currently I'm using an alternate fursona which is actually a character I adopted named ShueLong he more accurately reflects my current personality, as well as having a kinder looking face/art.
but for this journal I'll be using my official fursona, Felix FireFox
What made you choose the species of your main Character?
when I first chose a fox, I had no idea of the stereotype of a slut, instead I thought of it as reserved, quiet, sneaky and cunning.
Is your character just like you, or how you want to be?
he was like me when I first created him (4/5 years ago when I was 16) and partially grown into what I want to be like.
Does your character have the same personality you have?
used to, but by now I've become more compassionate and tolerant, and less impulsive, hot blooded
Does your character have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
my fursona has a certain dislike to genetic manipulation and unwilling test subjects, thanks to his back story. other than that it's the same
Does your character look like you at all?
let's be honest, there's no way in hell I'll sprout a tail, ears on top of my head, and a muzzle any time soon, but in regards of body shape, height and weight, yes.
Is your character the same gender as you, if not why?
Yes o.o why wouldn't it?
Do you have more then one main character?
I have roughly 5(?) characters I can always call up on top of my head and rp as them at any time, if that's what you mean by main character.
Do you have a back story for your character, if so does it have anything to do with your own?
yes XD the backstory is where my fursona officially dwells into sci-fi from the time/age he was created, after that it's split of course. unfortunately I've never post my back story on FA
Is your character mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
well, I'm mated with my internet boyfriend Beowulf, (whom does not have an fa account unfortunately)
If not, are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
we're in a sexually open relationship, if I happened to be aroused (very rarely)
Is there something special about your character that you think sets them apart from others?
well, let's see. he's a blue colored fox with a charred right(or should I change it to left?) hand that wields fire... yeah I'd like to think so.
Do you have much art of your main character?
about 2 piece... woo~ >.>

never. he's very important to me.
Have you ever roleplayed with your main character, or do you prefer not to?
I do role play alot, but since I've learned that appearently furry's definition of role play is sex without plot, not very much.

he's more or less an alter ego that lives in my head and chat with me when I was lonely. (and complains about being ignored for too long everytime he's summoned >.>)

Posted 12 years agoI am, by no means popular and chances are no one will ever pay attention to me enough any more than any other people out there that has a remotely good art skills. Here is my story.
my name is Felix, it is my English name and what I'm called by almost everyone other than my family (of whom sometimes call me by my Chinese name instead) I have adopted the internet last name FireFox from my web sister, before which (and outside of my furry fandom persona) I'm use the number 2648.
I first started out when my fursona is created, he started off as a bunch of suicidal thoughts and my fantasy where life is easier as an animal with less things to worry about, he's been changed to a fox because of my love of fluffy tails and that fox are perceived as mysterious, silent and cunning.
I wrote story of fantasy on deviantART as a way to coping mechanism, and I really found it fun. It was something I've wanted to kept going until school work got too busy that I had to stop, and haven't picked it up ever since. Looking back I found my story to be extremely silly, filled with obvious writing cliches and joke reference, but I guess back then I thought it as one of the best things I've created (probably cause it's the only thing).
Within the year that I started, my story also lead me to the actual part of the furry fandom, when a stranger noticed uncanny similarities with a role play that he hosted more than a few years back before I started. It is complete coincidence, but thanks to him I was liked to Furry4Life, the website where I truely discovered the fandom for what it is, the connections to the rest of the fandom like FurAffinity, and I have met many friends. And it brings me more joy and emotional attachment than I have with reality.
It was at that point that I've vowed to myself, no matter how bad things come to in real life, I will never attempt suicide again. Not when there's something that I can look forward to. The thing is that while the fandom (or internet in general) is known for it's drama and it's force of driving people away from the place, besides the drama and sex, there are many, many people who are genuinely nice people (furs?) who care and will be there to support and help you.
While nowadays I only have a handful of friends online (in real life even less), however I want to help the fandom the way it helped me, I want to help people troubled with drama so that they won't push them away before I can know them. even if I'm not worth being a bother to them who have way more popularity than me.
