April 2015 Prompt
General | Posted 10 years agoHey guys, Jaxedge here!
Short on time at the moment to put up a discussion but I wanted to get the prompts up. Will update or post a new journal by the end of the week. In the meantime, enjoy this month's prompts!
General Prompt
Spring Cleaning Mystery - While your family/friend(s) are out of town you agree to house sit for them. Wanting to do something nice for them you decide to do a little spring cleaning. While you're cleaning you find a secret room tucked away in on of the closets. Describe what you find and what you do with it.
Poetry Prompt
Earth Day Poem - With Earth Day later this month we get the opportunity to appreciate the planet we live on. Write a poem describing one of the natural sights you have seen whether it be a simple rain storm or a natural formation.
Adult Prompt
Prank Payback - After your partner played a cruel prank on you on April Fool's they felt bad and agreed to let you decide how they could make it up to you not matter how embarassing or kinky. Extra kudos if you include the prank as well.

General | Posted 10 years agoHey everyone, Jaxedge here!
I apologize for my prolonged absence. I have had a lot of things going on in my personal and work life preventing me from getting a few minutes to hop on. Things are beginning to slow down again so i wanted to hope on and update this for you all. I have at least 4 stories that were sent in my absence that will be hitting the submissions later today.
Anyways, now that we're a few months back into the swing of things I would like to get a little feedback on the prompts. I have noticed that we are primarily getting responses from the poem and general story prompts. Since we've started we haven't had any submits on the adult prompts. since there hasn't been much activity from the adult prompts, should we keep them or just have the poem and general prompts every month?
Also, would any of you be interested in submitting your own prompts for the group? One of the original ideas when founding the group was to be able to have guest prompts so we could have a fresh perspective from time to time for the monthly prompts.
Hope you all are well!

February 2015 Prompt
General | Posted 11 years agoA little later than planned but here's our prompts for February. I found this month's general prompt while poking around online for ideas and I liked this one so much I went ahead and posted it as is. I have linked and credited the original prompt to provide the original author credit. Enjoy!
General Prompt
Valentine’s Day Escape Plan - You are going on a blind date for Valentine’s Day. In case the date is a dud, you have your best friend on standby. Your friend is to call you at 9:30 on the dot. If the date is going well, you answer and use the phrase “I already took care of that.” If it’s not, you answer and claim your friend has an emergency. The date is going well and your friend calls at 9:30 as planned—only problem is, the friend calls with a real emergency. What is it and what do you do? (Credit to Brian A Klems)
Poem Prompt
Poem for a lost/forbidden love - February is a month that reminds us of someone special: our partners. For those of us who are single, it can be a reminder of what could have been or what is forever out of reach. Write a poem to your lost/forbidden crush or your current love if you have one.
Adult Prompt
The Booty Call - You're by yourself late at night and you've had a few too many to drink. Feeling a bit randy from all the late night adult shows you've been watching, since you were too loaded to change the channel, you grab your cell phone and make a call, planning to relieve the primal itch.

F.A.Writers2.0 February Update - How're We Doing?
General | Posted 11 years agoHey guys! Jaxedge here,,
I wanted to put up a quick update before working on getting this month's prompt going. To start, I want to welcome all our new members! We're all glad to have you and hope you enjoy your time with us. Our small community is regrowing slowly but surely and with time i hope we grow to be bigger than we were before.
Looking back on the last month I was happy to see that we had a lot of new members sharing their works and getting feedback back. We had a total of 5 re-uploads, one prompt response, and one off page critique request. For our first full month that's a great response and I hope we can continue to share and help each other out.
January was also the first month I introduced the weekly newsletters. I know I only got two weeks in before it dropped off and I apologize for that since the newsletter only takes a few minutes to put together and there's no reason I can't spare that little bit of time once a week to hop on and send out an update. To make myself stay on track with the updates I will be posting the newsletter on my days off work. So until the end of March, I will be posting a newsletter every Wednesday or Thursday starting this week. When my schedule changes I will let you all know the updated newsletter release date.
Since we've now had a full month together in the community I would like to hear what you all think. How have we been doing? What have you thought about the monthly prompts? What would you like to see changed? Any input would be great to hear.
February's prompts will be posted either later today or early tomorrow. Until then, I hope al of you have a great day and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Take care!

General | Posted 11 years agoHey everyone,
Jaxedge here!
I've decided I'm going to try and put up weekly updates for the group just to keep you all informed on how things are going. These updates will include this months new submissions, any entries/submissions from this month's prompt, and most importantly to advertise works that our users are wanting critique or input for that were not submitted for reupload. Also, if there's a discussion point for the group I will also be posting those here. These update journals will be deleted monthly just to avoid any clutter. So without further delay, here's our first weekly update!

General | Posted 11 years agoA New Year, a new monthly prompt for everyone to enjoy. We got a few entries last month to get us started but would love to see more as we grow. Just a reminder, our success as a writing group depends on our members so keep us going by spreading the word to your watchers and fellow writers. Now, without further delay, here's your prompts for January:
General Prompt
Winter is in full swing and despite al the fun activities that brings in, it also can bring a lot of trouble. Unfortunately, extreme weather in your home town puts you in the later category and you're caught without proper provision. How do you make it through this intense storm?
Poem Prompt
The New Year is a time to think of the future. For some of us that means anticipation for all the great things to come and for others we're filled uncertainty about how this year will go. Put together a poem that expresses how you feel about the new year.
Adult Prompt
You and your partner(s) decide to start the New year off by trying out some new things. You found an adult themed Truth or Dare game to mix things up and decide to give it a try and see how the night goes.

FA Writers 2.0: A Formal Introduction
General | Posted 11 years agoWelcome fellow writers and poets to FAWriters2.0! My name is
Jaxedge, one of the original founders of FAWriters. After the last group bombed out due to some internal staffing issues and seeing other writing groups going inactive as well, I decided to relaunch and run the group on my own. My plan is to keep us going strong with the help of our members. To keep us on track, I have put together this introduction guide to establish who and what we are and to setup our group guidelines/rules.
As a writing community, it is our goal to provide a healthy community for writers and poets here on FA to interact together and share their works.
It is our commitment to provide a monthly prompt for our members to keep them fresh and inspired. We also commit to using our submissions to help our members promote their work and request input or assistance.
To facilitate a freindly environment, we have a few simple rules our members are asked to follow. If they are not followed, Members will be given up to three warnings before being removed and blocked. By joining our group, you are agreeing to follow these rules. Rules may be changed at any time and members will be notified of changes.
1. We ask that all members interact with each other in a friendly manner when using our page. Any hateful, disrespectful, or hostile comments will not be tolerated.
2. Plagiarism/theft is strictly forbidden. Please only request your own work to be submitted to our page.
3. We adhere to the FA Acceptable Uploaad Policy with our uploads. Any submission request that does not adhere to the AUP will be rejected. No warnings will be given for this unless there are multiple violations.
Any and all works uploaded to our gallery at out members request will be uploaded in their original format and linked back to the original author and their submission to protect the integrity of their work. There will be no alterations to any uploads made unless requested by the author.
Once a month we will be posting our prompts via journal entry. If you choose to use one of our prompts and want to share your work in our submissions, post a link in the journal or send us a note and we'll get it uploaded. You DO NOT need to use the submissions form to have your prompt works to be uploaded.
To have your own work submitted to our page, simply commint in our shouts or note us with the submission form below and we will add your work to our gallery.

F.A. Wriers 2.0 Relaunch - December 2014 Prompt
General | Posted 11 years agoWelcome to the first monthly prompt for FA Writers 2.0. To keep things going we're going to have new prompts every month. Here's how these monthly prompts will work: We will post a General prompt for those who want to write stories for public audiences, a Poem prompt befitting the current month for our poets, and an Adult prompt for those who want to write smutty stories. Our hope is that with these prompts we will have a flow of new material for us all to enjoy, enhance the writing skills of our members, and to assist those of us with writers block by providing a platform to work off of. With luck, we may use these prompts as a sort of contest for the winners to select the prompt for next month in the future. So wihtout further adeiu, here are this month's prompts:
General Prompt
