I'm stopping into to say that I am going to be periodically submitting pieces and opening up for commission sketches.

I have missed you all dearly, and recently got back into focusing on some awesome furry art (truth is, I missed the crap out of it).

I'm pretty much dead.
Life has been busy beyond all reason.
Consider this a hiatus.
Maybe I'll be coming back some time in the future.
Dunno.

Okay, my trip to Reno is a little less important right now.

Thanks to commissions I was able to purchase the tickets two days ago.
Now I have an even bigger problem on my hands.

has a python named Kilo.
Her tank is encroachingly too small, and she desperately needs a newer, larger tank as soon as possible.
Leaving this snake in the size tanks she has is already getting bad.
Her body is growing far too fast for her head,
and as a result she'll become stunted and won't be able to feed
herself properly.

My dad lost his job.
We should okay financially for a bit.
We don't really have medical coverage.

My family may be set financially for a while, but I want to try and limit the burden I have on them.
They've been offering to give me money for a trip I'm taking in spring,
as well as paying for my gas bill every now and then.

I want to try and eliminate these expenses.

My dad got terminated from work today.


We should be financially sound for about a year because my folks are excellent savers.


I had the feeling something bad was going to happen, but at least it's not the end of the world.

I've been in hybernation a while.

Some really key updates that have been going on:

-Got accepted to MassArt (School of choice)
-Earned a silver key in the Scholastics Art Awards
-Doing great in school
-On an up swing with drawing
-GOT MY BEST FRIEND BACK FUCK YEAAAAAAH.
-I've been working almost 8 months at Michaels. That's scary.
-I am a beer wench, goo goo ga joob.



That's about all that's been happening recently.
I'm gonna try to upload when I can, but life has been pretty hecktic reacently.
I kinda just fel off the Earth for a while.
But a little rocketeer brought me back.


In conclusion:

So after NPD and all the stress I've been putting myself through these past couple months,
the final list has appeared!
The colleges I would most like to attend in order of importance:

1)MassArt
2)Pratt or Pratt MWP
3)New Hampshire Institute of Art
4)UConn
5) Any one of the local state schools I applied to (there are plenty!)

So far I have been accepted to the last three (yes, ALL of the state schools too C: )
At present I'm simply waiting for a rejection/acceptance letter from Pratt or MassArt.

MassArt is much more affordable for me and I prefer it's campus of Pratt,
though Pratt does have the benefit of a high-ranking name.

Still.

I'm a city goer disguised as a hillbilly :D

It has arrived.

In five minutes I'll be leaving for the University of Hartford

to be interviewed by about 10 of the 12 schools I applied to.


My hope is that at least one of them will like what I have to offer.

Every year pit bull terriers are responsible for the death of 3 people.

40 children a year drown in 5 gallon water pails, in your lifetime you are 16 times more likely to drown in a 5 gallon water pail then be killed by a pit bull.

Pit bulls were known as the number 1 family dog in the 20th century, but the very same qualities that make this breed such a wonderful pet, are also valued by those who use them as fighting dogs, training them in brutal methods, some even going as far as to sew bottle caps under the dogs skin to ensure they're in constant pain, to make then more aggresive.

150 people a year are killed by falling coconuts, making you 60 times more likely to be killed by a palm tree then by a pit bull.

Pit bull puppies, ones that have never fought before are often killed because their parents were fighters, since when did it become guilty until proven innocent?


According to the American Canine Temperament Testing Association, 82.5% of the American Pit Bull Terriers that took the temperament test passed, compared to a 77% passing rate for all breeds on average. In the test a dog is placed in a series of confrontational situations. The first sign of aggression or panic is a failure of the test. I had my first day of work today at Michael's.

Needless to say I was shaking like a hyperactive chihuahua on crack.
I couldn't stop shaking because they put me right up at the registers first thing.
