I'm sorry to say that I'm unable to continue streaming today so instead I will be doing a bonus stream tomorrow! It will be from 2pm to 8pm! Be sure to come by and check out what's going on! Oh man where to start!?

Well Fur the 'More was a great little con and I'm glad I went for all I learned from it and the talented artists there! Namely and All extremely talented in their own rights, and definitely worth their watch! Not everything went as planned but overall a thumbs up and I recommend supporting it and helping it grow into another big con! :) (If only to get the dirty stuff in their. lA I mean to make the con bigger and get more fuzzyies to DC!

What else? Oh yeah! My 300 watchers mark is coming up! *puts on my popufur T-Shirt* (As a side note I fuckin hate that term popufur along with every other furry out there) Being serious though this is an outstanding achievement for me and I honestly couldn't have done it without all of you guys! Stream Commissions! I'm VERY sorry for not keeping you updated as much as I should! I am currently working through somethings I learned at Fur the 'More! A little update for how things are going! I'm currently looking for expression stuff to teach myself! Google search is being less than helpful so any ideas or links you guys may have would be VERY awesome!

A tiny little update. The stream today is on hold. I got held up with a whole bunch of necessary things yesterday. Taxes and applications being a few. So I'm a bit behind on my commissions. So instead of streaming today I'm going to be working on getting those taken care of.

SKETCHBOOK COMMISSIONS

What are sketchbook commissions?
They are traditional sketches that will temporarily replace the sketch streams until I get my tablet stylus back this Tuesday. The originals of which will be available for pickup at AC or eventually by mail, for no additional charge.

How do I get one?
Leave a comment in this journal post letting me know what you would like.

Will they be by the hour?
Unfortunately no. I intend to do small sketches that can be contained between today and the next day. So it will be an up front payment.

When will be the soonest I could see them?
As soon as I finish them! I have a scanner and will scan them in as soon as I finish. The originals however will not be immediately available if you want it by mail. I am still in a bit of a monetary dilemna.

How much will they cost?
They might cost anywhere from $5 to $30 depending on what you might want in there!

FREQUENT STREAMERS PLEASE READ

Okay so things have been going pretty well the past few days and I even have a bit of down time. Though in hindsight I should probably be working on something right now instead..... WHATEVER! I'm taking the time to let you guys know what's up! x)

Okay first up, a schedule for my streams. I'm getting alot of them and this is cool! I'm getting payed and from what I've given out I feel like I'm doing good by my commissioners! (Seriously, if I'm not doing good by you PLEASE PLEASE PLAISE let me know! I like to think I have an agreeable personality! I won't bite your head off!) So I've decided on handing out my actual schedule that I intend to keep for these streams! :) (also what I'll be doing in between these streams. I'm not just sitting around with my thumb up my ass!)

Sunday: Study Stream 9am-11am
Monday: Pay by-the-hour Sketch Stream 7pm-10pm
Tuesday: No Stream A day for study and working on non-sketch commissions.
Wednesday: Pay-by-the-hour Sketch Stream 4pm-7pm
Thursday: No Stream A day for study and working on non-sketch commissions.
Friday: Pay-by-the-hour Sketch Stream 1pm-4pm
Saturday: Study Stream 5pm-8pm

To clarify, My study streams will be purely for studying. I will NOT be taking on any commissions those days. It's strictly for people who want to see what I do and how I do it. I'll also have my mic on that day so I can quickly answer questions. :) Also, many of these time are in the experimental stage. I wanted to be as fair as possible with giving everyone an opportunity at getting one, so I'm doing different times. (The study streams have different times for the same reason and both are subject to change)

Next, things have been pretty up in the air recently and I'd like to bring it back down to earth a little. I'm going to try and keep you guys in the loop as much as possible. So to do that, I'll be keeping updated journals, but also I'll be making recordings of these journals and posting them as sound files in my scraps, for those too lazy (say "busy" in the recording) to read! This one may take a while because all my recording equipment is back at my apartment which I'll be getting back to today! :) Thanks guys!

So a bit of news. One of my former roommates Larathen is in a pretty dire situation. His current apartment situation isn't looking so good so now he'll be looking for a new place. So if there's anyone on the east coast in need of a roommate, please go talk to him. Preferably before the end of the month. As he puts it, "He doesn't take up much room and he always pays his bills on time and he's EVEN self-cleaning. Specifically he's looking for some place around the DC area but anything on the east coast will do just fine!

For those who watch when I stream:
You're probably wondering where I've been the past few days and where your sketches are. Truth be told I haven't had any free time these past couple of days. We were moving apartments and I hadn't considered it when I promised you the schedule that I did and for that I'm sorry and would like you to know that I will, in fact be doing a birthday stream tonight (That is the 31st) : 8pm to 10pm!

For my watchers:
I'm starting a new job and won't be able to update my profile on my various sites with images as often as I'd like. So to combat this problem I'll be updating each site once a week, each day being a different site. As I have it now the days will be:

This is all experimentational and subject to change completely but if it does change I will be sure to let you guys know.

Something else I feel will be experimentational will be a change in my commission prices. I don't want to promise anything but with me getting a job I will be able to afford a substantial drop in my prices. So be on the look out for those. :) I'd like to wait until I've actually started this job until I commit to anything but again I will let you guys know when and if I will!

No I'm not moving. I'm still going to be drawing here because regardless of what has happened this is still a viable place to network my art. Me personally, I don't know anything about it and really prefer not to and I'm not going to make a decision based off of a lack of information. That being said I'm not really judging those that do, it's your decision and only you know what's best for you.

Okay so since I'm a total asshole I took forever on uploading a journal to thank the most talented programmer, so in light of this, I'm going to instead thank him for all the things he's done for me!

Whenever I've had computer problems, (a very common thing for me since I don't know butts about computers) he's always helped me. And I don't mean like, did you try turning it off and on kind of problems. I'm talking like system32 shit! Software wise he's a wizard and if you ever have problems go to him and get your computer's gonads checked for any STD's it might have caught from all the porn I know you watch you filthy heathens!

Secondly, comes to visit and keeps in touch. He's always around so he's always going to be watching you.... like a ninja... that likes dicks. This may sound creepy but it's not! He's fuggin awesome to have around even if he is Swedish but we all have disabilities to overcome!

Okay, so one of my man friends is opening up for writing commissions and he would like a little help. So spread the word and go his way in case you want a good range of great writing material.

I'll be out with it. My sole "New Year Resolution" (something I don't typically do) was to sell my writing in some way. To really fulfill this, and a long term desire of mine, would be to write something substantial, or a series of substantial short stories and put it up as an eBook and sell that.

However, I have considered that I would like to try doing a story commission sometime in the near future.

For that I need to know if any of my watchers, the ones that watch me because of my writing, not the art I commission, would be interested in the idea of getting some one-of-a-kind strings of words done by yours truly. Now, I'm sure the majority have never really considered commissioning a written work. I mean, why bother, right? Writing doesn't have the mass appeal that drawings have, or the views. I can tell you though, writing has something that a drawing doesn't: longevity. Allow me to elaborate!

When you commission a drawing and get it, you can take it all in relatively quickly; see all it has to offer in seconds. There may be little details here and there that take a little more scrutiny to pick out, but it still doesn't take long. With a story you have as long as it takes you to read it! So, unless you read hella fast, it's going to take you some time, an investment even. More than just the investment of money to get it, you have to invest yourself, to see the characters, to put yourself in the scene or situation, to really feel and understand it. I can tell you up front, you don't get page views from stories, if that's what you're after, on this website (or most other furry ones).

Now, a little about myself and my motivation; I have a job, I'm in the military. I don't need to do this, nor do I need the money. However, I want to try my hand at writing under the direction of someone who is in charge of me and the project via their hard earned money. Plus, I'm curious to see if there is any interest/demand in my skills as a writer, as mediocre as they may be. If I ever want to fulfill a small, hobbyist dream of selling the fruits of my hobby, I may as well start somewhere!

If you're interested, after that wall of text, then you must be a reader and like something about my work and style! Let me move on to the important bits. I'll be aiming for 3000-5000 words, which is roughly 7-10 pages at a typical, 11pt font. Examples follow:

I can do clean stories or erotic stories, but when it comes to erotic I'm not that into hardcore, in your face stuff. You can see in my writing like I like a little bit of subtlety. My strengths are in Science Fiction and modern era stuff. Basically, you’re just going to have to ask me if I’m willing to do it. I’m kinda vanilla.

And the last, but not least important detail, pricing! The length I’m aiming for is 3-5k words. Since there is a range, I’m going to put the price just under the high end at $45USD. Depending on where the length ends up that’s about $.01USD per word.

Keep in mind that, if you’re interested, you’re going to have to have a detailed idea of what you want. Specific characters are going to need to be fully explained, personality and appearance are key. I don’t have any plot lines lurking in my head, but it may be possible to work one out with me if you aren’t sure of one.

Alright, so since FA was down AND my laptop has been throwing hissy fits I took the opportunity to go back down to south Alabama to get what remained of my things from down there. Trip went okay made it there and back in a virtually painless manner and I can also offer some advice on hotels. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, stop at a microtel. Friendly service, amazingly clean, curious room design, and best of all CHEAP. TV's a little wierd though. No cartoon Network so no Regular Show or Adventure Time. BIG loss.

On a more serious note, as a result I have gotten FAR behind on my commission list and have nothing but my apologies but it's all I have to offer. Hopefully, it's enough to tide you guys over until I can get you what you are owed and more. If you have any questions feel free to note me.

It is thanks in large part to FA being down and me not being able to contact any of my commissioners. Sooooo yeah tried getting off (in the not gay way) to a good start inmy art today and photoshop was like nope! Clear your scratch disks! Having never heard about this shit before now, I calmly and collectedly deleted all photoshop files on my computer to free up disk space.

After I was done being stupid I decided to google that shit and turns out it's possibly a defragmenting issue! So now I'm just waiting for that to finish! Just thought I'd update you all as to what's going on just in case this isn't something I can fix in one day. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Heeeey guys! Sorry about not being around recently. I just ran into some trip ups but I'm back on track. Will be back with another commission today in fact! Come to think of it this would have been a good opportunity to post art people have gotten for me! (It's mostly weiners so you guys would like it) But yeah coming back today.

In other news I really would like to get to know you guys (and girls. I'm not sexist) better, so I'm going to be doing sort of an hour long game thing three times a week. Haven't really gotten it set in stone but any games you guys have that you think you could put up with me participating in then I'm all for it!

Okay now that things aren't quite so turbulent I need to get back to work. I've found that I've recently lost some of my artistic intuition in my time away from the tablet. Now that I've settled down a bit after my move, I'm ready to get back to business as usual. To that end I'll be doing more in depth studies than sketches. (Although make no mistake I'll still be doing sketches but not every day) But I still do have full commissions to consider so I will ONLY BE TAKING ONE AT A TIME. One of what you ask?
