As mentioned in the announcement, this queue will cease to exist now, as well. Honestly, I wish I could've done more, but 2024 was something of an exercise in "learning my limits" and the horrendously long turnaround times were starting to bum me out lol

I'm going to be moving house sometime at the end of May, so this will be done "running queue" style! Aiming to complete at least one slot a day (possibly two), as a way to help raise some additional funds for the moving efforts.

I've opted to leave out the "Special Twist" I talked about in the previous journal, out of want to keep things simple for the time being and maximize the amount of commissions I get through.

Instead, I'll do extra details and effects (within reason) for anyone who would like to tip this Imp Merchant! Of course, never necessary, but always appreciated <3

The goal is for each of these to take no longer than 24hrs to accomplish (48hrs at the latest, accounting for my day job deciding to drain my energy lol)

Hello all!

To be accurate, I never really left, but I got a bit held up for a period there. To make a long story short: The last commission batch about a year ago went on longer then I had planned, and through my own hubris, I kept accepting new work whenever I got a moment of free time, which only extended the workload. Only myself to blame, although, some lessons learned along the way so... Peaks and valleys haha

I'll be posting some of those comms over the next week or so, but t'would be best to manage your expectations of what I've accomplished in a year's time. I've been drawing around the hours of my full-time job and am a VERY slow artist lol

I'll also be posting some art previously only posted to Twitter. Since I've largely given up ever using the site again, seems best not to let the ""library"" burn down with all the books inside, if ya get me.

In future news: I'll be moving dwellings sometime next month! Suffice it to say, there's a few longstanding issues with my current place and I fancy a change. I'd like to save up some extra cash for the moving process and various home-wares that need replacing, but I'd also like to not get stuck in another never-ending commission spiral, so I'm thinking it's time to bring back the "Surprise Me" comms? More details in another journal, but I'm considering an optional Pay-What-You-Want element to spice things up a bit, stay tuned!

Important to mention that the queue for these comms would cease-to-exist when I run out of time to commit to them (likely around my moving date), which is only important for me to state publicly, as a way of giving myself a hard limiter for a task that could feasibly go on forever lol

Lastly, I'm likely going to spend the next few days on either mindless personal doodles or gaming, so look forward to that follow-up journal sometime within a week or so

EDIT: The power's back!

Just an open notice to anyone who'll try to message me or is expecting a commission at the moment, the local power's been on the blink for the past couple of days, but has completely ducked out around last night. Power company says they already found the issue and began working on it, so shouldn't be more than a few hours to restore. Only have a bit of laptop energy left, so messages and other correspondence may be delayed!

I realized that besides over on Twitter people might be wondering where I've been with Discord. The short answer is that I was never the type to use IM's much, and I've completely fallen off Discord, entirely!

There wasn't any major reason for it, just some social awkwardness that didn't translate well to having to respond to messages in a timely manner. For some reason, I've always been more for an in-person conversation, and what a fkn TIME it's been for that lol

Just wanted to share a little word in-case any of my Discord contacts were wondering what's happened. Ghosting wasn't my intention! If I ever get back into Discord, it'll likely be a bit of a time away from now. Probably after the pieces of my free time start falling back into place.
