Posted 15 years agoThat's right, I've kicked art-blocks arse so hard it flew to the moon. Back in action, I daresay.

I might be actually trying some livestream at some point, would be nice to keep me motivated on actually drawing instead of getting constantly distracted by random crap I tend to do, and would offer anyone who would be interest (though I highly doubt there are more than... none?) to see how I get things done, and listen to my fantastic choice of music, as well as hearing my... sexy voice. Hrrrrr~

But yes. As for the art itself, now that I have gotten my clean project done, yes, those of you who have been waiting, I will be drawing more sexy stuff. What it will be, is a surprise, it's something 'new' from me. Tari's pin-up will have to wait for a while.

I will be trying to draw a picture for my friends nice little project next, but the sketching is progressing more or less slowly... as with some other sketches I will hopefully get done eventually. And perhaps I will also write a bit more, Dark & Azure sky needs more plot advancement I think...

As for totally unrelated to art, I just FINALLY, AFTER WAITING FOR 5 WEEKS to find out my order was cancelled, got my hands on a very neat audio CD. I told the bastards where I originally ordered it to pretty much go fuck themselves, very subtly said, and ordered it from somewhere else. I got it in 3 days |D

I could get all pissed about it, but I am trying to keep an optimistic mind right now.

One lucky fella / gal will get a free request from me. However... I am not giving it so open handed without some dramatic sense of competition! Competition where the only way to affect your chances of winning it, is to merely participate. After all, it all comes down to LUCK.
- All commission principles of mine still apply. You can find them on my frontpage, in red text. Also be noted that I am no miracle worker, I am limited to my skills (and time).
- Also forgot to note, my story-based characters (those involved in my stories I write, duh!) are off-limits, in case you wanted some, um, action with them. Sorry.
- Instead of making a classic "first gets it", I will be doing it like this: The first TWENTY, that's right, 20, commenters on this journal (unless clearly stating they do not wish to participate and comment just for the lulz) will be competing on a little lottery, based completely on luck, as stated before. Active watchers should have no trouble finding this journal to drop a comment. I will, after I see FIT (as I am somewhat busy atm, but shouldn't take TOO long. I will inform when I close the participation and begin the lottery.), randomly pick ONE of the twenty (empty slots will be ignored) who get's his / her request. I will note it on a journal as well as personally send a note to the lucky bastard.
IMPORTANT! Do NOT post your request! This will prevent me from the urge to pick the "cherries" from the top and cheat so I could draw something I found more to my liking.
All participants will have equal chances of winning, I will use a handy randomizer that picks a number between 1 to 20.

Ahem. Delay. I've been a bit under the weather, thanks to my brother infecting me with his damn flu. It's getting better already, most probably cured by tomorrow. But it kinda did slow me down.
However, before you go all batshit crazy, the clean linework is nearly done on the comic, as well as nearly 100% redone speech! (Not to mention improved expressions and the amazing fact that the Hydra now has ears! *gasp* )
I might NOT be able to get it done by Sunday, as tomorrow I need to satisfy my urge to dri-

So yes, I'm 22 now, one year closer to the inevitable, huhuh~
Ignoring that, here's a little update overall, if anyone cares to read.
The comic page isn't progressing too fast as I am experiencing random and violent thunderstorms around here at the moment... That somehow seem to know when I'm at work so whenever my shift ends, the thunderstorm starts raging.
So... ironically... now that I have found the motivation to finish the comic page, it seems the forces of nature are preventing me doing so. Har har! So! I must test your patience EVEN further! ^.=.^
After that, I have a commission that is a rather nice change to the usual more or less pornographic stuff I tend to draw.
Also possibly some more sketches done at work (har har) will be uploaded later on.

Oil because I finally changed the bleeding oil in my car along with the filter. Purrs like a cat, it does now!
Blood because I donated blood like I've been doing for 3 years now. I will actually do a picture encouraging blood donations, possibly two versions. A one where you are kindly asked to donate blood. And a one where your authorization to get your blood is not required, hur hur! <3
Seriously, donate blood.
Barbecue and beer because I will be having a BBQ party that lasts for two days this Friday. So don't expect me to be on during that time, I am too busy eating slaughtered animals and drinking beer and booze.
Thunder because there's lots of that in the air at the moment, causing electrical problems and forcing me to close the PC once in a while.
... Which brings me to the hydra.
I have NOW OFFICIALLY started working on Page 6 again. I will finish it next. You heard me right.
So hold on tight, fellas, the time is nigh!

Indeed, it is a heat wave over here right now, like in most of the Europe me thinks. Only relief comes with the random thunderstorms. Whoop.
Posting this to merely point out that I might be working more slower than usual, which... is very slow already. This damned heat just makes it impossible to focus on anything, or do anything to begin with. Today, it was 32 ºC+ outside (89.6 ºF ), which is, to someone like me who loves more chilly weather, INSANE.
Oh god, I am MELTING!
Not really, but it nearly feels like it. Thankfully this fan works, at least.
So hold on tight, rithnok (and anyone else expecting things from me) I am working on your request slowly but surely!

However, the most brutal impact will go onto my stories. Work is kinda filling the time I used to use for writing my stories with, so... Well, let's just say that you might have to wait for a while until I publish anything new in the literature front!

Work, finally?
Posted 15 years agoAfter over one year of waiting, I finally got myself back to some work. You know, paying work, working in shifts, getting paid by the hour? That kind of thing.
And I am happy. Frankly, I am VERY happy. It is in the same place I worked before I went to the army, a factory that mainly manufactures steel coils. Mmm. I could still remember the smell of liquid zinc!
And the pay is not bad! ^.=.^
... However. It is, after all, like most things in this world, a double edged sword. It WILL cut my time available to express myself, or, plainly put, draw things. Sooo... I'll try to get that page 6 sketch done by this week so I have something to work on when my next possible time to draw arises.

Commissions status is closed at the moment, I am busy working on a double commission (For eodred ). I will inform when I am open again.
Also, for the fans of the Hunting A Hydra comic, I have determined to get it done after these commissions. Hold on tight, the wait is nearly over! Perhaps have a sketch done at some point as well.
Sad but true : I gave up restraining myself from my few cigarettes per day. So yes, I am smoking again. Rant about the health issues if you wish, I will simply ignore them.

So. Artwise, I've TRIED to keep myself busy... but... I'm such a carefree slacker, but hopefully, I will get the commission(s) done ASAP, then my DA kiriban, and then work on something of my own. Including the new comic page number 6 people have been asking about, and introducing a new character... a male one (wait what?).
However, as busy as I am, I still cannot neglect the fact that you have, in all your generosity of visiting your humble FC's page, nearly gathered 5,000 pageviews already. Thank you for that. So... as a reward for you watchers & random bypassers out there, I declare my 5,000 pageview kiriban an offical "go".

Posted 16 years agoYup, I got my net fixed today, surely didn't take my time there. When I want something fixed, it GETS fixed. So yeah, I had to replace the old router, and, well, that's pretty much it. Simple!

I've always had bad luck with computers and such, and it strikes again!
So, I just recently got a new computer, and it works fine, and I was able to get Photoshop CS 3 on it as well, so artwise, I am safe ^^;
HOWEVER, my net just died. Yeah, utterly & completely. I was kinda expecting that to happen sooner or later, considering how crappily it worked for the last 3 months or so. I think the router is busted, I don't know, but whatever the cause is, it means I won't be able to be on the net for now ('xept on this PC on the polytechincs, hur hur hur!). I'm trying to get the net back on working as soon as I can, and hopefully, when I do, I'll have some new art to post as well.
Anyway, hopefully I'll see you all regularly again soon!
