General | Posted 8 years agoHello all, ye yes.. I know, my activity as of late has been.. needless to say shitty. Sadly feeling bad does not often helps motivate ones self to work. BUT I am back now and back too it.
Now Quick Dip is late, pages are being worked on as I speak and will be uploaded at the end of the month, and will not fall behind again in future.
Commissions and those outstanding, are also being worked on, so sorry if you have been left to wait with very little contact on my part, but rest assured, this Roo ALWAYS delivers, you will get everything and will not leave you lot waiting any longer.

General | Posted 8 years agoLooking for a skilled animator who has the time and the interest to join me in a collaboration project I have wanted to get into for quite some time. I could animate myself as I have a little knowledge of it, but for what I have in mind I need a pro to really knock this out of the park.
So if you know of someone who is a good animator or if you are one yourself and have come across this journal, please get in contact and help create his sexy idea.
BUT this will not be a outright request for time, if you do decide to get involved there will not only be major credit for your animation skills but payments based on the amount of work you produce, in short I am seeking to hire an animator to bring to life what I draw.

Final update and request
General | Posted 9 years agoJust wanted to let you all know that my dad is now out of the hospital and is back, home happy as can be. It is still early to relax just yet, but I hope and think things will go well. I just wanted to thank you all once again for your kind words of support, it has meant a lot too me and has reminded me that regardless if your a friend or a stranger, this community truly has many honest and kind supportive people within it.
But as the situation has progressed I have found out more in regards to the day my dad had his attack and I would like to share with you what my dad went through. The night it happened my father (who is in the military) was checking the security of the rear most gate of the garrison that he is stationed at. It was late and with high elevation and horrid English weather, it was easily a cold if not bitter night.
When the attack happened the garrison he was stationed at was down to a guard crew of only ten men, each one spread out preforming their various duties, so my dad was all alone when his heart attack happened. So as it took hold my dad remembered to start coughing as to ensure his chest would compress (something I did not know) to keep his heart going, and shambled for over two miles in the dark, cold, wet night all by himself to get help, which he inevitably received.
This show of strength from my dad has reaffirmed my belief that he will push on and get better, but the end result has had a long lasting affect upon my family, emotionally and financially. So what I am to ask next is nothing short of a plea for help, and I feel weak in myself as I have never asked a single person in my life for any assistance or drop of charity. I never for a moment thought that I would be asking the community for this kind of support, but needs must.
Unlike others, I have seen and or heard about, who plea and beg the community for money and give nothing of value in return is something that I can not bring myself to do. My fathers incident has for the better lack of the word, near bankrupted my family and as their son I wish to help support my parents, undoubtedly a feeling we all share and can agree upon.
In doing this I wish to reiterate that what I am asking is nothing more than a promise; to all those that chose to help and assist me to provide something, I want to at least give value to you as repayment or reward for your generosity and kindness. So what I would like to ask of the community is support, not free money.
To any and all who read this and wish to help me, may I direct your attention to my Patreon, in supporting me for a minimum of two dollars a month you can really help me, help my father on the road to recovery, and at least get a continuous comic series, I do not wish to take without offering anything in return. You will not only be helping me to progress within the community and strive more to provide better quality art, but you will also be helping me help my dad on the road to recovery.
Thank you for reading this, their is NO obligation whatsoever, I just wish to offer and provide something worth while for your continued support, thank you. And thank for those who have supported me already and who have made it possible for me to be an artist within the community here.

2 Update on my dad
General | Posted 9 years agoI just wanted to say thank you to all of you and your kind, supporting words and prayers, as helpless as I have felt recently, never in my life have I been given so much support and love from any community.
I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, and if I had the memory power for it, would engrain every single name I have come across and one by one give you a fantastic character reference to the big man above. It is hard to see anyone you care deeply about go through such a touch and go ordeal yet alone it being a key member of your family, one that has raised, taught, protected, provided and was the second party bringing you into the world.
But I am almost speechlessly overjoyed to say that my dad has survived the night, and when Skype calling him today I broke down into tears of joy to see my dad sitting up right with wide eyes a big smile, cognitive, chatty, alert and not sluggish at all. He looks great and the doctors are super happy with his progress, his stats are also apparently very good, to be honest. He looks so remarkably well that upon seeing him you think he is only in hospital for a broken toe jet alone cardiac issues.
They are keeping in just another day, a final 24 hours of observation just to be absolutely sure, then after that they are kicking his ass out and he gets to go back home. My poor mum did mention though that he will be on heart medication for the rest of his life, BUT I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE MY DAD BACK. He may be on pills the rest of his life and live as a health obsessed, exercising rabbit for the rest of his days, I would much rather have that than to carry him to a six foot hole in the ground.
Once again thank you all so much for your kind support, my mother knows of your prayers and support towards my father as I believe every little helps, she and my dad send their love and thanks back to all of you and I could not help but feel true pride and honor being one in this lovely community, I will strive to do more and show my thanks and support for every here in the work I do, thank you all so much.

Update on my Dad

Well my dad just had his procedure and he is awake, all be it a bit late in the UK at the moment.
Needless to say I broke down when I Skype called him, it was difficult to see this living gorilla tank of a man that looks like he eats .50 BMG's like candy corn, so tired a disheveled.
But much like my dad, he kept me grounded, I told him how much I loved him and in his own words, and I quote.
'' You need not worry about me son, and I love you more than the world itself, that goes without saying. Don't worry me lad, this is only a change of life, a stop gap, I will endure and evolve and survive. I still have a lot of living to do and I wont go until I know my babes are safe, secure and happy in life, i'm not done being your dad yet.''
Needless to say this made me smile and brought comfort..I don't know what it is about my dad, it could be that he's an old fashioned Scottish Southern Highlander that makes me believe him. Him saying that he will win and endure that makes me hold out hope and keep strong.
Its still early yet and he has 48 hours until the doctors can contemplate giving him his marching out orders, and I know you will never see this dad but I love you and you are my inspiration, you taught me how to be a real man, to care and love those that mean the world to us and how to fight and protect others from bullies and those who would do harm to us and to those who could not protect themselves. Thank you dad for teaching me how to not be a bleeding heart millennial, that hard work pays off and that the hard things in life only makes our family stronger, but above all else thank you for being my dad.
So in keeping true to my fathers strength I will also push on and become better.

General | Posted 9 years agoI am sorry to say that today I will not be streaming, earlier on today my mother called all the way from England to tell me that my Dad had lost the ability to breath suddenly and was air lifted from work to hospital.
Up until now the severity of his condition was unknown except fro shortness of breath, only then a little while later to have my mother in a fit of tears that he had a heart attack and is currently still having them while wide awake. Though as of this moment they are apply a STENT to his heart and I am still waiting to hear what will happen.
I have never vented like this, especially about close family things, but I am really scared, I live in California and my situation and my ability to stay here has been as of late fading. Now this.. I honestly feel numb, I don't know what to think or react, but all I know is that i' on the other side of the world and if anything happens.. I fear I will miss my chance to tell him how much I love him.
This situation has nearly pushed me over the edge, my situation here, legal, but struggling to keep ends met and now this situation with my dad may end up causing the death of Fasttrack....
The next 48 hours are critical.

The Return of QuickDip

It has been a bit of a bumpy road. After dealing with more power outages [literally one everytime it rains here lasting a day or more] and some days without water, we have been packing a lot of boxes up and trying to sort ourselves for leaving the place here. We have to be ready to jump the gap of leaving this apartment fast when it happens. Been preparing and throwing away a lot things either we cannot take or know wont be lasting the transit. Been reducing our budget and food intake as well, sticking to water only and cheap meals. Doing everything we can to weather out this before we try to escape the pit.
Despite all this, there has been a shortage of time for me to work. But now that everything is boxed and mattresses are sitting on floors I can get back to here until the move occurs. So some of the things in store.
QUICKDIP HAS RETURNED!
It is being worked on and moved to Patreon. For those familiar with it, you know some of the cast at hand and what is in store. However, I can assure you it is nothing like the old comic. With updated art, a new series of pages leading up to the event with more story and developed characters, this QuickDip will be everything you loved about the old but polished and shined to be the new and improved that it was meant to be. Additionally, QuickDip Volume 2, the long awaited sequel will come too!

I will be getting back to the streams. It has been far too long, and I've had moments of not being able to even access the net [first world problem I know, but it is REALLY hard to go without the tech] I now will get back to the swing of it all. Roo Week Ends
General | Posted 9 years agoHey all, so first off sorry for not getting this out yesterday, but we had some dumb guys drive their truck into our apartment's sign and knock off the letter "K" and then continued and turned towards the corner and proceeded to also crashing into the box that houses the electric circuits for the neighborhood...so fun times for all, and not even new years eve.
We got power back though!

General | Posted 9 years agoYes I know, all be it a little bit later then I intended, given my families surprise Christmas visit and my ailing wrist, I'm happy to announce that Roo Week shall start tomorrow (22nd of December) So as you know Roo Week will revolve all around our favorite big foot pawed bouncing friends and tomorrow will start with an auction [which will be a submission posted separately to bid] where your character can be seen transforming into a Kangaroo with the very hands on touch of Scott the Roo himself. [At 12 pm PST it will be streaming]
If you have stumbled across my previous journal with detail's about this upcoming event, then you know what to expect and are more than welcome to support and post your own works, writings and animations that celebrate Kangaroo's. I'll be favoring the pieces that are sent via note to me, with a link in the description to their original post, to be submitted in the week competition. I will have the FA public vote for the number one entry to see who will get the winning prize: a free sketch piece with Scott the Roo.
I'll post a image later on with the link to the event and all rules following it. Roo fans can take it and post or fav it on their page to help promote the time spent to hype up these marsupials.

A Christmas Surprise
General | Posted 9 years agoSo I had my family come over for the holidays here!
I have been busy with arrivals and sudden plans including shopping, tree decorating, gift wrapping, and the whole slew of seasonal festivities.
I really do enjoy having them here, it's a great comfort to talk and catch up with them. Though this does put me in a small awkward placement for timing on trying to do work while at the same time not having much freedom in the small apartment space to do anything. I've only now just gotten a tiny window of time to write this in.
I'll do my best to try and get on and around during the small blips of time I have. I'm sure after a while it will calm down a bit enough for me to quietly move to the computer again. Still, I am sorry for the lack of activity I've been grenade-d with Christmas time for family.

ROO WEEK
General | Posted 9 years agoStarting Monday the 19th of December and to Friday the 23rd Will be the very first ever ROO WEEK
I have felt that kangaroo's still to this day take a back seat to most other species and uncontrollable amounts of hybrids out there, so for one week every month I intend to start and hopefully continue a whole week dedicated to the big pawed boomers we love. During that week all commissions/sketch commissions will be Kangaroo dedicated where all single characters must be Kangaroo 's or Roo like species or transforming into Kangaroo's.
Other things I will be including, or would like to implement, is the spread of Roo support and love throughout the fandom, where anyone who is interested or who love Roo's can support the monthly event by advertising Roo week on your own profile and draw, create, write, animate, ANYTHING artistic that shows your love and support.
One top of that there will also be a competition where if you feel like you wish to link and submit whatever Roo art, writings, ect ect into this small competition to be judged by the public, then please do so, I myself will offer the winner of every Roo week a double character commission with Scott the Roo himself.
So please if you support the idea of a week dedicated to big paws and tails then comment below and tell me what you think.

So those that know I have been continuing to do sketch stream commissions due to it being better for me to try and keep on top of things, as well as not overwork my wrist, which is still mending as I work and sleep with a brace.
But, I know I've had requests for it before, and I want to open up a special window for a short time for those who are interested in transformation, the TF art.
I will open sketches to all manner of transformation pieces. In these you won't be limited to post tf scenes only, and you may use any manner of means to make your characters into their newer improved selves.
The basic guidelines:
-You can have a max still of 2 full characters in each sketch
-You can still include small "panels" or hovers [such as floating hands, half shots of lower bodies of off screen characters, etc etc] and these are an additional £20 GBP
-The maximum amount of "same situation sequence" is 2 sketches. Meaning that I won't make these a sequence to pan out across the board. You can try to place what you want inside the 2 individual pages, and you may have similar tf experiences with different peeps. But no more than 2 per person/toon per experience.
-These will take a little longer to work on, tfs tend to always lean a little on the lengthier timeline since it involves more playing with and making an appealing blend rather than something horrific lol. They will also include in the sketch differences in skin or fur change [from light to dark and such] and still of course have the hatching that all sketches have.
-Growth tf is also acceptable, bare in mind that they cannot go beyond the size of a room in a house, but they can still become larger than life.
-Each character in a TF page will be £70 GBP
Of course you can note me any questions you'd like. I will still continue normal sketches as well while opening this out for the brief holiday time.

Sketch Streams Returning!
General | Posted 9 years agoHey everyone. So I have a green light to go and use my wrist again. Try to keep in moderation [naturally as any doctor will tell you]. But I can finally continue again with all the sketches once more!
I'll be sure to work on those already in the list, and try to sort through the notes again for more of the prep work and get ready to start tomorrow at 12pm Pacific Standard Time. Will be nice to get to see you all again, for those who attend lol.

I went to get my wrist checked out, and I have a mild form of carpal tunnel which is in the early stage but also in a way that the body thinks it wants to make it full blown but isn't there yet.
Currently, I am told to ease off the wrist for at least a week [they prefer 2] and I keep a hard brace on for a while during the day, then I can move to a soft one after the week or so. But I get to sleep with a hard brace for a couple months to make sure we fight it back. The soft brace helped before, but it has been something I only used while working, where it seems I should have kept it on at all times.
It makes things very difficult, you can't imagine how much we twist our wrist and hands about to type. I feel like a Frankenstein hand which can't handle the variety that is typing. I'll try to get through the notes and post submissions as well while I keep my wrist from over working [so right handed typing and clicking only for a bit].

Sketch Stream Commissions Open

I am holding them as STREAMS. They will be streamed all at the same time every day near 12:00 pm PST. The sketches information and payment I'll handle all before hand, and then continue down the list as I reach them each day in the queue. I'll work on them for approximately 5-6 hours each day, Monday-Sunday [unless things pop up in life causing me to either push them forward or back and such].
Now, you may be wondering why I am doing this. The reason mainly being is that I need to organize and work on faster turn outs so I can complete other pieces and larger projects. The sad truth is, in order for me to continue working on more and more art, I need to be able to sustain myself and cover all the bills. As it has been, I get by with working on the commission work, but it takes a long time and a lot of hours to make one of those pieces. With how much it takes to make a full commission and to continue working on them, I don't have time to complete anything else.
With these, I am hoping I can make a faster turn around and get everything I need to keep afloat while working on things, such as Quick Dip 2, my transformation animation, and other pieces.
If I can do this with the support of you all, I hope that I can make these things a daily turn out and then you'll get to see more of the other things you would love to see too.
That's the main goal right now. If I am successful in this and I can get balanced on it all, I'll return to making full commissions again. But, in the mean time, I hope this is something that can be more favorable to everyone.

Quick Dip
General | Posted 9 years agoYep that's right Quick Dip is back, it has been nearly four long years since I have devoted any time to continuing on my very first comic. So here is am stating that in the somewhat foreseeable future, I will not only be creating the long awaited (apparently) volume 2 but I will be remaking and re-mastering all of the first comic and selling it as an annual of sorts.
EVERYTHING will be re-master, reworded, and remade with added back story, bonus features and story line of how Rowen the Otter found himself in the sticky situation in the first place.
The whole thing itself will most likely be a collection of over 200 pages of a remade issue 1 and the long awaited issue 2

Scott's secret exposed
General | Posted 9 years agoIts not well know except for a few of my close friends who I have told, but the reason as to why Scott the Roo looks the way he does and is built the way he is. Now I know for a fact that most if not all of you wont really care or find this much of a secret but if any of you have wondered why he genitals are the way they are, the canines and the digigraded foot paws instead off plantigrade, fur patters and the like.
Well its because Scott the Roo is actually a hybrid.
Yes a hybrid, He is a Kangaroo don't get me wrong but he is also part tiger. Scott, unlike his sister, takes more after his mother than his father. Being more or less majority a Kangaroo but inheriting his fathers digigraded stance, paw pads, canines and predominant but still diluted stripped pattern while his sister is more or less the reverse.
Sorry if this was not a big enough secret for all you hoping for something juicy, but I rarely get to do more Scott related things and divulge more details about him other than the sexy king beach stud you all know and love.
So while im happily letting you all know more bout Scott as a character other than a living cum cannon, please feel free to ask Scott any other questions.

Future Merchandise
General | Posted 9 years agoThis idea has been floating round my head for a while now, and I wanted to put it to you my watchers and the fandom in general. Now by no means do I think of myself as a ''Highly popular'' and ''Popufur'' these labels have ALWAYS made me cringe. But the following and support in this fandom has made it so that I do not have to get a boring 9 to 5 job again like most (not rubbing it in) and I appreciate that whole heartedly.
So now onto my idea(s) or rather the hopefully productive feedback from the community. As a general rule and to those of you who have been following me for a while or know me personally, I have gone above and beyond the call of duty to be one artist with any type of recognition (whatever that's worth lol) to stay out of drama, furry or non furry related, im a Teflon Roo I guess and that has allowed me to do many things but has also become my curse. What I mean by that is because of my ''lack'' of direct involvement or approachability in the community, apart from being a smut peddler. It has left me wondering what I can do to further advance myself within the fandom and no I do not mean become more popular or renowned.
I would like to start creating more than just art for all of you and offer things totally different to what you would usually find in this fandom. Now don't get me wrong most of you will be thinking ''Oh he wants to start making a brand or something along those lines'' and yes your most certainly right, but I want to do it differently.
Now within my time in the fandom and going to the handful of fur cons, this Roo has happily discovered that there are some many brilliant gems that make up this smut house we call the furry community. I have met people who are doctors, engineers, computer wizards, military, or other highly skilled individuals, Physic's gods, as well as the highly gifted in the arts department. Though i have found very few people my age who have had the experiences that I have and the skills that I have come across and learned over my short span on this planet and I want to use them to give more to you.
Now before you start instantly bombarding the comments below with suggestions like ''more comics'' or ''more animations'' I have considered these and will be doing more of them in future , but what im asking YOU is what would you like to see, what else would YOU love to have and own, spend your hard earned money on and have just for yourself and be proud of owning. No comment is irrelevant or unoriginal, you are the people we artist types cater for in order to pay our bills so if we can not evolve along with you and branch out then we all just fade away or lose our appeal.
I have idea's in mind and are set on doing them so this surprisingly longer than three lines journal from Fasttrack may seem a little confusing if not completely irrelevant, but unless I know what all of you would love to see or have and own more of, then no matter what I do or think I should create, its pointless if no one wants it.
So please feel free to post what you would love to own or see more of on offer below and forgive the rather sporadic poorly garbled together journal of a Roo half out of his head on cold and flu medication. lol

A silly dream
General | Posted 9 years agoYes what im about to say sounds stupid and oh so silly. But I have gotten to that age where I want to work on a project car and for the longest time I have been fighting the urge to get my dream project car, a classic muscle car, beast that I will pass on to my Joeys lol when im too old to chase tail.
My dream project car is a 1967 four door Chevy Impala, yes I know that millage will suck on that beast of a car but its something itching In back of my head for a good long while now and im trying to refrain from getting one to work on....Though if anyone has one in good condition for sale and tease me about it... I might just buy it off you. ^^
