Posted 5 years agoManaging low self esteem
Posted 5 years agoTo all who asked for commissions, sorry to keep you guys waiting, but I've been feeling down and uncreative this past week, and so my willingness to use the pen was low and hard to do. I'm getting better, but I could've told you sooner :(

Posted 5 years agoSocial Media, sharing my artwork
Posted 5 years agoI'm looking for other social media to share my art and already got some nice ones out there.
Is there any site you guys use, would recommend? I'll lookingto post mostly SFW images, since they go around nicely, while keeping the NSFW in here and twitter, possibly newgrounds as well.
For now I only publish on FurAffinity and Twitter. And if you got any other ideas, I'm alll ears :)

Posted 6 years agoTL;DR
I've experienced much growth as an artist and salesperson this past 2 years. And it seems I'm learning and gaining more and faster, exponentially. it's crazy. And I don't want to stop.
It all began in the times of yore of 2018.
I got my first commissions for thestarting price on $40 per Illustrations. As a starting point it was satisfactory as I'm getting used to put my skills to the test. I've joined my first furry Discord Server, the 'Cave', met lots of folk there who helped me get started ( thank you Beyxer for the guidance on the ToS) also begun to use picarto to stream as my commissioners watch their ideas take shape live.
In the cave, came my first commissioners, 3 wonderful people willing to see my worth. Next month, 3 more. I guess as I wasn't stopping, the comms kept flowing and the community was taking interest. but you know, words get around and people start to notice. It's quite slow process so make sure you're not to bored.
I've began an Animation course under the guidance of who is still my mentor to this day, with lots of experience under his belt and various clients, from Globo TV nationally and Disney, international. His course was market cheap but I was barelly getting each month as I was.
On March, almost a full month! Things were getting interesting. Early commissioners were comming back and a new challenger arrived. Prices got reviewed for a way easier to understand. Created my ToS.
On April, first complete list! One overwhelming force in the form of Retto, who stayed with me for a while, asking tons of comms and literally saving my skin for the animation course.
On May, 300 followers, 5 commissions and new guests! I was trying to stream as much as I could, to not much result, started doing multis to fell better and met other artists through the process.
On June, the list begun to take shape as I put in more features. new commissioners, group commissions, and 4 satisfied customers, not bad! Oh, 500 followers, 200 more than last month :o
On July, a full month, introduced the Sketch slots, which I though people would just go for since it was cheaper, but suprise suprise, you just want my Illustrations.
On August, learned it's a low season for commission. Still, it went well.
On September, Animation update! 3 illustrations and 5 sketches - 2 animations.
On October, looking good on the Illustration and 1 sketch. introduced the Pre-order batch, you could order a commission early, but I started working on it second week of the month, as I always have.
On November, I've decided to make an end of the year deal where I make 12 commissions right away to end the year in a blast! it was a blast alright, a blast of burnout exaustion. I've met my limits those months, which I would never repeat again.
I've ended my animation course, extremely satisfied. When I could barely pay a month before, now I was able to pay 2 months straight! That's development for ya. After the end, another class was taking place for cleanup. I've signed right on it, for cleanups were in high demand. I've got a taste of my first animation gigs as a freelancer, hoping next year I'd get on board a studio.
ONTO 2019
January, the year began sweet, with full house on illustrations :D
February was slow, but sweet.
They say one step back, two steps forward. On March, full list, group commissions and sketches, all done in time!
April there was animation and Illustrations I've learned how long animations take so 1 animation sloot took 2 illustrations to optimize time. some changes were made on commission tab.
May, 4 illustrations, 1 sketch. I've ended my Cleanup course and participated in a commercial work. That helped me get onto a feature project from Chile, where I am to this day, working as an assistant freelance, and I couldn't get to without a tip from a colleage in cleanup class.
June and July, introducing the Loyalty Rewards, a very customer friendly way to get increased discounts and porve to give me lots, lots and lots of work for the rest of the year! DreadSteel dominated the commission scene and became my beta tester for the time being. I almost got into a studio on my first try, but unfortunately my awe and joy got the better of me on the studio tour/interview.
August proved to be alow point for me, because I was invited to another studio, but a ton of pressure to move to another state and inexperience on the matter gave me another burnout and sent me to hopsital beacuse I've forgot to drink water, which gave me kidney stones. I got better, but there was a big financial loss included.
Looking back, I've written a journal based on another, thanking you guys for all of your support and to remind myself to never take you for granted. In this journal, the same <3
September, began learning about finance, leardeship and religion, as I was very disappointed in myself and wanted to improve badly anyway I see could help. Full month, tons of work and much love, y'all!
October, felt like I'm running agaisnt time, kept studying, got into religion and made my first conservative investment, now looking into the future where I made a healthy income and my projets will be all fun and games! Got invited to work as a teacher for kids throughout the state on video editing and digital art.
November, So full, I had to postpone the comms while I finish Octobers. Still going on today but getting back on track. inside the school, the founder got a game project in the works, but lacking in art department. He asked to join and I said nope - lol no, I said yes.
December, marks the end of the Loyalty Rewards Beta, taking the data for improvement, increased prices, which meant new clients. It's hard to juggle comms, teaching and game dev, along with cults and studying and having free time to play games and meet my friends, but I'm managing somehow.
As time goes by, seems I'm not guetting less lewder. Since I've began my Comm shop, I've never had one dry month. Some close calls but when the ball starts rolling it never stopped, even when I've increase value. As I get better as an artist, I'm not stopping anytime soon. Even when it's seems I stopped, i'm certainly doing something else.

Slight chances to the commission list on November
Posted 6 years agoDue to the amount of commission still in the making and the lack of time I'm expecting this month, I'm cutting the available slots to 3 instead of the usual 6. Commission procedures remain as normal.
I'm sorry about any incovenience I might've caused. Have a prosperous month!
