So, I'd like to take up the iron artist thing.

I'll be doing 50 commissions (if I get that many takers, of course! derp), each being a sketch and each costing only $5. Multiple commissions by the same person are A-OK.

The themes I'd like to stick to are:
1: combat
2: evil
3: changing/modifying
4: bondage
5: overwhelming joy/bliss/freedom

You can be pretty creative with those themes! Normal commissioning rules apply, so no scat, pee, cub or injections. Most other stuff is fair game unless it really erks me. Not too much does that though :)

I'd like to start getting some slots filled now, I can't start until after next weekend and I do have Tafe three days a week, but for the four days I'm not there I'll be artin' like a mad bitch. It sounds like people are enjoying doing it, and I kinda want to get in on that since I've been so out of the art circle for a bit doing my new cookery course. After next weekend I'll be a lot more free to start artwork again, so if anyone can fill me in on what the iron artist thing is all about, I'd like to either give it a try or (if it's a sucky idea or is too hard) maybe just open for some small, cheap commissions for a little change of things :)

If I seem to have dropped off the face of the earth a bit, it's because I've been living this thing called life that we do when we're not on the intarwobs. It's a bit odd, yes, but weirdly enough I've been enjoying it. No, that's not a dig at people who live on the internet, I used to myself and it was fun for a while, but I have other things to think about now as well is all :)

I'm doing a course! I'm studying commercial cookery at polytechnic west, so I'm gonna be a cook or chef or whatever. Hopefully a chef. It's an awesome course, I had the orientation yesterday. Yay.

I'm also getting firmly back into medieval costuming and combat and having a ball with it. I'm going most days to sew up medieval clothing with my mother-in-law, who is made of awesome. We've got a stall at the Balingup Medieval Carnvale, which will be completely sweet.

Anyway, I'm still here and still open for art commissions, you know, just in case anyone cares :P

I've been very quiet lately, what with getting married, moving house and going on honeymoon, etc. The house is stilla mess of stuff so sewing is out for the moment, and I only just found my wacom tablet so I've not been able to do artwork before now, but I should be good to go on some commissions now.

I've not been around much lately, I'm incredibly busy packing up my stuff and moving.

There was a bit of trouble with the phone line so I don't know if I'll have internet once I get there, so I may be offline for a while. I still have a couple of art commissions to finish and I'll get on those as soon as I've gotten my computer set back up, but in the meantime I ask the few lovely people I owe them to to just hang on, they'll get done :)

Eesh... moving all my crap into a tiny house already full of someone's crap... quite difficult. heh.

I've been thinking of doing some sort of 'themed' art for a while now, and I came up with some idead but I've been busy and never really threw them out to people. I feel the need to draw some nasty, evil, demonic things, but I always come up with boring characters, so what about yours?

I've had a surprising amount of people email me lately asking me to make them fursuit stuff, and I feel I have to say it again - my website, though it hasn't been updated in years, is still accurate when it says I'm not open for commissions.

Seriously. I can't take them right now - I still have suits I owe people from YEARS ago and I made myself a promise that I'd not take on a single commission until I finished every single one. I've kept that promise, and until they're all with their respective owners I shall not be taking commissions.
Not only that, but I'm also getting married in april, am looking for a proper job, am considering doing a cookery course, am moving house and... yeah. busy.

I -am- however still taking art commissions. If you're waiting on a reply for one of those or something, don't worry - I've not forgotten you, I've just been ill since boxing day and am only getting over a rather nasty bout of infection. ick. Being sick in summer = teh ultimate suck.

Ok! So yes. No suit commissions. I may never take them again, but I'm not sure.

Your standard conbadge from me includes a bust or half body of your character with their name on a simple background, lined and digitally coloured. A digitally painted one will be lineless and more detailed. It's digital work, so the final copy is emailed to you so you can print it off at your leisure.

I've not been called up to go to work for over a week now, and to offset my work on fursuit stuff I'd really like to get some sketches churned out.

Normally my sketches are $10+ depending on detail, but if people want to get in fast I'll do them for $5+, or just generally go cheap. Also - these things are FAST. If it's something simple, I'll have it to you wihin the hour usually, not counting tweaks or lots of detail or stuff like that. If you want a fast, fun sketch... yeah!

A lot of good, surprisingly - I am now engaged and quite, quite happy. Also have a 'real' job, though it's only part time so I'm still on the narrow end of skint. I've been away for a little bit. I've moved house, been internetless for two weeks, become single, been jobhunting, been involved in huge amounts of medieval combat and gotten a rather large bruise collection.

Things are different but kinda good - and will be awesome once job happens.

Just wanted to say to all the people that have watched, faved and commented lately, thanks :)

I don't do the 'reply to every comment, watch or fav' thing because I don't really expect it in return, but I really do appreciate it and it makes my day to read some of the lovely stuff people say, and also some of the constructive crit I get. :D

So yus - aside from today being ruled by Lord Migraine and his band of merry Hallucinatory Roaches...

I shall be doing some fast commissions over the next week. Away for the weekend, so when I come back I'll take some specific commission types, set a price and put up slots. The reasoning behind this is that I'm in dire need of funds to buy safety gear for combat, which is... expensive. Every bit counts, and whether I have to do 70 sketch commissions at tenbux a pop or ten crazy detailed mad paintings at 70 per or whatever, it needs to happen.

Usual commish prices, I was thinking about reducing them but I just reduced the whole lot lately due to bad ecenomy stuff, so... yah. Kinda getting to the stage where I can't reduce them much more. Only offering some types of commissions - IE the ones that will be done FAST. I'm hoping to have these done within a few days of receiving payment at longest - proper speed art but without the drop in quality :P

This weekend should be interesting, I'm going to a dagger tourney with my new crew, House Darksun. They're teaching me to fight and it rocks :P
Thing is, I need clothing to wear to the feast on saturday night, so I've had to do an incredible makeshift job using fabrics I just had lying around. My plan is that if it looks shite and people ask, I'll say I'm French and it's the latest fashion. :|
