Wii stream went well!
Posted 15 years agoThanks for those that came for the stream (and stuck around after to finding out that i WAS streaming a wii game and not drawing) I think it went pretty well!
I'm not the best streamer/Let's Play-er, but I think I did an alright job at it and kept people entertained, even if it was a little slow paced (hell nearly 15 minutes is watching me trying to colour in between the lines and failing badly)
A uncut recording is on the library on my streaming account if you wish to sit through around half of Silent Hill Shattered Memories. Bare in mind that if i'm talking about things that don't make sense, it's usually me referring back to people in the chat. Stuff like that :3

Posted 15 years agoI cut it short tonight, Steam has been acting up due to the past few days, theres been huge sales on and the databases are panicing with so much requests to buy stuffs.
That and procaster was being VERY fussy tonight. When I stream, sure the visual quality looks a bit blurry, but I keep it going at a steady pace, to my knowledge, no lag, no choppiness etc. I manage to keep my streams around 22-25fps at a near constant level for hours upon end.
Tonight, my frame rate kept on plummeting down and down, cutting off the stream, restarting, not registering my mic at one point etc. All of these things that shouldn't be there. With all of this, I had problems just loading the game, and had difficulty playing it due to lagginess caused from steam stressing out and procaster being a nuisance.
Now don't get me wrong, sure, I get lag in my game streams, but I make sure to minimise it by closing all programs I have no need for to be open. and when I'm struggling to get higher than 6fps, there's a problem.
Anyway, sorry for the inconvience I might of caused but thanks for coming guys, it's very nice seeing people being interested in it :)

I'll say that I did know everything about the law, like you'll be fine if you don't intentially look at the stuff etc. However I was thinking more about other laws that the 'Cartoon Law' can be attached to.
law law law law law. It's a good thing i'm not speaking this, my tounge would be all tied up!
But as I've said," i might only be gone for one day!" What I said was essentially true, sorry if I upset anyone etc but I was just taking some precautions, because it's better to be safe than sorry right? I never intended to go away for good anyway.

Colour w/ Simple Shading - $60
Colour w/ Detailed Shading - $80
For a picture that involves a background, expect an extra £5/$8. If a simple background (like a colour gradient) is requested, no extra charge will be made.
Pictures with additional characters may also be subject to an additional charge (most likely £2/$3 per character) depending on the difficulty of the overall picture requested.
For picture series, the prices will be adjusted and talked about in private :)

-When I come to doing your commission, please have the money ready. If for whatever reason you don't have the money, please talk to me about it and I can post-pone working on your commission.
- When it comes to payment, I like to operate on a trust system. Basically half of the commission money up front (when I come round to doing it on the list) This acts as a deposit and if you don't like the way things are going for whatever reason and want your money back, I'll happily refund you that money.
- It goes both ways, after I have finished the commission, I expect to be paid the rest! Haha

A clean up and a commission question

However, now that I got your attention; as you may of noticed on my profile and in my journal footers, I have talked about how I'm planning to start making commissions. I'm curious to those who already do/did commissions, what would be a good price range for my art?

Hello everyone, this is why I was away
Posted 16 years agoHi there everyone, I am more or less back. I've been slowly improving my time on the computer this throughout the past week, as some may have noticed my activities such as faving again and being on twitter from time to time.
I'd first like to thank
Judgement and 
SoshimoJunai for letting people know that I was gone. It really does mean a lot to me, thanks for doing that guys. Also thankyou for everyone that was expressing concerns for me too!
You don't have to read this part, this is why I was away but it's rather personal
I suppose I can tell you why I was away, Sosh was partially right in what he told you. This all started about nearly half a year ago, Hiro asked me if I would like to go to his house for his birthday party along with other friends here, like what
alexgrey did for his birthday. I was really happy at this idea and said I'd be happy to.
Now, I knew that Hiro lived a long way away (the time it took was 7 hours in total) and my paranoia kicked in, thinking things like my parents would never let me go. So I lied to my parents on that day, asking if I could arrange a trip this year to go to a friends birthday party that lived in a village nearby. They agreed to it and so I booked the tickets with Hiro and Tori.
However, I had to keep lying to my parents, such as changing names and places, little white lies that become this intricate mess that just built up and up. During this time, I was also hiding the fact that I was bisexual and that I was a furry from my parents. As days went, I was constantly getting stressed from these lies and college work.
Eventually it finally came to me actually going to see everyone at Hiro's, I did enjoy it a lot! Bar one unnessasary walk in the flooded countryside which could of avoided a lot of muddy and wet shoes and socks. However, some people there did notice that I appeared quite down during my stay, it was mainly because that I was feeling guilty all the time about it, all this pressure and stress and really struck at my depression. But going there did make me happier, I don't regret going. What I do regret is not telling my parents the truth in the first place!
Whilst going did make me feel happy, on the way back along with having an asthma attack due to running through the train station, my guilt, pressure and depression was building back up onto me. When I got home, my mum said these words: "We should do the same when it's your birthday!" At that point, I realised I had to tell her.
I did tell her the next day, however, I also told her that I was bisexual and that I was a furry. I gave her a vague definition about furries and she didn't care about me being bisexual nor furry, what she did care about however, was how I lied to her. I was then forced to phone my dad and tell him everything I had told her (bar the furries). I knew at this point, I had lost their trust completely.
I was restricted harshly, no internet, no going out, no games etc. But I was allowed my phone, thats how I got in contact with Sosh and Hiro.From there, I had a lot of trust building to do, constantly offering to do jobs for them etc. Slowly but surely, i've been regaining their trust. It hasn't been about me being a furry, like what Sosh thought. But I thank him for letting people know part of it :)
Of course, I've been punished, I'm getting no proper gifts for my birthday this year, and a trip I planned to see a friend in scotland has been canceled/delayed till next year. They did acknoledge the fact that I went and told them the truth, that it took bravery to come out like I did so I'm lucky, if they found out on their own, I would of had far worse punishments.

Serious question
Posted 16 years agoI am actually curious to those that watch me and such, I want to fully know that I have been improving. I know that I have been, but man, it's feeling like I'm improving at a very sluggish rate.
I actually want people to critique me on my work, I want to get better, I really do. Currently, I almost hate my art style with a passion and I just want to improve. I just see so many flaws with it and it really bugs me. I just seem to be really scruffy with things such as line art, colour and shading.
I just want some feedback... Getting that's pretty good and talking about the subject of the picture only works so well but I don't learn anything from that. With this journal.. I don't really want hugs of sympathy or aww, don't be so down yourself! etc , I just want to see if people will do so.
So.. Can you guys do that? Give me some critque on how to improve etc with my art? I really want to improve...

BirthdayCon 2009!
Posted 16 years agoHello everyone! I decided to give my side of how BirthdayCon went, at least... how it went from my vague memory...yeah...
Anyway! I'd like to say thankyou for inviting me, I had a great time meeting everyone, even if I didn't fully talk to everyone (I am pretty shy...) it was fun seeing the faces behind the drawings!
It all started yesterday (for me at least, I am lucky enough to live in Stockport so I didn't need long periods of time getting there, It just takes two bus rides to get to Grey [*cough*tori*cough*]s house) when I decided to check up on my FA page and such, getting myself ready to go later at 3pmish. I suddenly found myself with Pup and Grey (*cough* Tori *cough*) on Steam, telling me that the plans had been arranged and in 40 minutes we were seeing a film. So.. I started my way down to the cinema!
I got the bus down, got out and started walking towards the cinema, and directly in front of me was everyone else walking towards the cinema! And well...I realised that I didn't know what anybody looked like. And whilst on Steam, I hadn't got anyones number. So... yeah.
I even went passed them (when I had a nagging suspision that that was them) and went to sit down and wait. They then went over to a wall and rails and waited there too. Now um...This kinda went on for 15 minutes... I was even texting SoshimoJunai if he had anyones number and if Grey (*cough* Tori *cough*) was still online!And.. After a while.. I gathered up courage and headed over to the group and thankfully, it was the right group!
So.. after a few more waitings for people, we went inside to go watch District 9 and collect our sweets and drinks. The drinks machine was broken so we had to buy either warm overly priced bottles (£2.35 for a Dr. Pepper! :O ) or fanta slushies. We watched the movie, which I quite enjoyed (though, wasnt expecting the ammount of gore there was..) and then we set outside to go do things. After watching a very entertaining two pad DDR dance by Istauri, we went down to certain videogame shops for a component lead for the wii that would allow it to work on TORIs tv. After finding it at the last gameshop we went to (after finding Sega MEgadrive games and even older games!)
After that, we took the bus down to TORIs house and starts talking and such in the dining room, after a while, we all gave into the buffet that was on the table (I was one of the first admittedly) and started eating. Eventually, we all moved into the living room where people started to play Brawl and such whilst the rest watched and cheered on. During this time, poor
ChrisKitmyth was trapped and smooshed multiple times by a lot of us, including Hiro, Gully, TORI at times, partially Blue and me...I was shy doing so so I was one of those, sorta smooshing peoples. During that time, I nommed at a few people too! :3
The brawls (which I had a go on) eventually turned to Guitar Hero, to which some impressive songs on expert were played! Not by me of course, I suck at it :3 It was during this time when I started asking if anyone had any paper, luckily Hiro had sketchbooks with him so I started doodling away! Most of the doodles can be found on TORIs guest art site! One of my pictures was taken but ALAS! Time started flying on and Brawl flicked back on again followed by Mariokart, during this time, I decided I'd stay the night....Despite the fact I hadn't planned to, nor did I have another set of clothes.
Games continued to vary, at one point Street Fighter 2 and Bubble Bobble came on! At these points, people had started to do other things (A few of us were looking at Failblog) but we all remained. The heat sweat and smell levels were rising. So, mercifully, I managed to get the windows open enough to cool us down slightly (even I was overheating) I also managed to get a beer! Admittedly, a very VERY bitter one..that overflowed at times and at one point, dripped onto me, making it look like I had wet myself. Soon House Of The Dead 2 And 3 came on, and started to play on throughout the night. On, and on, and on. With the bad voice acting "When A woman says no, she MEANS it!" and referances to District 9 ("Fucking Prawns!") , zombies infected the hours.
At some point, along with more nommings of the guests as I went past, Pup had grew bored of HoTD (so had I) so he retreated to World Of Goo and Mirrors Edge. I decided to sit with him and watch (and annoy him, asking some kinda obvious questions) as I had sat next to him during the film and sort of next to him on the bus. After a while, Pup grabbed my arm and then threw it around his shoulder as he played, so...after that we were snuggling! :3
During this point, it had gotten late and people were starting to set up where they were going to sleep in the rooms (as EVERYONE had decided to stay) and most had departed to go sleep. During this time, I was having fun with Pup! Poking him in his belly made him squirm and squee, rubbing his belly made him squirm and squee, tickling his belly made him squirm and squee and rubbing him back made for some interesting results! I was softly and slowing rubbing in a circle on his back and he was squeeing and squirming, and squirming into a ball, closer onto me. He could barely talk when I was doing it and when I tried it on TORIs arm, his arm went dead. I think I have some weird rubbing powers...
After some debates (and two noms) later, the gun toting zombie shooting duo Istauri and 'Little Chirs' (Secret College Furry) switched to brawl to let everyone play. At this time, nearly everyone was asleep, we had duvets out on the floor (me and pup were saring a duvet, oooh yeah) and everyone else in the house was more or less asleep and it was heading into the early houses of the morning. After a few angry storms from the host's mother, we inevitably shut up and turned the Wii off.
We talked about stuffs for a bit and I began to do a lot of rubbings on Pup :3 Eventually, everyone fell asleep, and me and Pup were sleeping on the same duvet, more or less under the same sleeping bag, whilst snuggling :3
Morning came and.. to me, not too much happened. We had a buffet of a dinner, peoples were half asleep, some were still asleep, others were on laptops. then TORI was given a huuuge uncomfortable lecture on jobs.. and...morals...and...stuff... Sadly though, I needed to get going so I said goodbyes and gave hugs (almost forgetting some...sorry..I did give them a across the room hug though =)) and left. Then came back to collect my jacket that I forgot to take with me. Then left.
I also slurped TORI quite a few times and I think in total, I nommed a lot of people..I hope everyone had a safe journeys home and I would like to do it again! Thanks for having this shy fox!
Things to note:
- Blue has the most adorable and funniest laugh ever when tickled!
- I rubbed Pup's bare oversensitive belly :3
- I slept in the clothes I went in, and I had been on me, sweat, fat, heat... so I was very smelly the morning after

During this point, it had gotten late and people were starting to set up where they were going to sleep in the rooms (as EVERYONE had decided to stay) and most had departed to go sleep. During this time, I was having fun with Pup! Poking him in his belly made him squirm and squee, rubbing his belly made him squirm and squee, tickling his belly made him squirm and squee and rubbing him back made for some interesting results! I was softly and slowing rubbing in a circle on his back and he was squeeing and squirming, and squirming into a ball, closer onto me. He could barely talk when I was doing it and when I tried it on TORIs arm, his arm went dead. I think I have some weird rubbing powers...
After some debates (and two noms) later, the gun toting zombie shooting duo Istauri and 'Little Chirs' (Secret College Furry) switched to brawl to let everyone play. At this time, nearly everyone was asleep, we had duvets out on the floor (me and pup were saring a duvet, oooh yeah) and everyone else in the house was more or less asleep and it was heading into the early houses of the morning. After a few angry storms from the host's mother, we inevitably shut up and turned the Wii off.
We talked about stuffs for a bit and I began to do a lot of rubbings on Pup :3 Eventually, everyone fell asleep, and me and Pup were sleeping on the same duvet, more or less under the same sleeping bag, whilst snuggling :3
Morning came and.. to me, not too much happened. We had a buffet of a dinner, peoples were half asleep, some were still asleep, others were on laptops. then TORI was given a huuuge uncomfortable lecture on jobs.. and...morals...and...stuff... Sadly though, I needed to get going so I said goodbyes and gave hugs (almost forgetting some...sorry..I did give them a across the room hug though =)) and left. Then came back to collect my jacket that I forgot to take with me. Then left.
I also slurped TORI quite a few times and I think in total, I nommed a lot of people..I hope everyone had a safe journeys home and I would like to do it again! Thanks for having this shy fox!
Things to note:
- Blue has the most adorable and funniest laugh ever when tickled!
- I rubbed Pup's bare oversensitive belly :3
- I slept in the clothes I went in, and I had been on me, sweat, fat, heat... so I was very smelly the morning after

I've passed them all! I can take the subjects that I want to take at college!
Here are the results:
ICT Full Course - B
Mathematics - B
Science - C
Applied Science - C
Religious Studies Full Course - C
Art and Design - A*
Music - A (apparently I just missed out on the A*! x-x)
German - B (This was my main worry, I needed at least a B to continue German in college)
English Language - B
English Literature - A
Maths, English, Science and Religion were compulsory. Um...Is there anyone that's good with Game Maker?
Posted 16 years agoHi guys! I thought I'd update my journal again and I'd thought I'd open it with a problem I'm having. I recently downloaded Game Maker 7.0 Lite so I could practice making games so I'll be ready at College (The college I go to use the Pro version I believe). So far, my first game is going well! It's a simple platformer that is slowly getting more and more complex (invisible platforms, fake platforms, fake goal posts etc)
I've currently made 4 levels in my game, and I was hoping if someone could give me advice or a tutorial on how to do these things I'm want...(Sorry if I sound pushy..)
1. A Gravity Switch
What I was hoping for was an object in a level, where upon being touched, the level's gravity would change in the opposite direction. Mainly to make the player walk/jump/etc upside down (So when pressed, the player would then float upwards to where it hits a solid platform/floor/etc) and will resort back to normal when pressed again (So there would be multiple switches..)
2. I don't really know how to give this a name..
What I am looking for, is the player's death. When the player leaves the room, they will be restarted to the beginning of the level (I can do this much) But I want the player to be able to jump out of the room from the 'roof' to reach platforms near the top of the level without being respawned.
I would love to hear ideas and advice for this, I'll post a link of a screenshot I took of part of the game's first level! Hope these things can be done...

Posted 16 years agoHuzzah! Heehee, I've got my laptop back from the IT fairies and it's in good shape! They cleaned the entire computer, replaced the hard drive and added in some programs for me to use ^^ I never knew this laptop could play Far Cry...
Ahem, well I've got my laptop back, I just need to reinstall some programs and I should be set. Seeing as it was wiped, I need to restart my drawing.. Heck, I need to reinstall my graphics tablet drivers! Um... I don't know what else to say really...
Um... Where do I go to find OpenCanvas and Hamachi?

Hey everyone, I'm giving out a little update which goes as followed. I was expecting to recieve my laptop back from the ICT fairies but it turns out from their investigations that the hard drive really had conked out on me!
So.. the ICT fairy promised me that he'll order a hard drive for me but of course, I won't get it for free. He does have a buisiness you know ^^; So, pretty soon I'm gonna be out of £40 to fix this lapatop and be rid of the bulding bad news fox!

Posted 16 years agoHey there guys! This could sort of be a continuation of my last journal. So... in a nutshell, I can't draw and upload at the moment.
The story is this time is.. well, my laptop went kaput on me. It happened a few days ago, it was working perfectly fine then it suddenly became slow. And I mean really slow, it was freezing after about 8 types of the keyboard (which is only 64 bytes I believe) and just clicking on the start button made it panic for a few minutes.
It became so slow that it would just give up on orders that I'd give it (like open up a program) so... It's away to the IT fairies for a bit (maybe 5 days?) to be wiped clean. That seemed like the only option I could do to be honest. I know it's not the hard-drive that's at fault because when the hard drive goes, it makes a really loud grinding noise, my laptop only gives out a tiny noice that sounds a bit like a cricket and you need to be pretty close to hear it.
So... Sorry guys, all the pictures I was working on have gone and will have to be restarted at some point... It's a bit of a big blow to me, hopefully I can get it back to how it was and not have to buy a new one...

So, at the moment, my last moments of high school are drawing closer (no pun intended) its the part that everyone hates...the final exams, the only exams that are crucial for a 'better life'. So, most of my energy has been towards school. That, and picking my subjects for college and trying my look for a part time job.
Hopefully I'll try to upload things as soon as I can... if it's just a doodle.. its better than nothing right? ...Right?
Um... I think that's all!

The move was long and tiring, (I slept well that night, I can tell you that!) but I managed to get everything sorted. My room now looks like something lives in it (also, a slobby one... I should really sort my bed out and move my clothes somewhere... But I can't be bothered XD) and as you can see...I have the internet sorted! I'll hopefully start drawing soon, I just need to unpack my graphics tablet from the boxes that are lying about (or check the old house) so I should start uploading soon too =3
