of Signatures and Names
Posted 5 years agoLooking through our work, you'll note that we have multiple signatures.
We struggled with this throughout our life and wondered why. We'd originally had a pseudonym for art related to our comic and then our old given name that we'd use for signing checks and other artwork. But we never could keep them straight, and seemed to find ourselves writing one name or the other on different pieces of work regardless of the purpose of that work.
There were also a couple of other professional style signatures we tried to make to act as an all encompassing mark.
Then, after we came out as trans, we changed our legal name and tried signing all our work with that. But that just complicated things. We had even more names to accidentally sign with.
Then we realized we were plural and it all made sense. We were signing the name of whomever of us had done the most work on the piece.
Now, we've finally come up with a system name, the Inmara. So, from now on we intend to sign everything with at least our system signature. And then, if one of us wants to put their name in particular on piece, they will do so next to that signature.
All of these signatures belong to us, though.

Hello!
Posted 5 years agoWe're going to try to start using our account here finally.
First we're going to upload a bunch of our old work. Stuff we really can't do anymore because of our disabilities, but that we're very proud of.
Then, hopefully, we'll start uploading a series of characters portraits for our series of novels, the Sunspot Chronicles.
