Posted 13 years agoYo! Back from MFF and it was soooo awesome! 'twas my first MFF so i was really excited ^.^ I got to meet pretty much everyone i planned on meeting except for a couple people =/ and 
roscotl said he would be there but was lying V.V

Anyway! I did have a lot of fun despite a few bumps between a couple of my room people. Some of the highlights for me were meeting
modemredpill and 
blastgoggles, hanging out with them and 
knuxlight x3 they're hilarious in the same room xD awesome people. Also got to meet 
lyonlover who was also rather awesome. I was a total fanlion about meeting these guys!
Got to see
liam_raion again and very much enjoyed it cus i missed him D:
'nother highlight was, funny enough, the dead dog dance! i danced with a few of the dancerfurs

kwik and they loved what i did :O thank you to them for putting up with mah shyness and stuff. 
razzy6 kinda drafted me into dancing with him later that night at the dead dog xD had a blast with him. I'm gonna miss all mah peeps and can't wait til FWA to see everyone again!

Posted 13 years agoAnd thus ends my wonderfully interesting weekend at Mephit furmeet. I had a lot of fun meeting up with last years crowd, meeting new peeps and getting to know old peeps better. I dare say I'll not forget this con due to the double dose of tornado warnings we got xD an all and all satisfying weekend though. Thanks to all mah roomies for helpin me have such an awesome weekend! Sparkle lion had fun, Sparkle lion happy, Sparkle lion out! ^.^ see you bama furs this friday for

I got to train!
Posted 13 years agoSo things have been going pretty well at work, lately, aside from a couple things that have come up. The most exciting right now is that I've gotten the opportunity to exercise the meaning of my new position! Training someone!
I've had my first trainee since i became a trainer ^.^ I got to train a new girl on the pizza station for 3 days, teaching her all of what she needs to know about pizza station. I was told that i was the only trainer our assistant manager trusted with the task of training her. Needless to say that made me feel pretty good about my performance at work!
Training her, i wasn't as nervous, nor was it as difficult, because i already knew the girl as it turned out. She's a friend and former coworker of my roommate who used to work at Gamestop! I did have a lot of fun training her and she seems to be well on her way. Hopefully she makes me proud since she has her first shift by herself this weekend *fingers crossed* I do have full faith in my trainee and my training abilities. (plus i'll be stopping by the store to check up on her, just in case things get crazy).
I shall post up another journal elaborating on the things that have come up at work. It involves a coworker and i being victims of harassment. (unbelievable, i know right?) But for now i'm gonna get to bed. been working a lot recently, making up hours before weekend of MFM. Take care all! Sparkle lion out!

Posted 13 years agoKay, So this week has been a great one so far! Nothing but good has been going on really. Had a nice relaxing off day on Monday, got some extra hours tuesday. The real fun started Wednesday after a rather fun day of work x3 I went to visit altairis in Narnia, with muffins in hand. I got to play with Aslan!(more like his husky named nanuk). Had a great dinner at Olive Garden with he and his Dad and i had an awesome time! An overall awesome day and night.
Today(thursday) was the day i'd been waiting for for a little while. Promotion day! I, along with one of my roomates and several others from work, were promoted to red shirt trainers at Newk's! For me, this means that now instead of only working pizza and sandwich as an hourly, I'll be working as a Back of house trainer for those two departments, as well as the salad station (still making an hourly wage btw). I also get a raise! Which is never a bad thing of course! I'm excited to wear my red shirt tomorrow for the first time. ^.^
Also this week, two things i ordered in the mail came in. One being a lion king alarm clock which is rather adorable, and the other being a surprise for someone! I can't wait til the furmeet tomorrow so i can continue my week of awesomeness and hang around furries!

My Fourth of July And Friday furmeet!
Posted 13 years agoSooo late journal and stuff, yeah i know! but hey, better late than never right?
Anywho, my fourth of July was pretty awesome. The best one i've had to date! I spent this holiday with the furs of furironcity, watching "thunder on the mountain" at railroad park. I woulda felt very weird being there without them, funny enough, cus i hate crowds x.x 'specially people i don't know. But it was a lot of fun being there with them and watching altairis and 
vil-sumwolf walk around in suit afterward! I went home reluctantly, but with a smile on my face cus i just had an awesome time! I had some people at work asking me "how was your fourth?" and "what'd you do for your fourth?". I just responded with "Eh, nothin big, just normal stuff" or "watched fireworks with a couple of friends" x3 pretty fun inside joke to have! So thanks guys for making this 4th of july the best one i've ever had!

thatjaredwolf and had a blast! everyone loved the brownies i brought and the suiting was awesome. I was amazed at the precautions the restaurant actually took to prepare for the suiters! It was really sweet of them. I'm glad everyone who came was able to, and hope to see all of those who couldn't in the future. And i'm happy to say that NO ONE left without a hug x3 The rest of my weekend was spent hanging with some pretty cool furdoods on two separate days. I can only hope sunday is as cool and fun as friday and saturday were xD Well Anyrawr, that's all for me! Sparkle lion out!

FWA experience!

This years FWA for me was SOOO much better than last years. it was also the best con experience I've ever had for several reasons. I did everything i planned to do, and even a little more. Patched things up with an old husky friend of mine. met up with everyfur i met last year and caught up with em. Let's seeeee, if i had to pick out some highlights..
- My rooming situation was just amazing. Pool side room? yeeaaah that was pretty sweet. I got to get to the pool for once. xD My roomates were awesome. thanks to leon183arun 
okamioni and 
kinyin for putting up with me and being so funny(drunk) and awesome(drunk) the whole weekend ^.^
- For me, FWA was absolutely 100% Drama free!! I don't think i need to say how awesome that is!
- I got to wear a fursuit partial made by :okamioni:. I modeled it for her and made it look rather lovely. I actually got away with keeping my identity concealed from a few local furs, which was pretty funny xD If you don't know who it was by now, well......it was me >.>......yeeeaaaah...
- I auditioned for the fursuit dance competition! which made me veeery nervous. This leads me to my NEXT highlight!
- I made the audition and was able to dance in the fursuit dance competition >=O It was so much fun getting to meet all the 'popufur' dancers and dance on the same floor as them. they were a lot of fun, gave me some encouraging words (thanks guys, and gals) and made me feel so welcome in the furry dance community. - Because of my cutesy fursuit partialing, I got a free stuffed aminal from someone :O it's so cuuuute! and it's a lion! MINE!
Sooo all in all, FWA this year was just amazing xD I wouldn't change anything about it. It was even fun leaving because okamioni and i had a few gigglefits in the car over things that happened.
Again, thanks guys so much for an awesome FWA and for those of you who aren't local, I can't wait to see you again!

Furry Fiesta! Decisions decisions!
Posted 13 years agoAlright so here's the 'dilemma.' I do plan on going to Furry Fiesta! the only problem is, my ride that WAS going, is no longer going, so My choices are either find a flight, or drive myself. If I drive myself, i'm lookin at a 10 hour drive, but saving money, so that may be the better option. In stating this, I'm wondering if anyone here locally is also going to FF and wants to maybe carpool with me! It would make the drive Sooo much more tolerable and keep my mind off of the driving! If anyone's interested, or you know anyone that's interested, let me know peeps! ^.^
Can't wait to hit FF. Still thinking of outfits to fit the theme. Gonna have to ponder some awesome battle outfit xD I'll think of somethin!
