I am brand new to the fandom (since this summer). I have found since joining the furry fandom that I am able much more free to express myself through my music and writing. People here have so far been very accepting and welcoming, which to me is very important. I am happy that I am able to express a part of myself that I would otherwise find difficulty expressing.

There is, however, still a sense of loneliness for me within this subculture. I am one of the few conservative Christian furries, and my faith is so central to my writing and music. I hope to continue building relationships with the other Christian furries I am currently in contact with!
