Posted 14 years agoYeesk. I sold my computer about eight months ago, and just got a new one, and nowwwww...... almost 1500 new submissions to go through! Man!
Oh well, I'm back, and hoping to start submitting stuff now that life is settling down. Married life is good, trying to start a new career is promising, but I'm just going to take it one day at a time. :)

By calories, he does. By volume, I do. (I love me some veggies!!)
2. Who said “I love you” first?
I did. And then we had our first major argument. XD
3. Who is the morning person?
Neither of us. He takes to a morning schedule more easily than I do, but we're both night owls who want so badly to sleep in...
4. Who sings better?
We both sing about as well. Our church choir will miss us when we get married and move away... He's the strongest tenor and I'm the strongest alto (though my range is closer to a mezzo-soprano)
5. Who’s older?
Beryl, by a little more than five years. I joke that he's a cradle robber. He says "five years isn't that much!" to which I reply "Yes, but no matter how old we get, you'll always be older than me!! :D"
6. Who’s smarter?
I am.
7. Whose temper is worse?
Both of us have a very nasty temper. His fuse is shorter, though.
8. Who does the laundry?
We both do our own laundry (since we don't live together yet). I imagine that it'll be whoever gets around to it first.
9. Who does the dishes?
Again, since we're not living together, we both do our own. I think I'll be able to negotiate my way out of washing dishes since I'll be doing most (if not all) of the cooking.
10. Who sleeps on what side of the bed?
We don't sleep together (yes, we're one of those weird couples who are waiting until marriage... :P), but strangely enough, we know how the arrangement will be. He likes to keep the bed against the wall, and sleep in the corner. I like to be on the edge so I can have drinking water available to me all night. So there's no right or left. It's outside and inside. :)
11. Whose feet are bigger?
Beryl's feet are about one size bigger than mine, and slightly wider.
12. Whose hair is longer?
Mine.
13. Who’s better with the computer?
Me; I work for an electronics retailer. He's a little baffled by technology in general. Once I graduate and get a better job, I'll probably only touch the computer when something's wrong with it.
14. Do you have pets?
I will have some fishies soon. And he intends to get a cat. This may cause problems...
15. Who pays the bills?
We'll be paying the bills together. I'll be the one physically paying most/all of the bills though (again, technology is my friend...)

I LOVE COOKING!!! I have over 100 cookbooks, and I love to use them as well as cook up my own kitchen chemistry experiments. The only thing he cooks better than me is spaghetti; his al dente is perfect.

Beryl, unless he's really tired. I hate driving; it makes me tense because I can't see as well and tend to zone out.
18. Who pays when you go out to dinner?
He pays for us both about 55% of the time. We go dutch about 35% of the time. I pay for us both about 10% of the time. But when I cook for us, it's on my dime.

He is a Taurus all the way. So very very stubborn.
20. Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong?
We're about even.

Again, about even. We spend most of our time together away from our families.

Posted 16 years agoI am resolving to update my FA page... I promise. I've had a lot of stuff (lack of time and talent) preventing me from posting art here, but I'm working on it. Not that I have many watchers anyways... X3
So I stole this meme from DecolorDomina. It's about my fursona, Jade Aždaja.
1 - Do you and your "fursona" look alike?
I'm in the process of losing weight (almost 50 lbs so far!), so my renderings of Jade are along the lines of what I expect to look like when I'm down to my ideal weight. Right now the only thing we have in common physically is the white skin. Comparitavely speaking, we have similarly proportioned posteriors (ie: big child-bearin' hips). Oh, and our hair won't behave.
2 – Do you and your "fursona" share attires?
Yes, with the exception that she tends to go commando more often than I do.
3 – Do you share the same sexuality as your fursona?
Yes. I am heterosexual, but beyond that, I am only sexually attracted to my significant other. No, I'm not kidding. Seeing a very attractive man (who is not my man...) does absolutely nothing for me. It's just like seeing a very attractive woman; pleasing to look at, but no more.
4 – If you hadn’t already made your fursona look like you, if you would to change how he/she looked like to make him/her look more like you, how would you think he/she would look like?
I've actually been playing with the idea of drawing fat Jade. I don't think I'd like it though; she'd look too dumpy, I think.
5 – Did you work hard to develop your fursona? What is the (brief) history of your fursona?
It took me a while to really define Jade as my fursona. I've known for years (even before I "found furry" as it were) that I'm a dragon. But the coloring, the personality, and all of that didn't really start developing until about five or six years ago, when I started college. I didn't actually have a name for the more dragonly part of me until about three years ago, after I started dating Beryl and got more involved in furry. I fiddled around with various animals, experimenting with wolves and such until I finally realized that a dragon is a dragon is a dragon, and I cannot be anything else (so to speak). So I settled with dragon and found her name, even though Jade is a fairly common name for dragons, it's still her name. I drew her for the first time around Christmas of 2006, and that was when her coloring and more of her personality started to come out.
But really, she's always been with me. I just didn't look closely enough.
6 – Do you and your fursona share relationship status?
Yes. Single, taken, monogamous.
7 – Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don’t like or your partner does?
Neither of us is that involved in the fandom that we've ever been paired off to someone else (to my knowledge). We're rather private people. I would get a bit jealous if Beryl were paired up with anyone else--I don't care who. I would probably be upset if Jade were paired with someone else, but more in the weirded out kind of upset rather than angry.
8 – How would you like your character not to be used?
By anyone other than Beryl. The most Jade would do with anyone else is snuggle. But even that's stretching it--she'd have to know them really really well.
9 – What’s your fursona’s specialty?
She's half shapeshifter, so even though she's always a dragon, she can alter her appearance. This is really limited, though, and usually only happens when she's very emotional.

Lots of great art, but wow. it was a LOT of art. And over two hundred journal entries too. Yikes.
Anyway, I've been drawing more, but I've moved back in with my dad and still haven't unpacked my scanner. I'll get to it.
I will be posting more art though. I need to do it because I need to practice and I want to keep track of how my art is improving. So there ya go.

It'll help improve my art a lot, I think. It'll give me practice and help me to be able to display a vast array of emotions and situations. hooray!

Working Hard
Posted 18 years agoSince I actually started posting art (about a week ago) I've had two watches! That's exciting for me, since I don't actually have much in the way of formal art training.
I've been busy lately with work and preparing to move and trying to find a second job that it's hard to find time for art. However, I have found said second job, and once I get into the swing of it, I should be ok. I really miss drawing on a regular basis, and I want to get back into it.
Alas, work, work, church, school, and my wolfie tend to eat up most of my time, so that I have a hard time getting all the sleep I need (and you know how we dragons loooove our sleep!! ^_^), not to mention free time for anything else.
However, I love anthropomorphic art, and I want to work hard and get better, and start making more of it! I would love to get to the quality where I could take comissions... or trades at the very least.
Look forward to seeing some more art in the near future, though. I have some things scanned that I just need to color, and I'll post them as soon as they are finished!

I just realized that I've been on Fur Affinity since New Year's Eve and 1: have not posted any art, and 2: have not posted any journal entries.
Bah.
Well, I have to go to work tomorrow morning (11 hour shift!) so I can't type much now, but I will be posting something more interesting in the near future.
...I did my icon myself, but it's a clip from a chalk painting I did for my mate as a Christmas present, and I need his permission before I post the whole thing up here.
In conclusion...
I have come to realize recently that there is NOTHING about a dragon that is subtle (why bother?). Methinks that's part of our charm. ^^
I just realized that I've been on Fur Affinity since New Year's Eve and 1: have not posted any art, and 2: have not posted any journal entries.
Bah.
Well, I have to go to work tomorrow morning (11 hour shift!) so I can't type much now, but I will be posting something more interesting in the near future.
