Hello everyone, I did manage to make a new journal after a while, to be honest. It is something that I wanna do something related to the furry fandom but I kinda that hesitate to persuade because I don't know if it's a good idea to persuade that idea like that especially at that moment (or worried I could get too aggressive). Anyway, I’m trying to take caution and hoping to seek feedback and try to answer the best I can and this writing is subject to change based on either my thoughts or feedback from other users.

This is something I want to change the furry fandom (in a good way).

I want to bring more accessibility regarding asian furry works specifically in the western furry fandom and hoping to spread more word of mouth within it.

I try to move on and pursue to other hobbies and personal life because I thought especially at that moment it was unlikely would happen based on what I’m told, and I believe persuading would be kinda worthless and kind of worry it would cause a backfire if I’m being too aggressive, even though I’m trying to avoid it, so I try to move on and pursue to other hobbies and personal life. However, such disturbances have kept happening, including a breakup with a friend, and I'm thinking I’m already living in a rough life as it will probably keep happening to me every so often.

I already made a rough concept draft of it, and I’m still often thinking of my dream and idea, perhaps every day.

The reason why is that I don’t think I have a lot of engagement in my furry fandom being in the state as it’s in comparing to other fandoms. It’s such more of a social gathering and having parties especially when it comes to cons and much of the stuff they talked on what’s hot and activities to do doesn’t seem to interest me.

So far I have seemed to be mostly engage in art, rp, and when it comes to cons, buy some merch, interact with some fursuits, and spending sometimes or perhaps most in the game room. I also go to some panels, but it depends on what kind of topic that have been interested to me. I tried to chat and go to meeting rooms, but I don’t seem to have much to say, and usually I’m that anxious and shy. This happens either in IRL, VRChat and maybe voice chatting. That’s why I want to bring dedicated & interesting works that are I think many fans would like and maybe make it more similar compare to other fandoms, like anime, gaming, etc. especially when it comes to conventions.

I do found a company to hope to work for with, but when I tried to contact them they haven’t got back to me, despite how small the company is. They have been known for works such as Tokyo Afterschool Summoners. Although they games are intended to target primary LGBT individuals, including those in the furry fandom, their works maybe currently lacking in the west among furries regarding it’s popularity due to a few number of factors (limited platforms which are only mobile, language barrier, it’s monetization, etc). To be honest, I got hooked with those games because of the characters, and while I have been in the fandom before, they have greatly influence me on what I am a furry today.

However I do hear that despite it’s games currently only available on certain platforms, it doesn’t seem to be limited on it, so they maybe open to work on games specifically for different platforms. But if things failed for what I’m trying to accomplish, there maybe other companies to work with.

I may believe it may be worth achieving giving how popular anime was along with furries, so it could work out and maybe perhaps a lot of them, or maybe even everyone in this fandom would enjoy it, especially for the characters I came up with along with other ideas I may have in mind.

So I’m considering reaching out to several others that could help make my dream a reality, or maybe to see if there is any interest of their works, especially with it’s art-style. I am also kinda considering doing a campaign to see if we can get a response with LifeWonders or maybe perhaps another company that can do the similar to see if we can get a response from them regarding bringing, or maybe considering making/bringing works for larger scale platforms (consoles/pc). Overall, I am hoping to bring a change in the fandom in hoping in the positive way by bringing new, cool & interesting things to engage to, talk about, etc. so I don’t feel I’m that kinda lonely giving what in what I am contributing and engagement in this fandom and hope to have new opportunities.
