i miss being as active on here and DA as i used to be, posting stuff more than once a week, being a bit more involved with the community at times, back when i had a good work ethic and motivation for art and stuff, and not worrying about sharing stuff with friends first before posting (which has been bit of a problem with waiting to share through voice chat first). but as the years have gone on, things slowed right down to a crawl, to where i have a backlog of sketches i never got to and finished pics that are many years old that don't really fit with the newer stuff and standards.

so last night i went out to see the new Live action HTTYD and i have to say it's really good, i actually found myself tearing up a bit just seeing Berk on the big screen again. and one thing i wondered about when it came to Gerard Butler playing Stoick in live action is if there was gonna be a bit of King Leonidas showing through and for one scene you do see Leonidas show through. and the flying scenes are something to experience in the theatre and with Toothless on the big screen it's like he's right there at the scale as he should be even without seeing it in 3D even found myself reaching out to touch him during the famous hand thing scene, and one thing i thought about from the trailers and from now seeing the movie there are parts where they seem to have taken some notes from the book. though there was no Terrible Terror inflation scene, and was kind of disappointed that David Tennant wasn't in it, and wasn't entire sure about how they portrayed Goethe but there were a few things i guess they would have to change up. for the Red Death i like the new design, putting her on par with kaijus. and there were some new dragons that weren't in the original movie (though 2 were in the book of Dragons in the original movie) like we see a rumblehorn, some thunderdrums, and one that was exciting for me is that we see some skrills. but yeah i found myself really enjoying it, though not as good as the original but still good, but i will be going back for more viewings. and please be respectful though some may not be happy about it but don't ruin it for others that want to enjoy it or that are happy that one of their favorite movies and franchises are back in the theatre

so my hatchday is coming up, my 29th. already. and all i'd like is stuff involving Toothless, him either fat or getting inflated, but the one thing that has been on my list for a while is a song about Toothless getting fat or inflated

i've had it for a bit now and it's just now i was looking at sharing it, and i also have a twitter but i'm nor sure how much i'll be using it

following on from my last journal, i won't need to delete stuff as i asked and it doesn't violate the new policy, so they're staying

in preparation for the new policy, i've gone through and saved stuff from my gallery in preparation to remove them, so there will be no more inflation and weight gain or any content like that with characters from Paw Patrol, the Night Lights from HTTYD, and never got to post an infllation pic of an old favorite dragon called Hector who's a small dragon but pretty old from what i remember, i will be staying

How would you guys feel about me selling art packs? Something i thouht about doing so i can get a little bit back for what i make, for some packs i would post the pics in them at a later date

For a bit now I've been looking at reopening commissions again, as i don't really have motivation to even work on and complete my own stuff, but i am reopening them now, and they will only be sketches as that's the stage that's easiest for me to complete, for details for my dos and don'ts check out my previous journals pr my commission page, and as they will be just sketches $5 will be taken off the normal commission price

As of today I'm now 25, just 5 years from 30, alteady. I was considering doing something special for this occasion but I'd rather wait to do it later as i have another project in the works and would like to do it after i made a good head way in to that project

so yeah commissions are open, now that i've kind of gotten a good hold on digital art, i think i'm ready to take on some more commissions. new prices are:
$15 for one full color pic
$20 for a comic page (not sure if i'm quite ready for that yet)
$3 per extra character
background is optional (not sure on a price for that yet)

for adult art, i'm not sure if i'm going to do a whole lot of those till i get a drawing tablet

do you guys think i'm worth the time and appreciation? The reason why i'm asking is because i'm currently going through a mental episode. and i some of these i'm a bit more out ward with my thoughts and stuff. because with the lack of comments (especially on DA) it make me think no one appreciates me or the stuff i do, and comments mean more to me than faves, but when i do get comments they're always "cool." or "nice work." which on most days those don't mean a lot to me, because in a way i don't think there's a whole lot of heart behind them. and there are times these days where i can't even think of pics to do, and if i do i at times worry that if i post it people are going to assume that i "stole" the idea from someone else, even if i either haven't seen the art of the person they're refering to or if i even take a quick glance at something and it influencing what i draw. and i feel that if i post this journal people are going to gloss over it like people always do.

So Comiccon is now over and i now need to get back some of the money i spent so i can last the rest of the month, so i'm opening commissions, though some may just be line works.
and i am wanting to do something involving Pokemon

and i also have Shinies turned on

I for the past few days i've had the Inheritance series (the Eragon Series) on the mind, and i need some pic and story ideas for it since i don't really have any ideas, maybe some based off different parts of the series, but please avoid suggesting anything based on the later half of book 3 or book 4 still working my way through them. so please leave your ideas and/or suggestions in the comment section.
