I had started a new job in October and just lost it this week.

It's gonna be a little hard for me.. But I want to see if I can survive off of art for awhile. It's just difficult to deal with the frustration and dread that comes from working for a company.

I'm 100% sure that they did not want to just let me go but they were being pressured by higher ups to downsize...

Especially with how the virus is going..

I'm sure most of them are dead accounts but still, thank you to everyone that enjoys looking at my art!

There's a few things that I really want to draw more or to begin with~
I'm itching to do some Vore and Bondage themed things.
And I also want to get better and doing WS and pawplay things.

I just need more fun ideas involving these.
I'd also enjoy doing more commissions involving them too.

Maybe once I get some other ideas and commissions done I'll try to focus on a couple pieces with those themes.

I don't usually get into these things.. I'm just frustrated.. and I want to explain something.

First off. Lets get this clear.. "Herm" is not an offensive term.. It's just short for Hermaphrodite which is a scientific term... There are real life plants and animals and even people that are Hermaphroditic.. and it's like calling someone "Male or Female" So saying "I'm a herm" is like saying "I'm a boy or girl."

So beyond that.. Let me explain why my sona Xeila is a herm.

While yes, I put my character into sexual positions and such... the reason my character is Hermaphroditic is because of my own personal gender identity. I struggle with my gender, like many people in this community. In reality it's something that really drags me down a lot and I find my means of dealing with it in the furry community. My character is a herm because I deal with my issues through my character. It feels right. It feels correct.

I feel like I get kind of discriminated a lot for it. "Oh they're just some pervert" or there's several artists that I'd LOVE to get art from that I never will because they don't draw herms.. and That's fine, It's preference.. There's artists that tend not to draw males or females. But it still kind of hits me on a personal level sometimes.

I don't like getting caught up in the politics of everything.. but when people tell me that calling myself a "Herm" which feels RIGHT and makes me feel comfortable with myself.. Is WRONG and transphobic.. That is extremely hurtful to me.. as a transperson, being called transphobic feels really shitty. I'm a very kind and caring person.. I'm very willing to talk to people. I don't treat my clients as a means for money.. I'm here to build friendships and make people happy with my art. So I'm just a little frustrated that this trend of saying herms are transphobic is kind of popping up.. I had NEVER heard this start up until this year.. and I feel like this is something that someone just DECIDED and other people clung to.

Can we all please just love eachother and not fuck with eachother's identities.. Don't tell someone that who they are and how they feel is wrong. I feel like many people have their hearts in the right place, but don't realize that the way they are doing it is just as bad as the people they are trying to fight against..

I have a lot of love to give. So please stop trying to hurt my identity.

Welp. As of today I'm unemployed... I'm going to probably update my price sheet soon and I'll be trying to pump out more commissions.

I guess my new job is art and looking for a new job! :D

I keep experimenting with new shading styles and line art styles.. but I'm so intimidated by back grounds..

so I may start practicing those more in 2017.

I'd love to figure out more things to improve, this new year is going to be a huge year of growth for me in Art and in Life.

Hey guys. I'm working through a bunch of stuff right now. The divorce, moving, not sleeping well, work stress, daily life stress. It's all kind of piling up right now and I'm a little slow on the art thing..

I'm. exhausted.. yet my move in date to my apartment is coming up fast. 11/3, the day before my birthday. So it's safe to say that my birthday will be spent moving as well.

the next big event for me after that is starting on the divorce process. Luckily we're separating as friends so that should go smoothly.

and then MFF is coming up soon too. I'll be there if anyone wants to meet up or say hi.

Anyway, i just kind of needed to unload a bit.. I'm really feeling the pressure of life right now and it's taking its toll on this old folf.

Yeah, it's happening.. after 5+ years my mate and I are splitting up.
Things will be better with us as just friends.. but fuck.. it's extra hard to do this when it's someone you still love and care about..
I just know my heart isn't fully in it and that's not fair to her..
She said she's happy the way things are.
I'm not.
It feels like it's my fault..
It feels like I'm hurting her because I'm being greedy.
But I just can't do it.
I'm glad she's letting me go so easily.
Even if her tears tell me she wishes she so desperately could make me happy.
I feel like the worst person in the world.

But I have to think about myself too, right?
And we'll still be friends.
