Darksiders
Posted 16 years agoHoly Apocolypse Batman! Wow... just finished this game and if they made a sequel I would buy it right now. The end just leaves you wanting to play more and I'm not trying to give anything away, but if they do make another you'll not only play as War but more than likely as any of the four Horsemen. Though frustratingly difficult at times, I couldn't put this game down for very long. Despite a few technical glitches, the graphics are lush, the environments are diverse and colorful, and the story of this game is just epic... rent it, buy it, or borrow it from your friend. Now I'm off to find all the pieces of the Abyssal Armor.

Book of Eli and going to FCN
Posted 16 years agoBook of Eli
All in all not a bad flick. Very cinematic aside from the bland color, but that's to be expected with a post apocalyptic wasteland. This very much felt like Fallout the Movie only there wasn't a vault. Anyone who's played the game can appreciate the similarities. Go see it if you're interested at all, there's a good twist towards the end, but I won't spoil it for you.
FCN
Going to Furry Connection North http://www.furryconnectionnorth.com in April with
blondevelvet18 and we're looking for someone to share a room with to help with expenses. I'll be on the road anywhere between eight and sixteen hours one way so if anyone needs a ride and can help out with gas that would be appreciated too.
If you're curious I'm driving from lower West Virginia, near the Virginia line all the way up to PA, then up to Michigan for the con, or at least that's the plan so far. Things may change between now and April if we can work something else out.

Murrry Christmas and sleep deprivation
Posted 16 years agoIt's technically been Christmas here for about seven hours now so I'll go ahead and say it with a journal. Also, sleep dep does wierd things to my brain so I might not even remember posting this tomorrow until I read it again. Just couldn't sleep because I was busy digesting two xmas dinners worth of food. Hope everyone's holidays are going well and hope the rest is good also.
Stay groovy and be safe everyone,

Okay... back from MFF but couldn't post because FA wasn't
Posted 16 years agoMade it back on the 30th, but
Wynne wanted to stay an extra week so she traded in her tickets. Then just about a day before she was supposed to come back, her tickets were randomly refunded because Amtrak has a policy that if a shareholder needs a seat for an emergency they can do that. So now she's stuck for an extra week, and we're hoping she makes it back despite the craptastic weather conditions. Just a few more days till I get to hug her again I hope.
Anyway, MFF was a total blast. I met so many artists and friends from online and made plenty of new ones. Got some awesome con swag: listed below, and just getting to meet a lot of the artists from here face to face was a real treat. I'm hooked now and definitely have to go back next year, and going to try to make it to a few other cons if possible... mainly FCN and AC, but we'll see.
All in all it was a really good trip. Even though the train ride back was lonely, it was still very comfortable in my sleeper car. Highly recommend anyone having to travel a long distance look into a train as a possibility as it saves a lot of money over flying and probably gas too these days, as well as the fact you can actually get up and move around if you want to. I didn't feel exhausted like usual from traveling such a long way since I wasn't just stuck in a seat or driving the entire time. Soon as we arrived I was ready to run around and do stuff.
To all of you who met me or talked to me during my first con, it was an amazing experience and one I'll never forget. You're all awesome and I love you.

Not much is known about the elusive skixen other than the fact that she seems to have an extremely high libido.
If you need a new port for your furc character, go check out Kyla at:
http://bral-da-arcku.deviantart.com/
She's wicked awesome and will charge you the same price for mappables as for standard ports. I'm pimping her out, because she totally kicked ass at mine. Check it out here:
http://bral-da-arcku.deviantart.com.....ynne-132546799
Also, you might be able to whisper her on furc, but it would be more polite if you went through the right channels (aka deviantart).
She takes payment in dragonscales too!

Prime
Posted 16 years agoSo yeah... I've been on Furcadia for about ten years now, and to celebrate my gf bought me Prime wings for life for my avatar. It's a pretty good little game for being free. Doesn't have all the fancy 3D graphics of games like Second Life but at least you can get some good roleplay sometime. If anyone wants to check it out... http://www.furcadia.com/services/ca.....hp4#life-40974

you gotta love Vera for her bug pics. it's sometimes creepy, maybe gross, always interesting, and sometimes you just have to tilt your head and say "that's odd, but for some reason i like it"

Posted 16 years agodidn't get to read the comments or see who faved that desktop image i just submitted. they took that thing down fast. i had no idea they were so anal about stuff like that. Deviantart encourages you to put up pics of your desktop even if it's not your art... wierd. i wonder if they wouldn't have deleted it had i given credit to the artist. oh well... thanks for commenting and faving and watching because of that and here's the pic if you want it. huge image though, had to scale it down for my desktop

New pic idea
Posted 16 years agohad a nifty thought for a pic, though i'm terrible at figures so if any artists reading this are bored and want to give it a try just let me know.
take my character Fayde the four armed panther and mix him with Dr. Manhatten from the Watchmen movie/comics
could be a pg or a more mature pic depending on if you wanted to add in the giant blue glowing penis or not, though with my char it would also have a sheath and barbs...

Transformers
Posted 16 years agoThe second movie surpasses the first one in so many ways. The robots cuss, they kill people, they hump people, and there are tons of Micheal Boom Blow Baysplosions!
Terminator
Posted 16 years agoTerminator Salvation is awesome. Go see it if you can. They had it turned up so loud here the whole place would rumble when something exploded, and a lot of things exploded.
OC?
Posted 16 years agoAnybody want to? I've had the program for a while now and haven't really tried it out yet. Feel like helping me figure it out?
Furcadia Pounce
Posted 16 years agoSo... Furcadia updated either sometime last night or earlier today and they incorporated Dogproxy, a program which put your whispers and private messages into another window like an instant messenger, into the Furc program. I logged on and already heard a few comments about how this update sucks, but I've used Dogproxy for years, and when I updated it took the list of people I usually whisper and transferred them into Pounce, the new incorporated version. I like it so far. Anyone else's thoughts?
