Preorders have opened up for the new ES Gokin Supreme Catatonic figure, as well as a rerelease of the ES Gokin Speedy figure which initially had a limited release in 2013. Great items for any Samurai Pizza Cats fans. ES Gokin Polly and Guido are scheduled for release next year.

Just a heads up that it's about your last chance to preorder the Dynamite Action figure of the Nyagoking/Supreme Catatonic. It has magnetic joints, comes with the trademark fishbone spear as well as the fish gun used in the finale, and even three mini figures of the Pizza Cats themselves. It's a bit pricey, but I would strongly encourage any fan of Samurai Pizza Cats/Cat Ninden Teyandee to consider buying it in order to help show demand and thus support chances for future developments involving the property, be it additional merchandise or possibly even a sequel/remake someday.

Discotek has confirmed an April 30th release date for the full-series English-subtitled DVD set of Legendary Ninja Cats (aka Cat Ninden Teyandee, the original Japanese version of Samurai Pizza Cats). Current word is that the price will be around $65. The Saban-produced Samurai Pizza Cats dub will also be receiving a full-series DVD set release sometime later in the year.

Also, if you're a fan of the show, don't forget about the recently-released official fan book!

As if the DVDs and toys weren't enough, an official book is set to be released in Japan next month containing production materials, staff and cast interviews, and even glimpses at an abandoned sequel concept. A while back I scanned by copy of the KNT Anniversary Memorial, a 5-volume doujin set totaling over 300 pages. This is one of the largest and most sought-after KNT doujins, along with Secret of Pizza Cat (a single book of similar total length which shares some material with this one). Unfortunately there were some problems with my scanning methods that I didn't realize until I was almost done. As a result, many pages have some wavy distortion in them. Being something of a perfectionist and wanting to preserve this piece of fandom in as best a form as possible, it's likely that I will attempt a full rescan eventually. But this first attempt was so long and tedious that I don't think it will be for quite some time. Hopefully you can enjoy these scans despite the flaws.

I recently purchased a large set of SPC/KNT model sheets that were up for auction on Yahoo Japan. I've scanned the entire set and uploaded it here. They should be very useful for anyone who wants to attempt some fanart. Most of the material was already available on the web, but much of it is now in higher resolution than what was previously available. The filenames are KNT-based, so you might want to rename them if you're more familiar with the SPC names.
