Sup!

Had my eye surgery yesterday and im pleased to say all went really well, only took in totes 12 minutes for them to use the microkeratome on each and and to lazer them both c: was slightly painful but damn quick so not really a problem

Was hazy and scratchy yesterday but today all feels really well, bright things give off a glare and will do for a few more days so I cant stay on the laptop for more than an hour or so. I'll be able to start work again on Monday but have to wear eye protection when cutting fur or doing any resin work (drilling/sanding/etc)

IM SO HAPPY almost 20/20 vision after only a day or healing ;u; eeeee!

Hey all!
Looking for a very specific fur here and im going around the forums as my last resort, I literally cannot find a fur close to this colour (The customer does not wish me to use DF fur or NA-GG from imstuffedfur) This is the fur currently used http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums.....nbadgerfur.jpg but the customer did not like the 'shine' of the fur.

So I wondered if anyone had some from local finds?

Hey all1

Turns out I will be going to Eurofurence this year, I cannot describe to you the pure excitement that Im feeling. GUYSOMGKJDAESD.

I've booked my flights and travel (well, in the UK) and im going to register this week~ I'll be taking a costume with me, though it wont be Faru! :D

I've never been to Germany before, I've been to so many countries and never by myself/away from parents so this is like a massive adventure, I've heard Germany's a lovely place @u@ AHHH who else is going this year~?

I've recently signed up to the Sleepwalk for my local St.Andrews Hospice in Grimsby http://www.standrewshospice.com/! 6th-7th July

The sleepwalk is 11 miles starting at midnight and ending whenever you cross the finished line! (Im hoping to take around 2-3 hours this year~) There are hundreds of us who walk for this charity, the hospice receives funding through the generosity of local people and Charity events such as this! It was fantastic last year and im so excited to be in it this time :D This year I have started to train up early (4 miles a day!) Im hoping to also do the walk in-costume of some sort and get my group to join in, as its a sleepwalk I think i'll sew together some Kigurumis! (like these http://www.kigs.co.uk/)


For the donations, any penny counts! I'd love to see anything from £1 and onwards, though I will be sketching for those who donate £8 or more! (Examples seen here~http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee364/FarukuCostumes/Headsketches.jpg) as a thank you :) As well I will make a journal after the walk to pimp out all those who have donated for the walk (and maybe if I can film during the walk I can give you all a mention ♥)

My gosh guys, I really cant begin to describe how awesome that con was!

This year was my first confuzzled, or furry con in general and I had no idea what I was expecting but was blown away with how amazing the hotel looked, the theme, the props, the dealers den, the staff EVERYTHING had no fault! There were some lovely people around that I got to meet and finally had a chance to put faces to names :D

Gosh I could really just create a list of allll the people who I'd like to thank but its far too many to list :'D buy you all know who you are ♥

Didn't do a whole lot of suiting as I was in the dealers den quite a lot but the times that I did were funny as hell, so much good times! The den had some amazing people in there that I wish I'd talked to a little more but was a bit too busy on the table Saturday and Sunday to go and wander around :(

I really dont know what else to say! Thank you to all who bought various fluffy ears and tails from me at the dealers den, you guys are awesome! Feel free to send pictures of you wearing the bits and pieces you purchased I'd love to see them all and maybe include them in my report for uni :D (a big collage of all the photos could be awesome~)

I found some real rare furs in the bottom of my box today and planned out all the things im gonna make for my dealers table (This'll be my first table ever so im looking forward to it!)
Should have a good 20 or so tail keychains, 10 or so handpaws, 10-15 Tails, 10 or so ears, some assassins creed pendants im casting, Badges and a ready-to-wear partial!
Ohoh! and on the spot artwork ;D

Hey gang,


Im sorry its been so quiet on the costume front! I have two new university projects that are sapping up a lot of my time leaving little to take on new projects or commissions. Gina Hyena will be underway on the 6th-9th when I get back to my uni house to start casting and installing eyes, jawset, hinges etc.
Also between that time I'll be shaving down, airbrushing and finishing up Taya's dragon arms and tail. I now have a lovely new pair of clippers so cutting through that long fur will be so much easier and neater now :)
Then I have Andryx's feetpaws to fur and tail to sew up an airbrush in January~
I have my lovely assistant coming down in February time to build two new suits with me (one will be my new personal half-suit) and after that I'm planning on a couple of 'pre-mades' one will hopefully be for sale before or at Confuzzled 2012 (which im amazingly excited for!)

Ok guys, im receiving notes and emails left right and centre on quotes, pricing and people interested in fursuits. I am currently not open for any quotes or pricing enquires, I opened this fall for new orders and have filled the slots until spring next year.
Thank you to those who have interest in purchasing my work, but these emails are coming in everyday and I haven't got the time to answer them all, and I dont want to answer with a copy pasta 'were not open for quotes' So heres a journal explaining why I cant answer these emails. Im really sorry guys, If I could take on more projects I would, but im a full time university student as well as fursuit builder so my time is very limited all ready :(

Evening!

Halloween-
Going to be away for a couple of days at a Halloween shindig in good ol' Leicester. It'll be my first Halloween night ever in fursuit so I hope it doesn't scare the kids too much (but im totes gonna switch the LED eyes on) so excpect some awesome glow-y pictures!

Full suit for Sale-
Right guys. Im going to be selling my current fullsuit (Faru) as I've kind of realised why I never totally enjoyed fursuiting in original character costumes, there are one or two character that i'd LOVE to create and theyre both game characters, and I always felt right in my old Red XIII costume but never any other, so im going to stick to cosplay/game character costumes! Maybe until I think of or find a character of mine that would look good and be suited to a fursuit/
SO. Faru will go out on Halloween for the last time, come home get cleaned up and washed + airbrushed ready to be put up on Furbuy! So keep a look out for that ;D

Birthday
Im so excited for this, as apparently my flatmates have planned something epic. But they're not telling me what ;_; So to current customers or people who have emailed me, I may be off around the 6th november as I've got to go see a few people here and there!
