I started with a Were-hybrid. (There were backstory reasons behind my decisions, at the time) the species of choice was just four: Tiger, Lion, Light and Dark Phoenixes. For the species name I thought of, "Tigonix" had a nice ring to it. Well, I didn't stay like that, but for a few years before folks started tinkering! Now, I got addition of Chakat Macro into the mix, followed a year so later by, Human, Dragon (recently upgraded as a prank by another, to a Queen Dragon, AKA, a breeding dragoness), Arch-Angel and Arche-demon.

How long have you had this character represent you?: Damn... How long? *Thinking* Going on nearly, heck, 1.5 upwards to possibly two decades? Give or take a few years?

Out of which came to the pair a newborn and cherished daughter. Born at the fullness of maturity by gift of the magic that had born her, and to two souls that raise and teach her.

Body Type: Feral - Sleek and strong, semi-normal wolf shape. Weir - Strong and moderstely buff, very notably feminine. Human - Relaxed body-builder, not overly bulky or heavily defined.
Sexual Preference: Bi-sexual - heavy female preference, either Sub/Dom. (Submissive males or gentle Dominant males, very rarely preferred)

Oookay, so... A Furriend and also a stranger I dunno decided prod me together and asked about Dragon Queens. That's sorta a vague topic I'm not precisely fully acquainted with. So, I got to wondering: How many folks and furs actually DO have common ideas/knowledge of the scaliest royalty and most breedable beasties there is?

Well, I've been playing Magic: The Gathering for ages now. I've decided, after this recent bull with people buying and hoarding the recent, Battle For Zendikar Fatpacks, that I'm just not going buy any new products anymore. From now on, I'm just giving the finger to any further expansions in MTG.

There's a reason why I tell others I dislike some online mediums for communication. Online, you cannot judge the tone intended behind a post.

I'm still around, for all those wondering, I've just not had a very cohesive lifestyle last few years.
I've been going through various hell in my personal Non-fuzzy life that has been keeping me offline and not writing. But, I'm still here and I'm still alive! Can't keep a good monster down!

Seriously, I've HAD it up to here. It's not gods damned worth the fuss and stress to me personally, if someone cannot use their damned imagination and brain to formulate a mental image of how my 'sona-self appears.

Going threw three DOZEN artists, of which only TWO actually went into discussions with me over details, only have both basically go, "No thanks" by the end of it.

I hate trying to do that, I've discovered. Either any possible artists with the capacity or skill to offer to do my ref' are either unwilling to oblige or even think of trying, or they are in Closed on their commission status.
Maddening, to say the least, in trying to find a artist whom would be willing to take to the challenge of doing a ref' sheet of my monster-self. I'm beginning to get depressed on even trying with the prospects. One artist even went and said, "You sound like an awesome creature, but I'm just not willing go to task at the challenge you offer." *Sighs heavily.* Find a artist to do a reference... Fragging easier said than done.

Update:
I'm just gunna say, "Fuck it!" and give up on this. If I can't find a suitable artist out of twelve REALLY good prospectives, from either being Closed, requiring prior reference-in which case, whats the fucking POINT of offering do somebody a reference?!-or they just aren't fucking up to task or willing to try. So, suffice to say, and I say it again. Fuck it, I give up trying get an artist.

So starts the end of the last month of November... And I'm heartsick and sore at heart with knowing it.

Somewhere in this month, last year, a extremely dear and precious friend and a person I considered a mate, passed away. The first year I go on living, knowing one of my most precious companion's whom was both a friend and lover, will not be among the living to travel the long difficult path called "Life".

I am only one of many, whom have felt the poignant misery of a lost loved one, wither they be family, mate/lover or just a simple friend.

To me though, this loss is one my more painful ones. Close to two decades of knowing her, a soul I cherish, even though she no longer lives. She now numbers among a growing list of individual souls whom I have begun outliving. A fact and point that is painful and agony to me, knowing that I will live many decades to come, should my years not be stolen from me unnaturally.

I intend to submit, later this evening... A brief compilation of three memorable encounters, to whomever wishes, feel free to read them. Be aware and forewarned though, those who are my Watchers. I will tolerate no disrespectful or criticizing comments or posts upon either this journal, or the posted compilation. They are both "In Loving Memory" works, so negative statements, will be viewed as hostile. I forgive not those whom disparage a mourner.
