Holiday shake down
General | Posted 13 years agoHi everybody. Been a bit since I've posted, but there are reasons.
1 Real life has gotten pumped up a bit. I just proposed to my girlfriend and in 6 months we plan on getting hitched.
2 Job hunting, I need to get out of child care before I go crazy and throw one out a window. ( poor taste in light of recent events, but god damn are those kids in need of a good slap to the back of the head)
3 School, I have my finals last week and managed to pull of the A&P program with my 4.0 intact
Now to shaking you folks down. I have several folk on my commission list that have been there for some time that I need to start upon before I get bumped up to full time and start moving. I've been lax upon these things since I've had more important things to do. But I will require a note or email, stating that you still plan on wanting the image, re-describe the subject matter, then give me a date upon payment. After I receive these things I will start on your sketches.
Like I said in subject 1, I'm getting hitched and have to pay for a wedding.
If you are thinking of taking a commission with me please reply to the journal, and then note me with details. The more the better.

General | Posted 13 years agoHey there watchers, I have to tell you for all of you that participated with the revamping sketch tests. Thank you so much, with out you backing me, I'd probably still be moping around about this. Rather than my day job. Friday after some of the kids disobeyed what I asked then about 20 times in the past not to do, otherwise I'll get in trouble. I threw my hands up and said fuck it, made a few of the kids cry. I'm still employed there, I'm hoping that changes, by my choice of course.
Anywho, with 2 exams to go I'm looking at a lull in my education, since I was accepted by to the Radiography program in 2014. Means professional life is on hold.

Oh, yeah I was baking them so hard. *cough* Moving on, With one exam on the road ahead and an engagement ring to design and create I have a fair amount of time upon my hands.

Renal system and ROUND TWO!!
General | Posted 13 years agoHey all, I'll be back to drawing in a bit , but for now I'm studying my butt off all's about the renal system. Yup that lovely little filter inside your kidneys, and causes the bad stuff to go in to the toilet.
As for the second series of the revamping sketches. I've taken quite a few, and there are still plenty of slots open. Please take advantage of them. I have to say, I want more practice, while I work on a secondary project *hush hush*. I want to reopen the door to the Discount Sketch Warehouse. 10 more sketches for $1 USD a piece. I must be going crazy, but hey you get the savings!

Discount sketch Warehouse :part 2 (CLOSED)
General | Posted 13 years agoAs mentioned in previous journals I'm taking on a new style of drawing. I'm enjoy it quite a bit and still have open slots in the first wave of this $1 sketch phase. How many slots? 3...3 slots left, so if you want cheap sketches and like the new way I've been drawing please note me, with a character reference, and basic idea of a pose. If you have a picture that works too. So come and get it.
In other news, Friday was a day from hell.... Honestly I've not felt as low as I did for a long while, and gives me all the more reason to intensify my job search. The weekend recharged the batteries a little with a trip to Wisconsin Dells, with my girl and her folks. Though the place they rented wasn't the least bit handicap accessible, and the fold out couch bed had springs sticking out of the mattress, we had bought enough wine to dull even that pain.
The last slot was taken, perhaps I'll take this to a new direction as well.
I will keep you all posted!

Yeah October has kinda been a crap month for me over all. I feel my health isn't so great, my interests in education is faltering, and I can put pen to paper to create.

Things are getting to the point where I'm loosing sleep over the amount of stuff on my plate, so I'm going on hiatus for retoodling. All current commissions will be completed. No worries there, and I'm sorry for any miss understands in the lines of interpretation of text. Exhaustion can mess you up something fierce.

Ain't no rest for the wicked.
General | Posted 13 years agoThis past week has really drained the ol' batteries that's for damned sure.
Tuesday I was at the most disrespectful funeral I've ever had the pleasure of attending. A friend, and pseudo-sister of mine ex hubby pasted on nearly two weeks ago. This whole situation was quite surreal to me, having never had a friend my age pass away. The family and close friends were not major fans of her's however she wanted to attend because she loved him , and respected the guy even though their marriage didn't work out. After the ceremony one of the friend verbally assaulted her in the bathroom causing my "sis" to leave in tears. Long of the short I was salty for the day, and coming off of a cadaver lab of all things.
Yesterday Sis got remarried to her lover of the past 5 years. Have to say despite feeling slightly awkward around some guests. I had a blast, and now due tot eh fun that my girlfriend and I had. I need a new pair of dancing shoes.
Friday night I gave my rope bondage demonstration to a crowd of nearly 40 people! It was quite a rush, having all of the new faces to our local munch show up and look to me for guidance. Having them ooh and ahh and something that is second nature. A few folks from the Chicago area asked if I was willing to go forth and do more Demonstrations. This is something I will think over.
Also picked up Borderlands 2 for the Xbox. Thus far it feels like the first game, just different coat of pant.

News, What sorta new do I have for you. Well I'm going to let you all know this week is going to be busy as Hell.
First off I was allowed in tot he Radiography program at the CC I'm currently attending, however it's for the Fall of 2014... A full year behind when I wanted this whole thing to get started. Tomorrow I'm going to be school shopping in the hopes that there is a program that will accept me based on my 4.0 GPA, Scholarships, and recommendations.
I really want to get this together so I can move on with my life.
Speaking of school I have my first exam on Thursday over the Endocrine and Cardiovascular systems. Wish me luck for that.
I will also be job shopping since I've come to terms with the fact that the kids that I work with will never listen to me, and will never respect me. No matter what I do for them, or to assist them to become better people. I'm sick of them, and may they have children that are 10 times worse then they ever were, or some deity willing get castrated by being themselves.
Friday I'm giving my second rope bondage demonstration at my annual munch gathering. Where I'll be teaching the 3 basic knots of bondage, and how to build upon them.

In the situation I'm in now, I'm seriously saying fuck it. and move the long term goals I've had previously and put them forward to now term goals. Like Propose to my Girl friend and get hitched. Move out of this crap hole know as Illinois and get as far away from the Midwest as possible. Find a new job that does not involve children, etc. I could go on but I think you all get the point.
Also a good friend of mine passed on about a week ago, he's the kind that might fake his death so I waited for the sick " Ha HA I got you guys good!' Alas, it never came, so I'm upset over that as well. Work... still sucks, but it's manageable. Ever since my director said " You can bring in movie and video games for the kids to play, and not make them do their homework... Cause her children are complete and total shits. RAWR! I mean what sort of after school program doesn't devote at least 30 minutes to the children for homework.

General | Posted 13 years agoOn Labor day, that is. Me take a break? Hell no! I go 24/7. Anyways I showed up again in 
bogrim tournament again round two. Vote for whoever you'd like it's cool.
Now then that's out of the way. I've gotten a tarot reading that was incredible obvious. I'm not happy with what I do for money. I've been doing my best to make due with what I have to offer, and what the kids offer back, but to be honest. I'm sick of it all. Sick of the drama, sick of the excuses from my boss on her emotional due to a botched pregnancy. ESPECIALLY after she preaches that there needs to be a law on who can breed. She's made a pair of assholes, I think he applies to her own damned rule.
I'm sick of the drama between co-workers, I'm sick of the children that just don't get it { Rules, being a role model, respect}...
Long of the short, I'm just sick of it.
School also started, I've gotten high hopes for how I will be performing. Keeping my 4.0 for another semester.

As for my talk with the doctor over Lupus. I will have test results on Friday, then the doc can tell me if the disease is going on strong, or if it's something else.

General | Posted 13 years agoLast week, I had a couple of heavy things fall on me. One of my Co workers passed on after I had driven her to the ER earlier in the week. She was a good worker and a great friend, with many a story to tell about how things were or should be. I'll miss you Ms. Kay, hopefully the family will let the folks at the center know when the service is so we can close up shop and see her off proper.
On top of that, I've been looking at the symptoms of Lupis and yeah, I think my situation is becoming slightly more dire. Having various pains in my joins along with the tell tale butterfly rash. Thank goodness I'm seeing a Doc about it on Thursday, I promise I'll be returning, unlike my unfortunate co-worker.

General | Posted 13 years agoHey there, so last week there was no updates. I've been doing quite a bit of soul searching in how to get better. I've been a little shaken up over a few things and just felt I was at a loss in an artist sense.
Well I am trying out new stuff to make myself better, and I think I have it down... just maybe. Please constructive crits, I need them.

On top of this my commission list is basically empty a side from a few fixings here and there. I feel like I can up my prices and mod my commission stipulations after starting them about 3 years ago. It's time for a new deal.

General | Posted 13 years agoAs of late I've hit the point of saying, "I'm okay, but I need to be better,' far to often. What do I mean by this? My coloring methods suck, or at least I feel they suck. I'm asking anyone out there that reads these journal posts to send some education my way. Anything between livestreaming, or notes sent back and forth what ever, just as long as I can follow things through.
