So, I realize it's rather narcissistic to draw myself over and over again, but hear me out. First off, I love drawing dragons. I have been since I could hold a pencil (maybe I'll upload some of my terrible dragon drawings from kindergarten someday), and I enjoy exploring draconic form through various mediums. It's really the only thing that keeps me drawing, and I've left drawing by the wayside for so long, that dragons are really the only thing I can still draw consistently. Second, I've struggled endlessly with what I look like. Nothing quite looks right, no matter how I tweak my drawings, and I'm constantly striving for the correct form. Will I ever get there? I have no idea, but until then, you're stuck with seeing sketches of me over and over again. Enjoy.

Dang guys, it's been a long time! I've been going through my accounts on various websites, and trying to update them all. I plan on spending more time around here and around other places, like DA and whatnot, so you may see me here more often! I don't know how much art I'll actually be posting, but meh, we'll see. I have a few pieces I've done here and there that I'll post soon, but as far as new content after that, things may be a bit slow. 🤔

I guess I'm driving across the country in about a week to go to Everfree Northwest in Seattle. Yay! It's a My Little Pony convention. Should be exciting. They apparently got a bunch of voice actors from the show to come. We're going to be driving for a total of around 50 hours there and 50 hours back, hopefully in three days each way. Seems like I'll be drinking a lot of coffee. Luckily I'm not the only driver. For all of you bronies, I'm going as Gilda the griffon. I'd go as Fluttershy, but my hair doesn't really suit that. :D

So much has been going on in the past few weeks...

I finally got a summer job with the National Park Service doing social media and website updates, meaning that I finally get to use my Photoshop and computer skills for something besides my own whims. Unfortunately, having this job means I have to get up at 4:50am every morning, and then drive for two hours in rush hour traffic. Blegh. But it means that I get to be on Facebook all day. It's definitely not what I want to do for the rest of my life, but I get the opportunity to make some major (and much needed) changes to the park's webpages.

I also finished my sophomore year in college this past month. So, half done. It's going by so fast. I finally figured out how to take art classes, even though I'm not majoring or minoring in it. And I got talked into making a logo for my karate sensei at school.

As for commissions, they're coming along, slowly. I'll get them done, I promise. Getting up so early makes it tough to find time to do any work on them.

As I'm sure you know (or maybe don't) I have an Etsy shop for some of the junk I make. I got kind of bored of it, so I decided to turn it into a themed shop. The theme? Coffee! Yumyumyum.

And other hot beverages like tea and stuff. I still don't have a ton of themed stuff up yet, but being winter break, I should have some free time to add a few items. Once I get my bum in gear, I'll have stuff like hand painted coffee mugs, coffee scented candles, themed paintings, boxes for tea, and maybe even some handmade tea blends.
